The more we seek God, the more we will realise that - we know very little about God and there is still so much more to know about God. Knowing that we know very little about God and there is still so much to know about God creates a desire to seek God more. This desire or realization or cycle is a journey of a person who seeks God. This journey is a cycle that continues till we know God fully or completely. We are not satisfied with what we know about God because there is still so much more to know about God.
A person who seeks God realizes that there is still so much to know about God, and that our earthly journey is not sufficient to completely know God. So he does not waste time but continuously seeks God. Every second is precious to him and he uses his time effectively. Only when we seek God more, will we realise that there is so much more to know about God.
For example, seeking God is similar to a person digging a mine for diamonds.. He is aware that diamond is available at a depth of ten meters. However, after he reaches 10 m depth, he discovers some diamonds, as well as clues or hints of other precious stones such as Chrysolite. He will be amazed by the clues or hints of new gems such as Chrysolite. So he digs down another 10 meters and discovers Chrysolite and hints of additional new precious stones. He will once again be amazed to discover clues of new gems or treasures. He digs another ten meters, and so on. He continues to dig 10 meters and repeats this cycle until he finds all precious jewels in that mine.
He started searching for diamonds but now finds them with many other priceless jewels. Seeking God is the same. A person who seeks God will not be satisfied until he knows God completely. He continues to dig until he knows God completely. He is not satisfied with bit and pieces.
In our journey of seeking God, after we dig ten meters, we discover some treasures or revelations of Jesus Christ along with some clues/hints of new revelations of Jesus Christ. We will be marvelled by the new treasures or revelations of Jesus Christ. After that, we'll dig for another ten meters, and so on, until we completely know Jesus. Seeking God is an untiring journey. The more we seek, the more we will be refreshed and amazed by Jesus. The deeper you go, the deeper you are drawn to know more about Jesus. Seeking God is a never-ending journey, but on this journey, we require the help of the Holy Spirit.
For example - when we seek God, we initially experience God as a Holy God. After a few months, we experience and know that God is both Holy and loving. After a few years, we experience that God is merciful, holy, and loving, among many other things. . Seeking God will make you experience and know God. Seeking God will make you know God via by experience or tasting him. A person who pursues God will not merely talk about God; rather, they their lives will display the God whom they experienced.
Only when we seek God more, will we find new treasures of Jesus Christ. Salvation is a free experience but seeking God requires effort and persistence. Seeking God is lifelong pursuit until we know God completely.
We won't discover new treasures of Jesus Christ until we seek God. We need to dig deeper and deeper as there are so many treasures of Jesus Christ yet to be discovered and still not dug. It requires skilled and persistence seekers to find the treasures of Jesus Christ. There is still so much to know about Jesus which is not discovered that our minds cannot comprehend or understand. A person who thinks he knows God, his journey of seeking God has stopped. Today ask God to create a desire to seek him and to keep seeking him until you find and fully know him. Start this journey on earth, even if it takes millions of years to completely know God. Don't abandon your passion to seek and see God until your last breath.
