1. Friends, we have gathered here to praise God
and to witness to our faith as we celebrate the life of Virginia Whimmer
We come together in grief, acknowledging our human loss.
May God grant us grace, that in pain we may find comfort,
in sorrow hope, in death resurrection.

5. Jesus said, I am the resurrection and I am life.
Those who believe in me, even though they die, yet shall they live,
and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die.
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
I died, and behold I am alive for evermore,
and I hold the keys of hell and death.
Because I live, you shall live also.
6. As we seek comfort today, we’re assured that Virginia Whimmer is with the Lord Jesus Christ; yet her death leaves a vacancy in our lives that no one can replace!,
7. Apostle Paul wrote “Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when His glory is revealed”
• The Bible constantly informs us there will be difficult times in life; yet the Bible is also clear that as we face difficult times, God is with us, God is there to comfort us, guide us and sustain us.
• For God does not always calm the storm in our life, but He calms His chosen people in the midst of the storm!

• The Proverb claims the woman in the text 17She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks. ( Virginia never stopped caring for her home and caring for David Jr and David Sr. ) 28Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her. The entire family they all gave her praise because she certainly deserves

? 1 Peter 3: 3Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. 4Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight Yes, Virginia was a beautiful lady but more importantly her beauty was her heart
