“What you asked for”

PRAYER
OPENING: - Well, the election is over, and our next President is what America wanted and now must be prepared to receive what it asked for, a man that was impeached 2 times, left office and hid classified documents in his bathroom, was found guilty with 34 felony counts, lied on top of lies, incited an insurrection against the very people he was president over, slandered some of the most highly decorated military members, who said he would use the National Guard or Military against citizens of the United States, and who is the epitome of fascism. I am not going to bash people for the way they voted, I am not going to disrespect people for stating their opinion and making their choice for that is exactly what it is and what has happened the choice of the people. My desire it to present knowledge and expounded how we as Christians are to respond and act to what is going on in the world understanding that we are in the world but not of the world.
Hosea 4:6 says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children”.
Several weeks ago, I stated in a message that the Constitution, Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights, our Country, and our entire Governmental System is NOT built on Christianity, Biblical Principles, or God at all, but is built upon White Nationalism and has incorporated Christian Nationalism to help support it. White/Christian Nationalism is an ideology that espouses the belief that white people are a race and seeks to develop and maintain a white racial and national identity.
Now you must understand the concept of race is not a God mandate or Biblical Principle and truthfully did not emerge until the 16th to 18th centuries as a product of colonial enterprises of European powers that identified race in terms of skin color and established white skin is considered superior which introduces White Supremacy. When God created Man in Genesis 1:26-27 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them” He created the human race or what we call Homosapien. Yes, there has been different tribes, cultures, nationalities, and ethnic differences since God scattered the people from the Tower of Babel in Genesis 10 but that is not race.
QUICK BIOLOGY CLASS: - Now without going to deep when genetics is mixed you get different types of traits, hair, eyes, skin color, and so forth. For example: - a dark-skinned person marries a light skinned person, and they have children their children come out light and they marry a light skinned person and that continues for a couple of cycles then all of the sudden there are two very light skinned people, and they have a dark-skinned child it is because of the genetics with in them. We understand also as people moved farther and farther away from the equator and certain areas that the vegetation was different the melanin in the skin changed because of the food and genetics and this is how we end up with the different complexions. Not different races, just different complexions.
With that being understood let me explain the concept of abortion and how the Government uses the Bible to manipulate people into believing a certain way. Understand the Government is in no way concerned rather or not and abortion is done or if it is against the commandments of God or not, they are not concerned with Thou shalt not kill and say abortion is going against God. You must understand white nationalism and how it uses whatever means necessary to fulfill its desires. This is the same thing that was done when abolitionist opposed slavery, and the slave owners found support by having preachers use twisted biblical interpretations of scripture to support and justify it. So, they used manipulation of scripture because if the Bible says it then it must be right.
Back to abortion - numerically 60% of all abortions done are done by white women and this literally scared the white nationalist as they seen they are literally numerically dropping and that caused a great fear. The fear of the so-called white race dropping numerically caused for some kind of action to be taken. The Government refuses to pay women to have babies like other countries because they don’t want to have to pay black and brown women, so they come up with a plan and that is ban abortions along with the establishment of planned parenthood centers in predominately black and brown areas, this will increase white births and hopefully slow down the births of black and brown babies, that is why planned parenthood gives out birth control pills and condoms.
So, they devise a plan and say listen the Evangelical Christians believe that abortion is a sin against God because He said thou shalt not kill, let’s get them to back the white national agenda on abortion have our political people in place to agree with them and we can bring about the change we want. So, they get people who really can care less if a woman has an abortion or not and say asinine stuff like women need to be punished for having an abortion and there needs to be a ban on all abortions which excites the Evangelical and Judeo-Christian community. This turns into the whole issue of women don’t have the right to make decisions on their own bodies. Now you have a candidate that says abortion is wrong the Evangelical church backs them up and calls them a God send the savior of America and another candidate that says abortion is a choice and something that individual person must answer for, and they are criticized and called a murderer and ungodly by the Evangelical and Judeo-Christian church. Then you end up with the division and chaos in the church you have right now over politics and the nationalist are sitting back laughing because their agenda is coming to fruition.
Now I know there will be some that say well that’s the Bible – No it’s not that manipulation of the Bible. You need to understand how the manipulation of scripture is so often used to accomplish the agenda of the nationalist movement.
HISTORY REPEATED
There is a saying that goes “Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it”. After the Civil War and the end of slavery, the fortunes of the slaveholder were reduced; however, many slave owners were able to rebuild their wealth and in places like the District of Colombia (Washington D.C.) there was passed an Emancipation Act which paid slaveowners up to $300.00 for each enslaved person freed. Needless to say, there has never been any reparations paid to Black people for being enslaved.
Black Codes were introduced which gave black people certain rights but prohibited them from freedoms like voting, serving on juries, testifying against white people or serve in a state militia. Although they were able to own land, those that could actually afford to get it, they had to sign a labor contract with white landowners, which literally was they had to give a portion of their crops to the white landowners and if they refused, they could be arrested and hired out to work for the white landowners. Remember in the original Color Purple when the white lady wanted Oprah to work for her and she refused and hit the white lady then was arrested and forced to work for the white lady that was because of Black Codes.
Now American has elected to align itself once again with someone who will repeat history certain rights are going to be taken away, asinine laws are going to be passed, and just how far back in history will they go remains to be seen.
WATCH THIS: - Fear, the lack of knowledge, and manipulation of the Bible has got America to be like other nations to have a leader who they feel is the savior of America, who they feel will restore the post slavery mentality and good ole boy traditions and concepts which is the true meaning behind the whole MAGA theology.
UNDERSTAND SAUL: - Saul was Israel’s first king. He came to power after a tumultuous period in Israel’s history, when the people were governed by various tribal chieftains, called Judges. With no centralized government and two hundred years of poor leadership, this was a period of political and social upheaval. The Israelite people were looking for a savior who could end the strife that had marred their nation’s landscape for generations. Israel wanted a good leader, one who was not corrupt and had integrity. However, there were other cultural influences at play, and the Israelites’ intentions were not completely pure as they asked for a king, and they ended up with a leader that was a narcissistic, self-serving, arrogant, impulsive authoritarian who God rejected.
1 Samuel 8:4-5 says, “all the elders of Israel gathered together and they came to Samuel at Ramah. They said to him, You are old and your sons do not walk in your ways. Now, install for us a king to govern us like all the other nations”. Now Israel had a King, God was their King. However cultural pressures, the idea that Samuel was too old, the concept of things must change, and the desire to be like others and have a leader like the Canaanites proved more powerful. Although chosen to be God’s people their hearts were not aligned to God, so He honored their request. 1 Samuel 8:7-9 says, “And the Lord said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them. According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt even unto this day, wherewith they have forsaken me, and served other gods, so do they also unto thee. Now therefore hearken unto their voice: howbeit yet protest solemnly unto them and shew them the manner of the king that shall reign over them”. Read the rest of the chapter versus 10-22 and see what type of king Saul would be and the atrocities he would commit.
Israel gets what is asked for.
Saul was not a great king, nor was he even a good man. He was deeply flawed, filled with pride, arrogance, and narcissism. The first half of Samuel is dedicated to the character of Saul and his failures. When you read what happened with Saul there may even be a tendency to feel sorry for him at times like everyone is against him (Sound Familiar). However, the point learned is Saul’s failures is to warn us, so we don’t repeat his mistakes, which in our case may be a little too late.
Saul’s problem was one of self-exaltation and self-deception. He thought he knew better than everyone else, including God and this shows his arrogance. His arrogance grows and the consequences are even more costly, yet Saul feels he is not wrong and will not take responsibility for what he has done (Sound Familiar). 1 Samuel 13:7-11, he was told to wait for Samuel before offering sacrifices to God and initiating a battle with the Philistines and in his arrogance, he didn’t listen and decided to do things his own way acting in a position he was not qualified, ordained, nor able to perform.
1 Samuel 15 we see his arrogance yet again when he is told to destroy all the Amalekites, and he doesn’t he decided to befriend the king (Sounds Familiar). Saul did what Saul wanted to do and allowed the soldiers to plunder the spoil, even though he was explicitly told to not let this happen. 1 Samuel 15:15 says, “And Saul said, They have brought them from the Amalekites: for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the oxen, to sacrifice unto the Lord thy God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed”. He justifies his stubbornness as a form of obedience, but he can’t see that what he’s doing is wrong and against God. Samuel then calls Saul to account 1 Samuel 15:19 says, “Wherefore then didst thou not obey the voice of the Lord, but didst fly upon the spoil, and didst evil in the sight of the Lord”.
UNDERSTAND: - Israel wanted a man for a king and Saul seemed to fit the role perfectly yet his self-aggrandizing attitude, arrogance, pride came through. He was filled with a sense of importance that he felt he was qualified to perform because of his title and position and that there was nothing that he was not able to do because of who he was. Although he should have been the model of Godly submission and obedience, he was totally the opposite and Israel received what God told them they would receive because they reject Him.
America Today.
Abraham Lincoln said in his Gettysburg Address Of the people, by the people, for the people and that is considered one of the most influential statements on Democracy in history. Well America has elected their next President and now must be prepared to receive what it asked for.
I will say of the people, by the people, for the people captures the true essence of Democracy which is a government based on the will of the people. The word Democracy is made up of two Greek words demos meaning people and kratos meaning power. I pray the people will still be able to have power after making the choice they have made.
TEXT: - I want to talk to the people of God and give hope in what may seem to be a hopeless situation, to encourage those of us that need encouragement, and help us to focus not on what is or what might even become but to set you hope on things eternal realizing God is still on the throne and YES in CONTROL.
ENCOURAGEMENT: - Galatians 5:26 says, “Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another”. Obadiah 1:12 says, “But thou shouldest not have looked on the day of thy brother in the day that he became a stranger; neither shouldest thou have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; neither shouldest thou have spoken proudly in the day of distress”. Proverbs 24:17-18 says, “Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth: Lest the Lord see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him”.
Here is the point to those Christians that voted for Trump, that is your choice and privilege to do so but don’t lord it over those that didn’t. Don’t be desirous of vain glory, don’t be driven by the thought that or expression that see God had a plan, the man of God won, God wasn’t going to let that person that promotes murder, homosexualism, etc. into office. Because remember Saul, God allowed him to become king but told Samuel what kind of king he was going to be because they rejected Him. Sometimes the permissive Will of God will happen to teach the people a lesson and America I believe is in store for a lesson from God.
To those of us that voted, prayed, and hoped for Kamal Harris to win the Presidency and make History. When she gave her concession speech, I even had tears running down my face because I felt devasted, I was like Wow how can that be, I couldn’t believe what was going on. It has nothing to do with salvation, the Bible, or anything religious at all it is just desire and hope.
As Christians we are told in Romans 12:15 “Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep”. There are a lot of people that are hurting, scared, confused, uncertain, apprehensive, and indecisive right now, so we need to feel their hurt understand their pain, console their disappointment, and encourage them as much as possible. Let us keep our heads up both naturally and spiritually and do as Ephesians 4:3 says, “Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” this is striving to maintain spiritual oneness and having a sense of peace and harmony among the body of Christ regardless of the difference we may have.
KEEP THE FAITH: - I know some are wondering what is next, what are we going to do, should we leave the country, I am stocking up on ammo, and all sorts of things but understand we must keep the faith and know God is in control. Psalms 147:5 says, “Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite”. Isaiah 55:8-9 says, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts”. Psalms 103:19 says, “The Lord hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all”. God is on the throne, regardless of who is in the white house, He is still on the throne, and He has established things to happen, and nothing surprises Him. Before the foundation of the world, He already ordained the events to happen which took place on this week, His divine plan will be carried out and He gives us this to hold onto in Malachi 3:6 “For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed”. We are going to be alright if we just keep the faith and understand we don’t put our trust in man, a political party, a constitution, or a voting system. Psalms 146:3 says, “Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help”. Our help cometh from the Lord not a political party or person. Rather your candidate won or lost our hope is not in that person but in the Lord.
Always Remember: - It’s not the political party, it’s not who is president or not, it is not the lie of White/Christian Nationalism, nor the rebuilding or restructuring of the Democratic party but Our hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Christ and righteousness. We dare not trust the sweetest frame but wholly lean on Jesus’ name. On Christ the solid rock we stand all other ground is sinking sand. When darkness veils His lovely face, we rest on His unchanging Grace. In every high and stormy gale or anchor holds within the veil. His oath, His covenant, His blood supports us in the whelming flood when all around us gives way He then is our hope and stay.
This too shall pass.
FOCUS ON THINGS ETERNAL: - Romans 8:18 says, “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us”. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 says, “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal”. Colossians 3:1-2 says, “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth”. Philippians 3:20-21 says, “For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself”.
Now don’t get me wrong I am not one of those preachers that believe that certain people get theirs now while the rest of us must wait until we get to heaven to get ours, that is a bunch of hogwash that was perpetrated in the lie of twisted biblically theology and slavery especially when Jesus said in John 10:10 “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly”. But focusing on things eternal is not being consumed by the temporal things of this world. We focus on having eternal life without sadness, sin, disappointments, hurts, or heartaches. It is a perfect life of love, peace, happiness, and joy.
Setting our affections on things above does not mean that we will not and should not expect to enjoy abundant life right here and now, but it helps us to understand that even when things here don’t go as we plan there is coming a time when we will not have to be concerned with this mess anymore. There is coming a time when who is president will not matter, what laws have passed or didn’t and what the reasoning behind it is all about for we shall forever be with the Lord, old things shall pass away and behold all things will become new. That encourages us to hold on, to keep the faith, to keep pressing forward regardless of what is going on now.
CLOSING: - I truly believe that America is at a turning point and that is not a turn into a better direction like what is supposedly believed, but a turning around point that is headed back to a time we have struggled and fought to come away from. The dismantling of the Democratic Political System, the subsequent penalties and destruction of the rights of women when it pertains to their own bodies, the conspiracy theorist ideologies that will no doubt cause plagues and pandemics to increase, the economic erosion that is heading our way is inevitable because we have failed to learn from the past. Just as the adage states those that do not learn from the past are doomed to relive it.
As a result of what America asked for, uncertainty has gripped the hearts and minds of the people, despair and desperation seems to be at the forefront of the minds of a lot of people and to be truthfully honest only time will tell.
America, like Israel in the Old Testament, asked for a leader, they asked to be like other nations, in their arrogance and pride have rejected God thinking that they can do it on their own and the future seems uncertain. We are now or at least soon will be faced with more lies, uncertainty, and when God begins to speak, they will be like the Children of Israel when they came out of Egypt and God spoke and they could not stand the sound, when He begins to speak, they will not be able to stand the sound.
However, if the people of God will be Encouraged, Keep the Faith, and Focus on things Eternal we shall see that this too shall pass.
Hold on to God’s unchanging hand know that our hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Christ and Righteousness.
