PREFACE SUMMARY
Beloved, in the biblical passage of (1 Kings 18:45) listed in our scriptural references, the sea is used as a metaphor for the world, while the small cloud, no bigger than a man's hand, represents Elijah as the hand of God in a heathen world.
The bottom line is that Elijah's presence, represented by the little cloud about the size of a man’s hand, can be used by God to bring change to the world and act as a catalyst or vessel of change for God's purpose.
As the small cloud grows, it gradually transforms into a black cloud, which symbolizes the power of God's grace working through people who acknowledge and understand the purpose of God in their lives. These people become agents of change, recognizing the purpose driving the vision they feel is always out of reach and closer to reality.
When we recognize God's purpose in our lives and act accordingly, we can harness the power of grace and become instruments of change in the world. Doing so can help bring about a better future and create a world more aligned with God's will.
Through this message, we are going to explore the five graces of God and how they come into alignment to help us fulfill God's plan and purpose for our lives which like the wind in the scriptural references, the purpose for which we were created for, will help drive our vision to be all we can be to complete our assignment.
"THE FIVE CHARACTERISTICS OF GOD'S AMAZING GRACE."
Dear readers, when I think of the five characteristics of grace, I cannot help but think about the importance of the five-fold ministry which consists of Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers.
Beloved, the phrase "The Five Characteristics of Grace" is an expression that is used to describe a specific set of attributes or qualities that are commonly associated with the concept of grace. These five characteristics are Gentleness, Respect, Action, Compassion, and Energy.
Each characteristic has a unique meaning that provides a deeper understanding of what it means to embody grace in our actions and interactions with others. These five characteristics offer a comprehensive framework for understanding the concept of grace and how it can be manifested in our daily interactions with others.
1. Gentleness - The first characteristic of Grace is gentleness, which involves showing kindness, generosity, and compassion towards others, even in challenging situations. It is considered one of the fruits of the Spirit and is often described as the cornerstone of grace. Gentleness is the foundation upon which all other characteristics are built.
2. Respect - The second important characteristic of Grace is Respect. When we respect ourselves, we can see the goodness in others. This helps us to not only respect the feelings of others but also to forgive even when we are not forgiven.
Beloved, forgiveness means letting go of any resentment and anger towards others. It involves moving past hurtful actions and words and showing compassion and understanding to those who have wronged us. Respect is a powerful act of grace that can bring healing to both the forgiver and the forgiven.
3. Action - The third essential characteristic of Grace is Action. We should strive to possess this characteristic, which, when described, would be putting our words into action. When we say we will do something, we must follow through and act to make it happen. Mere words or plans are not enough; we must put in the necessary effort to achieve our goals and make a difference in our lives and the lives of others.
Dear readers, one of the most famous sayings that illustrates this point is, "Don't tell me you love me; show me." It means that our actions speak louder than our words. We need to put our love and compassion into action by doing things that help others, particularly those who are suffering or in need.
The Bible teaches us to love others as we love ourselves. However, love is not just an emotion; it is an action word that describes how we feel about ourselves, our God, and how we feel toward others. It involves putting ourselves in the shoes of others, understanding their struggles, and treating them with kindness and respect, regardless of our differences.
Beloved, Love in Action also means that we are willing to change. When we take action, we move forward and grow. We are open to new possibilities and willing to learn from our mistakes. We recognize that life is a precious gift, and we want to make the most of it by taking action to achieve our dreams and help others.
4. Compassion - The fourth characteristic of grace is compassion. Compassion refers to kindness, empathy, and understanding towards others. It involves a deep understanding of the suffering and struggles of others and a willingness to help them in any way we can. Compassion is not just about feeling sorry for someone but also about taking action to improve their lives.
Compassion can be expressed in various ways, such as volunteering at a homeless shelter, donating to a charity, or even simply offering a listening ear to someone in need. Compassionate people are known for their generosity, kindness, and selflessness. They recognize the value and worth of others and seek to impact their lives positively. In essence, compassion is an expression of grace that can bring joy and hope to those around us.
5. Energy - The fifth and final characteristic is Energy. This characteristic can best be described as stamina or determination. Isn’t it amazing that stamina or the will to get something done will cause us to complete the task even if we have expended all our energy? This can be an important meeting or even a project that needs to be completed.
My wife, Tin, who lives in the Philippines, always used to rebuke me for staying up late after driving my 18-wheeler for ten hours across the country to finish a task instead of getting much-needed rest. Do you remember the old saying, "Where there is a will, there is a way"? We can rephrase it to say that we will always find a way. There is no room for excuses because we need to prioritize things that are important to us.
"JESUS THE EXEMPLIFICATION OF GOD'S GRACE."
(Philippians 3:8) "] Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,"
Dear readers, "Jesus: Our Exemplification of Grace" just came to me and when I looked it up, I found that it refers to Jesus Christ as the perfect embodiment and representation of the concept of grace.
Grace is often described as an unmerited, undeserved gift from God, and Jesus exemplifies this by offering forgiveness and salvation to all people, regardless of their past mistakes or shortcomings.
Through his teachings and actions, Jesus demonstrated that grace could not be earned or bought but is relatively freely given to all who believe in him. Jesus' life is a powerful example of how we should extend grace to others, showing kindness, compassion, and forgiveness even in difficult situations."
Beloved, Jesus is not only a historical figure that stepped out of eternity into our realm to bridge the gap between God and man, but he is also an example of grace. His life and teachings showcase the essence of love, compassion, and forgiveness.
The Lord Jesus demonstrated a selfless living, teaching us to serve others humbly and kindly. His message of hope and salvation has inspired millions worldwide, transcending time and cultures. Jesus' example of grace invites us to reflect on our lives and strive to be kinder, more compassionate, and forgiving towards others.
(Romans 8:28) encompasses both the good and the bad to work together in harmony to aid us in our spiritual growth and transformation into becoming more like Christ. Through the grace of God, we are empowered to overcome life's challenges, resist temptations, and walk in righteousness.
(Romans 8:28) " And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
As children of God, we are blessed with an overflowing abundance of grace sufficient to meet all our needs. This grace is a gift that we do not deserve, but it is freely given to us by God. It is through this grace that we are saved, and through this grace, we can live a pleasing life to God.
We should be genuinely grateful for all the blessings this grace brings into our lives, such as forgiveness of sins, peace, joy, and hope for a better tomorrow. The grace of God is a powerful force that transforms lives and gives us the strength to overcome any challenge we may face. It is truly a gift beyond measure, and we should never take it for granted.
Through God’s Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, we are reminded of the depth of God's love and mercy towards us, and we can rest assured that he that began a good work in us will complete that work unto the day of the Lord Jesus.
(Philippians 1:6) " Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:"
Dear readers, whether through prayer, meditation, or acts of service, we can connect with God and receive the support and guidance we need to thrive in every aspect of our lives. With God's help, we can overcome any obstacle and experience a life of abundance, joy, and purpose.
Beloved, we have looked at the five characteristics that can be found in God's amazing grace, and now I have taken the liberty to list the five graces of God for you.
1. Saving Grace, Beloved, thank God, we have saving grace, which is the grace that allows us to be forgiven of our sins and receive salvation.
2. Sanctifying Grace, We have an invitation to experience sanctifying grace, which helps us become more like Christ and live a pleasing life to God
3. Strengthening Grace: We have strengthening grace, which gives us the strength and courage to overcome challenges and obstacles.
4. Sharing Grace: we have received the grace of God’s goodness that we can share with others, manifesting in many different ways, such as kindness, love, and forgiveness.
5. Serving Grace: Thank God we have received serving grace, which enables us to serve others with humility and selflessness, just as Jesus did when He walked on this earth.
Beloved, we hold the key to our success, and despite world situations and everything that has happened around us, this inspirational message is a clarion call to action, urging us to take control of our lives and maximize our potential. The beauty of this message is that it's relevant to any situation, whether you're striving for a personal, professional, or spiritual breakthrough. It's a reminder that we shouldn't wait for someone else to make things happen - we have the power of the Holy Spirit within us to help create our opportunities.
The road to success may not be easy, but with determination and hard work, we can achieve anything we set our minds to. So, embrace the power you hold in your hands and let it guide you towards your breakthrough moment. Take charge of your life and believe that you have the power to achieve great things.
Don't wait for someone else to give you the green light - take action and watch your dreams become a reality. Remember, your destiny is running toward you, not from you.
"THE LAYING ON OF HANDS BY THE PRESBYTERY."
Dear readers, this message has been about the five graces of God, the five characteristics of God's grace and now we will explore the five blessings available to the believer from the right hand of God.
(Exodus 15:6) "Thy right hand, 0 Lord, is become glorious in power:"
Dear readers, in the early church, the laying on of hands was a powerful and confident way of connecting the message with the messenger, or the spiritual gift with the gifted giver. It was a sign that authenticated the person through whom the physical manifestation of a spiritual gift was bestowed, and it wasn't just a mere formality.
According to Christian beliefs, the laying on of hands is a practice that involves the touching of the body to convey blessings or healing from a spiritual source. However, it is important to note that this act in itself does not hold any inherent power. Its effectiveness is solely dependent on whether it is carried out in accordance with God's Word.
1. The Thumb Represents - God's Mighty Power
2. The Index Finger Represents - God's Unwavering Strength
3. The Middle Finger Represents - God's Blessing
4. The Ring Finer Represents - God's Authority
5. The Little Finger Represents - God's righteous Judgment
The laying on of hands is a symbolic gesture used in various cultures and religions throughout history. In the context of the Christian Church, the right hand is typically used for this practice, as it is believed to symbolize the character and attributes of God. This act is often used during prayer or other spiritual practices and is thought to convey a sense of blessing, healing, or empowerment to the individual receiving the touch.
In Hebrew tradition, the laying on of hands was used to transfer blessings or authority from one person to another. This practice was later adopted by the early Christian Church, which used it to convey God's power and authority to believers. Today, many Christian denominations still use the laying on of hands as a way of conferring authority, blessing, or healing to members of their congregation.
The laying on of hands is a powerful and meaningful practice that has deep roots in both Hebrew and Christian traditions. Whether used to convey blessings, healing, or authority, it remains integral to many religious and spiritual worship services today.
(Acts 8:17) "Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost."
(Acts 9:17) "And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost."
(Acts 19:6) "And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied."
(I Timothy 4:14) "Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery."
(2 Timothy 1:6) "Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands."
Beloved, in Christian services, the laying on of hands is often used to confer the Holy Spirit upon a person during baptism or confirmation. It is also used in the practice of faith healing, where a person may lay hands on someone who is sick or in need of spiritual healing.
To experience the full potential of God's blessings through the laying on of hands, one must have faith in their actions and ensure that they align with His teachings. This includes seeking guidance from Scripture and the Holy Spirit, as well as following the example of Jesus and His disciples in their use of this practice.
Dear readers, by approaching the laying on of hands with reverence and respect for God's Word, we can tap into the divine power and experience greater spiritual growth and healing. It is a powerful way to connect with our faith and receive the blessings that God has in store for us.

Beloved, from experience, I can tell you that it would be best if you did not wait for opportunities to come your way to achieve your goals. Instead, you should go out, chase your dreams, and create opportunities for yourself. This can be done by networking, learning new skills, and taking calculated risks. You can unlock your true potential and achieve great things with hard work, dedication, and a positive mindset to achieve your goals.
Spending time in God's word, meditating on His promises, and maintaining a dedicated prayer life is essential. Take action today, and turn your dreams into reality. Remember, you have what it takes to make a breakthrough in your life, and the world is waiting for you to shine.
Dear readers, it's time to shift your perspective on prayer. Instead of constantly asking for a move of God, I urge you to take action and become a move of God yourself. This means surrendering your desires and asking God to lead you into His will and purpose for your life. It may require stepping outside your comfort zone and taking risks but trust that God will equip you with all you need to fulfill His plan. So, let us pray with a humble heart and an open mind, ready to be moved by God's divine guidance.
