I came to this house of God this morning with a word in my spirit about change. God said this is a season of change, major change. And He said prophesy and tell my people change is coming, and a major shift is going to be taking place.
God told me to minister change so his people could participate and cooperate with him in the process. For you cannot stop change from happening around you, but you can either, adjust to change or resist it.
The word of the Lord suggests to us this morning that you’ve been in this place long enough. In other words, you’ve been in this life-cycle, this lifestyle, and this life situation long enough.
It may be your financial situation, or your relationships, it may be in your emotional arena of your life.
It may be a physical situation of struggle with your health.
It may be your spiritual life, your walk with God, your experience with God, (your ministry). And God said: it’s time for a change.
Is anybody ready for a change?
Is anybody sick and tired of being sick and tired?
Is there anybody fed up with your present situation?
Is anybody ready to break that cycle?
Are you ready to break that cycle of sickness? Are you ready to destroy that cycle of loneness and depression?
What I am asking is there anybody who is tired of going around and around with the same old problems every day? If so God told me to tell you that, you have compassed this mountain long enough.
Tell your neighbor: enough is enough. Now tell the devil: I’ve had enough. I’ve had enough hell in my life, I’ve had enough fear and confusion, I’ve had enough discouragement, I’ve had enough lack, I’ve had enough disappointment, I’ve had enough rejection and betrayal, I’ve had enough misery, pain and I’ve had enough shame.
Somebody shout I’m ready for a change; I don’t know about you this morning but I’m ready for a turnaround. I don’t know who I’m talking to, but somebody needs a turnaround and you need it today, you need it right now. You can’t wait another day or another hour.
You’ve been taking care of everybody else, you’ve been seeing about everyone else needs, you;ve been taking everybody else to their doctors appointment and you need to see a doctor yourself, your body is just worn out.
Somebody’s facing a situation that is impossible for you to change; it’s out of your hands. Somebody is in a court battle, and you need God to move and turn that thing around.
Somebody is dealing with custody case and you need the Lord Jesus to help you, because without his help, you will fail.
What we must understand is that God was having a conversation with the people and God was saying to his people, “You have been circling this mountain for too long.” You’ve seen this mountain enough. Understand that this mountain was not where God wanted them to be. In fact, He had much more for them.
God had been providing for them shoes, clothing, and food, and some of them had just got comfortable. And that’s my plea to us this morning; that we don’t need to become satisfied or content where we are because God has much more for us to have and enjoy.
God wanted His people to move on because these people had been wandering in the desert for some 40 years.
So what God did was he gave them a directive. He said turn. I have something for you (turn) there are some blessings for you but you have to turn.
You have been wandering long enough and now you need to turn. Because the good land lay north of you and you need to start going that way. You don’t have to dwell in the wilderness anymore, you can start taking pleasure in the blessings that I have for you.
Yes, God had provided for them in the wilderness but he had
much more for them in the Promised Land, and Praise Tabernacle God does not want us to stay where we are, but God want us to go forward. He wants us to look up and expect the blessings that are on, and in our lives every day.
He wants us to enjoy the riches of His grace and not settle for the waste of this earth.
Not only did he give them a directive but he also gave them a demand. He said that you are about to pass through the territory of your brother’s the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir.
They will be afraid of you, but be very careful. What he was saying is that God did not want his people to mingle with these people for it was not in their best interest.
That goes to tell us that as Saints of God you can’t fool with everybody because some people will pull down, tear you down, and can I tell you that I’m tired of people that has one body but two faces. They laugh and smile in your face but they do everything that they can to tear you down, God said be very careful.
He said to them in verse 6, you are to pay them in silver for the food you eat, and for the water, you drink. In others words, eat, drink and move on and don’t dwell among them because they are bad news.
So God gave them a directive then he gave them a demand and now he giving them a reminder.
He says to them in verse seven "The LORD your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He has watched over your journey through the desert.
These forty years the Lord God has been with you, and you have not lacked anything". And then he reminded them of at least four things that God gave them.
He reminded them of His Favor. He has blessed us with more than we can contain. They wonder why the more they tear you down the more you advance, it’s because you are favored. They talked about you, but God gave you favor. They laughed at you but God gave you favor. They put you down but God gave you favor, can anyone feel the favor of God on your life?
He reminded of his favor, but then he reminded them of his Wisdom. He knew all about them while they walked through that wilderness.
He knew that in the wilderness, that they would face some
dangerous situations.
God knew that the wilderness was a wild and uncultivated region. It was like a forest or desert, uninhabited or inhabited only by wild animals or those who act like wild animals.
God knew that it was a territory of wasteland. God knew that it was a desolate area with unchecked luxuries.
He reminded them of His Presence. That I will never leave you nor forsake you, He has been with you all of the time. in other words, when your best friend leaves you, when they stop calling you, and when they unfriend you from their social media profile, God will remind you of his presence. He says Lo, I am with you always, even until the end of the earth.
He reminded them of his Favor, He reminded them of his Wisdom, He reminded them of His Presence, but then he reminded them of his Abundance. "You have lacked nothing." he sent them bread every day, gave them water out of a rock and gave them more meat than they could eat for forty years.
So I came to preach to this house this morning that we serve a God that is able from Genesis to Revelations we see that God has been able.
If we were to ask Ezekiel in chapter 37, he will tell you that yes God is able because he can make bones live again.
If we were to ask Job is God able he will tell you, yes God is able, because when every had lost faith in me, God had faith in me that I would weather the storm, and he brought me through the storm.
I feel something in here.
I feel the anointing in this place.
I feel the move of God here in the Tabernacle.
I feel somebody being freed in their Spirit and in your mind,
This Scripture tells us that God is doing something fresh and new, but the condition and requirement for receiving the new is to move forward in the Lord.
Tell your neighbor to move forward in the Lord.
In to move forward we must let go of the good, the bad, and the ugly.
It doesn’t matter what that boss said about you.
It doesn’t matter what they said or didn’t say about you.
You must move forward in the Lord.
I need you all to excuse me, because I’m just happy this morning; because I feel that God is going to give me my blessing, I’m going to get my breakthrough, I’m going to get my miracle.
Others can stand around and watch, they can criticize me and analyze me, they can call me undignified, they can talk about me, and put me down.
But I’m going to keep my hands in the hands of the one that can give me Favor, to the one that gives me Wisdom, to the one who gives me His Presence, and to the one that gives me his Abundance.
You’ve compassed this mountain long enough.
This is just another way of saying it’s time for change.
I feel the Lord’s Spirit pulling on me.
I feel the Lord’s Spirit stirring me.
I feel the Lord’s Spirit rerouting me tell me to go fourth
Does anybody know what I’m talking about?
