Expansion means Growth , Expansion means Fruit ; Expansion in the word of God is always the advancement of Gods Kingdom and a fulfillment to a Promise from God for Gods People
One of our Promise Scriptures is
Is 54:2-3...Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations : spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; ( dont hold back have big Vision) Because
Is 54:3... For thou shalt break forth( to break through or down or over, burst, breach) on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit (to seize, dispossess, take possession off, inherit, disinherit, occupy, impoverish, be an heir).
The promise is ours but we must take it like the way the Israelites took the promise land it was given to them but they had to Battle nations and Giants they had to dispossess It ) Thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
3rd Wave is Your promise too Its not Just About the G.A.N.G its about The Called ..... Are you called here Tonight!!! Do you hear the Call...
The 3rd wave is not about a certain Group of People It is A Move of God!
To expand we all need to identify with the Calling and what calling is that?... It is to Reach, Teach, Disciple and send out Men women and couples into the inner cities of the world to start Churches homes and Centers...
Mainly to reach inner city People Thats our Calling and we’ve been doing it since 1967....
In order to expand and to get the results we are looking for through this 3rd wave..... it requires a few things; it requires A Sense of Calling, Zeal ( no room for apathetic people... God don't like Lazy),
Willingness to Sacrifice ( In a world where everything revolves around self—protect yourself, promote yourself, preserve yourself, entertain yourself, comfort yourself, take care of yourself— Jesus said, “Slay yourself.”)
Discipline... He who lives without Discipline will die without Dignity ( the 3rd wave without discipline will be disastrous), Discipleship.. (Disciples are not Born they are made), Faith ( without Faith it is Impossible to Please God) and Unity... ( The 3rd wave Needs everyone to Get involved)
A sense of Calling... To expand and be apart of the 3rd Wave..... we need a sense of Calling because it breeds Motivation and affects our attitude a sense of calling, affects our work attitude.. A sense of Calling keeps us on Track ....
Prov 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: They cast off restraint , nothing to keep them in line and focused , without a sense of calling were headed no where with any road taking us there we need to Expand , Stick to the vision , we need to work the Vision ... “ The Vision Works”.
We like to call it the vision of Victory Outreach ... But its Gods Vision that our Founding Pastor Sonny Arguinzoni believed sensed the Calling and ran with it
Brought to a bunch of rag tag misfits and they in turn like the Apostle Paul writes
2 Tim 2:2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
Its what we were born for a sense of calling says “ I Love What I Do! I was born for This And i will do it until i drop.....
I Believe that i came to this Ministry in middle of the 1st wave, served through the 2nd and and I’m gonna ride this 3rd one... I’m a Third Waver ,,, Turn and tell your Neigbor I’m a 3rd Waver...!
Every one sitting here tonight has been Called by God for a specific work or mission to fulfill you were were born for a reason and that reason is to somehow advance The Kingdom of God here on earth. In
Romans 12:6-8 : "We all have different gifts, and we are to use Them. according to the grace given us., and we are to do it cheerfully."
Eph.4:11-12 tells us that we are to use our gifts to equip his people for works of service, so that we can help build the Church...
Finding your calling in life can sometimes be very Frustrating. Part of the Frustration comes about because some people don't understand it by thinking its for them when in reality its for others...
"A calling is God's personal, individual invitation to carry out the unique task he has for you to work thru you for others."
Phil 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure
Jer 29:11... 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
The apostle Paul was called to preach to the gentiles... Moses was called to free the Israelites... Esther was born for such a time as this with Jesus was called to preach deliverance to the broken hearted,
Esther as we read the account in the book of Esther God is not mentioned once...
Esther calling sprung from a need; and what determined whether she would answer the Call was her willingness to Sacrifice , willing to die so others could Live She never Got a Word from God Nor A Thank You .... not on this side of Heaven
Her Motivation was a love for her People an understanding of the Time or the understanding of the importance of A Moment and A Sense of Calling ... Esthers was a Situational calling
A situational calling is easy to fall into. You look around you at the situation you are in and ask, “How can I be of service here? What can I create that will be a blessing to the other people in this situation?”
But if your not willing to sacrifice the question is always who can we get to do this ... if God is showing you a Need , are you sure He's not calling you to do it ...
That sounds simple . But how do you know when God is calling you, and is there any way you can be sure you're doing the task he has assigned you?
Throughout your life, God's calling for you will bring great challenges, often distress and frustration. You can't succeed at this task on your own.
Only through the constant guidance and help of the Holy Spirit will you be able to carry out your God-appointed mission. And The Calling of God Evolves
Here's an important thing to remember: Jobs and careers come and go. Your calling, your God-appointed mission in life, stays with you until the moment you are called home to heaven.
?How Can You Be Sure of God's Calling?
We wont open our mailbox one day and find a mysterious letter with our calling written on it?
Is God's calling spoken to you in a booming voice from heaven, telling you exactly what to do? It wasn’t like that for Esther! How do you discover it? How can you be sure of it?
Any time we want to hear from God, the method is the same: praying, reading the Bible, meditating, talking with godly friends, and patient listening.
God equips each of us with unique spiritual gifts to help us in our calling.
Its not the norm to get saved and real quick know what God has called you to do; we don't recognize our calling overnight; rather, God reveals it to us gradually over the years.
And not only does everyone have a Calling, and a Spiritual Gift; but everyone needs a calling , Because someone wisely said
“ A Man with No Vision always returns to his Past”
As we use our talents and gifts to serve others, we discover certain types of works that feel right.
They bring us a deep sense of fulfillment and happiness. They feel so natural and good that we know this is what we were meant to do.
Jesus said, Mark 10:45"For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve…"
If We take that attitude, we'll not only discover our calling, but we'll do it passionately for the rest of our life.
Lets look at the disciples. Before Jesus came on the scene, they were fishermen, tax collectors, farmers, etc..
The Bible says Jesus told his disciples they were supposed to love one another as he loved them.
Getting really good at loving People is The Foundation of your Calling “Loving God ,Loving People”.
The foundation of the process means getting really good at being a Christian.
Our 1st calling is into a relationship with Jesus learning of Him and falling in Love with Him and Frankly we shouldn’t even be involved in doing Ministry or involved in a calling without a Knowledge of Our savior and a Love for Him and A Love for People...
Yup, that means being nice to people even when you don't feel like it, forgiving people, and oh yes, loving the unlovable people in the world.
When you get good at being a Christian, you also get good at hearing from God.
He's able to use you. He's able to work through you. And it's through that process that you'll discover your calling in life.
Getting really good at being a Christian means you stop thinking about you all the time. Take the focus off you and look for ways to be a blessing to someone else.
There is no better way to receive help and direction in your own life than to focus on someone else.
It seems completely opposite of what the world tells you. After all, if you're not looking out for yourself, then who will? Well—that would be God.
When you focus on someone else's business, God will focus on yours. It means planting seeds in great soil, and then simply waiting for God to bring a harvest into your life. And in the meantime ...
Step Out and Try It I tried everything, I tried everything in the world and I tried everything in the Church and that’s how I found out what my calling was.
Be willing to try some things that interest you. You will know very quickly if you've found the right thing for you. Doors will either open or slam shut. Either way, you'll know where you stand.
Be Patient. Wanting to know everything right this second is pretty common these days. Learning to trust that God will show you when He's ready—now that takes patience.
God isn't going to show you every piece of the puzzle all at once. If he did, you'd get that "deer in the headlights" look, because you'd be so overwhelmed by it all.
Not to mention you'd be overly tempted to come up with a back-up plan "just in case" things didn't work out.
Don't waste your time on things you know aren't from God. "Get rich quick" schemes never work. Finding a Christian husband or wife won't happen if you're focused on activities and events that don't involve Christians.
And participating in things you know are wrong—well, you're simply prolonging your answers.
Don't let the people around you talk you into things. Just because it all sounds like a good idea from the world's view doesn't mean it's God's plan for you. Following God's leading sometimes means you have to say no to many well-meaning family members or friends.
It comes down to the decision to follow, no matter where it leads, don't ever give up.
You may not know your specific calling today or tomorrow, but as long as you're really great at being a Christian, and your heart is open, you will find God and he will find you.
How do I know what I’m called to do?
You figure out your calling in two ways. First, you study the situation you’re in right now. Are you somehow being a blessing to the situation around you ? Then you are doing what you are called to do – at least at this time in your life.
Second, you follow hard after God. You spend time with Him every day, in prayer and reading the Bible, and you take the next step that you know to take. The Father loves you, so if you are being faithful to communicate with Him and follow His command to love and serve, He will be faithful to lead you in the right direction.
In other words, stop worrying about “missing” your calling, and get busy being the Father’s love to the People around you! If you do and you’re not in your calling right now, you’ll eventually walk right into it without even trying!
A Calling from God will never contradict scripture. That may sound obvious, but it can be surprisingly easy for us to give in to desire that doesn’t match how scripture call s us to Live. If the thing you’re feeling called to is calling you to sin, it isn’t from God. God calling for us will always draw us closer to Him, Never pull us away from Him...
2. A calling from God will always be accompanied by His Peace, as well as anything else we need. Sometimes God will ask to do something Big or intimidating and although we may feel Fear, our fears will be met by Gods over whelming Grace and peace to do whatever it is He is asking us to do . He will also never call us to something without also equipping us to do the thing He is asking us to do
3. A Calling from God will also be accompanied By Confirmation through his Word, situations and Through our Leadership Confusion is not of God James 1:5 says if anyone lacks wisdom Just ask God and He will give It..
4.A calling from God will always result in His being glorified. While our callings can and often do benefit us, whether by growing us or by blessing us, ultimately any God-given calling will point back to Him.
If your calling seems to be all about your happiness and success with no thought, thanks, or credit being given to God, it probably isn’t from Him. (1 Corinthians 10:31, 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12)
At the end of the day, the most important thing to remember when figuring out your calling is Obedience to God....
Jer 29:11 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future
