And God gave Solomon wisdom and exceedingly great understanding, and largeness of heart like the sand on the seashore. 1 Kings 4:29
When we face difficult and complex situations where we need to manage a large number of people, perform complicated duties, and work under a lot of pressure, we should not become frustrated or tensed. If God has placed you in such a complex situation, do not blame your situations, people, surroundings, or yourself, but rather recognise you lack God's wisdom in that area and acknowledge the need for God's wisdom. If you are frustrated or agitated and unable to handle a complex situation, it indicates that you lack God's wisdom. Recognising that you lack God's wisdom is the first step towards resolving your complex circumstances. We need to follow the below steps to resolve our challenging situations.
1) Recognise you lack God's wisdom to handle that particular situation.
2) Do not blame your situations, people, surroundings, or yourself for that particular situation
3) Acknowledge that you need God’s wisdom to handle that particular situation.
4) Understand that using human wisdom can further complicate and worsen the situation
5) Plead with God to give His wisdom.
6) Ask God to stop you from using your own wisdom.
Blaming your situation, people, surroundings, or yourself will not fix the problem; instead, it will make you more tensed and frustrated.
There are so many areas in our lives, and we face new challenges every day, so we need ask God to give His wisdom in every area of our life. Many times, God allows complicated situations so that you can start depending on His wisdom. Many people have made big mistakes in their life, and when we look at the root cause, we can see that somewhere they depended on their own wisdom rather than relying on God’s wisdom. Many times, we get stuck because we used our wisdom rather than God's wisdom.
When we do things with God's wisdom, we can do the things more effectively and have time to accommodate many more other things. You will be able to efficiently manage people, allocate responsibilities, and manage your time, saving you from sleepless nights and health issues. You will gain in terms of your health, over time live a longer life, and be at peace. Solomon's reign was marked by overflowing peace. There was peace everywhere, both within his kingdom and with its neighbours. Peace is a by-product of doing things with God’s wisdom. David was a man after God's heart, but he was surrounded by enemies both inside and outside of His Kingdom. What David could not accomplish by fighting many battles, Solomon accomplished with God's wisdom. Solomon conquered many kingdoms and expanded his kingdom without fighting any battles. Solomon with wisdom of God expanded his kingdom. He expanded his kingdom as far as Egypt, and his reign was marked by an abundance of peace.
God's wisdom does not create an avenue for conflict or battle, but rather deals with issues peacefully. Doing things with God's wisdom produces an environment of expansion, enlarging your heart and territory. When you use God's wisdom, your life and vision will be broadened and expanded. Doing things with God's wisdom expands your territory and area of influence, and leads you down the path of exponential growth. Solomon was able to fulfil his daily kingly duties efficiently and accommodate more things because he was doing things with God's wisdom, which led him along the path of expansion and rapid growth. God has placed you in complex situations because he wants you to use God's wisdom to overcome them and transform them into blessings and opportunities.
All complex situations are God's blessings in disguise intended to lift you up and expand your territory. Recognise you need God's wisdom. If you are not able to handle your work or family responsibilities, do not become depressed; instead, recognise that you lack and require God's wisdom. Being tensed, frustrated or upset are signs that you lack God's wisdom. Do not blame your surroundings or yourself, but rather recognise you need God's wisdom. No matter how complex the situation is, if you have God's wisdom, you will handle it peacefully and without any complications.
Ask God to give you His wisdom. You can clearly see lot of difference when you handle things with your wisdom and using God’s wisdom. Solomon with God's wisdom ruled hundreds of bordering kingdoms, handled his families and managed rulers and people within his empire. Solomon could have easily handled 100 people with God's wisdom. With God’s wisdom there is no limit of how many people, kingdoms you can handle. God’s wisdom always leads in the path of expansion. Despite dealing with so many people, politics, and issues, Solomon found time to write countless journals about nature. You will find or regain time when you do things with God’s wisdom.
Solomon's name became well-known not because of his wealth, but because of the wisdom he possessed, with which he solved complex situations. Solomon, with God's wisdom, turned every challenging situation into an opportunity. Today, if you want to be lifted up at work and in your family, as well as deal with job or family pressures, start by asking God for His wisdom and stop doing things with your own wisdom. When we use our wisdom, the situation becomes more worse and more complicated. God places you in complex situations so that you will recognise that you need God's wisdom and ask Him for it. As you continue to handle tough situations and resolve each issue, he will expand your territory, influence, and your reputation will rise.
From now on, ask God to give you His wisdom in everything you do, do your things with God’s wisdom, and observe how much of a blessing it brings in your life in terms of using your time effectively, health, and expansion of your work.
