Devotional
This passage focuses on the greatness of God and His ultimate power to deliver us from things that are beyond our abilities.
The writer of the Psalm wants people to understand that it doesn’t matter what we face in life, God is greater. The greater the things we face in life, the less we can deal with them.
We are to stop fighting in our strength and allow God to take His rightful place as Saviour and deliverer.
God is telling you to stop using your futile human efforts to fight a battle bigger than yourself.
Without God you stand as a puppet before satan and his powers of darkness.
Your household enemies and demons will continue to molest and beat you to a pulp.
They will continue to frustrate your life until you agree that only God's sovereign power can challenge any challenger.
The witches of your house will continue to grind you to powder until you surrender the battle into the hands of the able God of war.
Do not underrate the enemy of your life. Satan and his powers of darkness cannot be underestimated.
They are not afraid of your words. They fear the Word of God in your mouth. They are not afraid of you. They are afraid when you stand up or on your knees to pray. They know the damage your prayers can cause to their entire kingdom of darkness.
This is because when you are praying, the battle is transferred to God. Who can battle with the Lord God Almighty? Witches will continue to show you pepper until you show them the power of the Holy Ghost. Satan and his evil forces are only terrified when you start to pray. That prayer in your little corner can wreck the whole kingdom of darkness.
This prayer you are about to pray right now can tear out any evil foundation and bring down any demonic altar that is erected against you.
Your brilliance and eloquence cannot make satan and his evil powers surrender to you. They only surrender and run into a flight mode when the Holy Ghost fire takes over your battle!
We are to stop fighting in our strength and surrender to Him who will help us fight our battles. Our human strength cannot match God’s, and it is futile to fight when we would rather leave the matter in God’s hands.
Pray with me right now and ask God to take over your battle!
Shalom Aleichem!
