Continued from Part 1
What are the words that cause sin?
Second. Proverbs 15:1-2 A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. 2 The tongue of the wise adorns knowledge, but the mouth of the fool gushes folly. A soft answer turns away wrath; A harsh word ignites anger. The tongue of the wise speaks good knowledge; The mouth of fools utters foolishness.
Sinful tongue number 2. Harsh words. A harsh word that ignites anger. It is a sin. Harsh words ignite anger, even in your family life. It is a sin committed with the tongue. How many sins have you committed in your family life? How many sins has the wife committed against her husband? How many sins has the husband committed against his wife? Every hard word that comes out of the mouth turns into a sin.
The third binding word. Proverbs 29:20 Do you see the man who is bound by the word? There is more hope for a fool than for him. A man of his word. The word says be quick to hear and slow to speak. Read James 1:19 But let every man be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger. Many are at a loss for words. Speak before thinking. If you hear anything, it will be celebrated. It does not think about what its reality is. One does not seek where the truth lies. There is no hope for those who cling to words. It is a sin. They should be quick to listen and slow to speak. Obedience to words, stubborn words become the cause of sin.
Fourth. Malachi 3:13 Your words are too hard for me, says the Lord. What are the harshest words. Read below. But you ask: Why are we talking to you? Serving Jehovah is in vain. Harsh words. It is futile to serve Jehovah. Just preaching the gospel. It's just a publicity stunt. Going from house to house to preach the gospel is in vain. Just doing something for God's work. Doing something for God's kingdom is just for nothing. Let me tell you something that I have heard. Once a believer had a banana farm. 100 bananas. First cut the ripe bunch and gave it to God servant's house. The next day there was a terrible wind. The rest of the fight was beaten to the ground. He said a decision was made next year. The former is not given to the servant of God. did not give Planted 100 bananas. A hundred results were obtained. I am a servant of God and give this testimony in vain. That's why my whole banana was blown to the ground. Serving Jehovah is in vain. Working for God is in vain. God is saying if such thoughts have arisen in your life, your word is too hard for me. Next verse 14. It is futile to serve Jehovah; Of what avail is it that we look upon him, and walk in black before Jehovah of hosts? First, it says that it is in vain to minister, secondly, we look after him in vain, and thirdly, what is the use of walking in darkness. What is the use of fasting? What was the use of going to the meeting? What benefit has come from praying? The words that say what benefit has come from giving tithes are too hard before the Almighty.
Fifth. Enticing Words Colossians 2:4 I say this so that no one deceives you with enticing words. The word of seduction is the word of sin. Many people's words wrongly attract many people to them. Seducing. This is mostly seen in leaders. Absalom's spirit draws them in through words as they enter. You know about Absalom, David's son. 2 Samuel 15. He was worthy and had long hair. Dress appropriately. If anyone came to the palace with a complaint, he would stand at the door, give them a hand, a hug and a kiss. Then he will say that if the king had made me to solve your problem, I would have fixed everything in one day. In this way, Absalom drew the hearts of the people to himself. A true servant of God never attracts souls to himself. Many work for themselves. Many lure spirits to themselves. After 3 years of work, there is no one to stand with the Lord. 50 people will meet to stand with the pastor. 50 people will raise their hands to call for Inquilab for the pastor, to be silent for the pastor, and to shout slogans. Be careful that no one deceives you with flattering words. Let me tell you one thing, you should not stand under the umbrella of any pastor, you should not stand with any committee, you should stand with the Lord Jesus. Your love must be for Jesus. Keep following Jesus. A true minister prepares people for the Lord.
Take heed that no man deceive you with flattering words. Children of God should not try to create groups by attracting others to them with seductive words. That is sin. Words of seduction are sin, and many use them unknowingly. Satan is deceiving many people in many places to follow him and create a group for himself. What should be seen, heard and read when the election comes. Genre activities rather than political parties. Satan deceives people. Beware that no one deceives you with flattering words.
Sixth 1 Thessalonians 2:5 As ye know, we have never used flattery, nor the art of covetousness; God is witness. Flattery is a sin. What is this flattery? What does that mean? I'll tell you. Let's face it, I don't like the lead today. At the same time, when there are so many people in this prayer line, I say, Oh, do you know what a blessing this servant of God is to this prayer line. Flattery is praising the person in front of four people without being sincere in the heart by saying that he has laid down his life for this prayer line. I don't like the pastor at all. I don't like it at all. But alas, the sermon of the servant of God last week. flattery We have been praying for a servant like this. Thank God. How good is this God. God has given us the servant of God here. Do you know the name of this?
Many people do not realize that the word of flattery is a great sin. A lot of things are shouted without knowing it. One should know how great a sin is caused by using flattering words like this. I will tell you something that happened earlier. While some of us are talking, one of them is telling the story of another person who is not there. There is no one as bad and wicked as that man. So while he was telling the whole crime of that man, the person about whom he was talking happened to come there. At that time, the person who was telling this crime jumped up, gave his hand, gave the PRAISE THE LORD and laughed, and when he saw that he was bowing his head and sitting down. The person who was blaming said that God is doing it with such health. God has given me so much healing. flattery It is a terrible sin. It will cause a terrible fall in life. Those who praise people only with words without any intention in their hearts will end up miserable. Do not forget that before God takes away the days of life from this world, he will tear his face and reveal it to all. Flattery is a sin.
Seventh trick words. 2 Peter 2:3 And they will deceive you by speaking deceitfully in the lust of money. Trickery in words. Do you know where it comes from? Arises from covetousness. Do not hesitate to use any trick because of greed for money. It is sometimes in the middle of business. There will be giving and receiving. Using trick words. I am not asking how it is, you must think for yourself. If you have used tricks in your family life in this worldly life, it is a sin.
Next is 3 John verse 10. The eighth curse. Therefore, when I come, he will remind him of what he is doing by cursing us. Verse 9 tells about whom. Diotrephes. Those who want to be important in the church should pay attention. Diotrephes does not join us when he writes to the church, the apostle says. Why not add apostles? Administrators are not included, pastors are not included. Because he wants to be important. What comes out of the mouth of someone who wants to be important is bad words. Let's read together. He cursed us. Think about God's children, have you hurt any of God's children by saying bad words? Bad words are sin. Take a step back in your Christian life and think about what has been said in the past. Which children of God have spoken against. Against which mothers and fathers have bad words been spoken. Have you repented of it? Have you confessed? Have you asked for forgiveness and made amends? There is no shortage of tongues, the sin still lies there. There will be no goodness, there will be no peace in life, there will be dryness in the work of hands. Do you know how much words destroy the lives of many people? Many people give up their tongues to speak anything and everything. It is not considered a sin.
Ninth coarse joking. Let's read Ephesians 5:4. Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. Jesting This is sin. It's bad. A husband calls his wife and a wife calls her husband words that are not in the dictionary. Father and mother will call their children and children will call their parents. There is no such thing as a bad word, but some words become bad when they are used inappropriately. the bad kind We may have bred cows, goats, dogs, cats and chickens in our country. In this country, you may have a cat or a dog as a pet. There is no harm in the name of any of these animals. There is nothing wrong in calling a cow a cow, a goat a goat, a dog a dog and a cat a cat. But when some people get angry and call a co-creator a dog, they are misplaced. God made him with his own hands and breathed the breath of God into him and made him a living man, and when God placed him within him and made him sharer in heaven, man turned him into a four-legged dog. Bad.
The donkey was the animal on which our Lord rode. If some people call their brother ``Hi Donkey'' when they are angry, they do not call them that way because it is an animal that the Lord is traveling with. But have you ever heard someone call someone a horse when they are angry? The position is wrong. In India in the past, some people used to call the beggars as bastards. When we are angry, if we call our fellow brother a bastard, we are out of place. Sin with the tongue. Some have a terrible grace to use these words. To call his wife that, to call his husband that, to call his children that. To call fellow brothers and sisters so. It is not used in the dictionary when it comes to anger. A word that is not in the dictionary.
Foolish talking, it's a good thing to say. Do you know what grace is? One thing to remember is that every gossip will drain the grace from your life. When the believers gathered four people, there was some spiritual growth, laughing and joking. There was some grace. We got some help to prepare for the coming of the Lord. When 4 young people get together, they will be rude, gossip and make fun of each other. The prophet says in Jeremiah prophecy 15 I have not sat among the players and amused myself. Can we bear such testimony, Psalm 26 says I have not sat with the vain. Do you know that speaking gossip is a sin? It will break you. It drains grace. We must know that it will destroy us.
10th false words. Read Job 27:4 My lips shall not speak iniquity; and my tongue shall not speak falsehood. It is a sin to speak unrighteousness and to tell lies. tell a lie You will find many liars in the spirit world today. It starts with movement leaders, district leaders, ministers of local churches, committee members and ordinary members and the list goes on and on. Holy lies abound. I did it. So many gathered there for the meeting. Thousands were saved, thousands were baptized. Hundreds were anointed and thousands of sick people were healed. So many false words. Job says, My lips shall not speak iniquity; and my tongue shall not speak falsehood. It is a sin to lie to those who listen to me, whether it is small or big, it is a sin. Let us not give our tongues to it. Satan will stand before God to testify against us. Proverbs 10:31 reads: The mouth of the righteous brings forth wisdom; A crooked tongue will be cut off. Psalm 12:3 says that the Lord will cut off all lying lips and the speaking tongue. In Proverbs 6 God says six things Jehovah hates; Seven things are said to him: One of the things that are said there is a false tongue, that is, liars. Revelation 21:8 says: The portion of all liars is in the burning furnace of fire and brimstone. Lying is a sin. Don't take it lightly.
Sinful Words:
1 Vain words
2 hard words
3 words of commitment
4 very hard words
5 Words of Seduction
6 flattering words
7 words of wisdom
8 bad words
9 Coarse joking
10 fake words
Now if we say this, there are many. I will keep my ways, lest I sin with my tongue. An ordinary repentance is not enough, God's people need a repentance that shakes their feet to the hair and turns their hearts back to the Lord.
Now we must know how the sin in these words breaks a man. That's why when I thought about the first topic because the wicked one is standing before Psalm 39:1 If sin enters your tongue, if sin enters your words, the wicked Satan will write it down in his records and when you stand before the judgment, you will not forget every sinful word that came out of your mouth and will take it and examine you before God and make you guilty. Therefore we must always remember that the evil one is always before me.
The wicked will have to write down the words and stand before God. Psalm 34:13-14 Guard your tongue from doing evil, and your lips from speaking lies; Forsake evil and do good; Seek and pursue peace. Why? Let's read the verse before it, verse 12. Who desires life and desires long life to see good? This is the point 1 Peter 3:10-11 "Whoever desires life and desires to see good times, let him keep his tongue from doing evil and his lips from lying. Let him forsake evil and do good, seek and pursue peace. He who desires these two things, let me ask one thing, how many are there who desire life. If you don't want life, then what do you want? How many people now want to go to the lake of fire? He who wants to see good times. That word has a lot of meaning. good time We read in the Holy Bible that it is a good port. Everyone will pray Lord I want a good ending. Because of that good end, many people think that they should be in good health. You should eat good food, you should live in a good financial condition, you should have a good bath every day, you should change your clothes and you should eat delicious food. After that you should drink a glass of warm milk, brush your teeth, apply some cream on your face, hands and feet and lie on the bed for a long time. It's enough for me to die like this without being a burden to anyone, even if I don't go to heaven. Here's the good ending. In fact our brother got a happy ending. Oh, it wasn't too soon. It was not a problem for anyone. Do you know where that brother went?
The testimony of the apostle Paul, I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith, and now the crown of righteousness is laid up for me. A good ending is to end with that. There are 4 things behind it. A good fight. Only those who fight the good fight get the good end. What's not a good fight? War that is not. Fight between husband and wife at home. Fight between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. A fight between In-laws. That's the war that won't happen. Lived as a believer for 40 years. The whole thing was enough. War between believers. The war between the pastor and the believers. The fight between the committee members. A battle for positions. But there is no shortage of prayer and tongues. Tithe will also be given. Finally the dead superintendent, or overseer, or president came. When it was put on public display, journalists, organizations, movements, and a long list of people came and expressed their condolences. He was a good servant of God. Finally taken to the cemetery. The president said, "I lay the ground here with the hope that when the Lord comes down from heaven with a great shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, this servant of yours will rise up before the resurrection of all the saints. At the same time, the whole life was enough. The fight between brother and sister has not been over for years.
He who wants to see a good time, He who wants to see a good end, He who wants to see a good fight, That's the problem. Keep the faith. While reading the book Pilgrims Progress, the believer found a scroll in the middle of his run from the city of destruction to the city of Zion. The person who gave the scroll said that you should show this when you go to the door of heaven. This scroll should be recited in the middle of the journey. This will strengthen you when you are tired. This scroll was given saying that. On the way there is a land called the world. You have to go that way. Because of the weariness of the journey and because of the tribulation, this Christian fell asleep a little. What happened during that sleep? The scroll in his hand fell down. He did not know that the scroll had left his hand in the middle of his sleep. He woke up and jumped up and said oh I fell asleep and suddenly jumped up and went away. He did not know that the scroll had been lost from his hand. The need came when you went a long way. At that time I looked for the scroll and did not see it. Many people have been saying for years that it has been so long. Faith is still in hand. Or is it a missed race. Keep the faith. Next is his testimony. A crown of righteousness is laid up for me. That is the good time. auspicious port He that would see good times, and he that would see life, let him keep his tongue from doing evil, and his lips from speaking lies. Let's read 1 Peter 3:10 “Whoever desires life and desires to see good times, let him keep his tongue from doing evil and his lips from speaking lies. If you do not guard your tongue from harm and your lips from lying, you will not see life, you will not see a good time. Hope you understand what I said. If you do not guard your tongue from doing harm and your lips from speaking lies, you will not enter into life. There will be no good ending. Let these words be etched in our hearts like letters carved in stone.
