Summary: We are given the Finisher's Anointing to complete all the missions, task and life journeys on earth, because we are children of God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost: Author and Finishers of our faith.

SCRIPTURE: Hebrews 12:1-2 New King James Version

12 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the [a]author and [b]finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

INTRODUCTION:

Death is not a distinguishing mark of being finished in the Kingdom of God. The death of our Lord was not the distinguished mark of His completed work of the Kingdom of God, but a completed work of the mission upon the earth’s realm.

As we read these scriptures here in Hebrew we see the authentic work of the Lord as one that pens from the heart of the Father and brings into being the beginning of the mission from the heavenly realm to the ending of our faith. When we speak of the ending of a mission we speak about the finisher, the mission and the many failures and success that made the mission worth stepping into and finishing.

There is a finisher’s branding on a mission, a project, a product or a journey. The brand speaks about the volume of the thoughts in the heart, the cost that was paid, the work that was produced, the doors that was locked and the doors that was opened and effectual. This is the communication of the finisher. The Finisher speaks of the inward drive of confidence to cross the finishing mark and there is commendation for the finisher as he crosses over.

The Apostle Paul made a clear declaration of the intent of his heart and mind to finish the ministry afforded to him through Christ Jesus by perfecting all that he has done on the earth in living the example of Christ’s life, preaching Christ, operating in the Holy Ghost and Power and transferring the mantle of the Lord that was upon him to the churches that he planted throughout the nations of the earth.

1. THE COMMUNICATION OF THE FINISHER:

Hebrew 12:2 2 looking unto Jesus, the [a]author and [b]finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

-“The strength to Finish comes from first having the courage to start.”

-The Father’s CONVERSATION of the Son began by His word

John 1:14 KJV

14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

-The Father always started by the word. Man was conceived by the word Genesis 1:26. The Father always communicated the Finished work within the Godhead.

-Jesus is the Author (the originator, creator). He is also the Finisher, one who finishes; one who completely performs. · 2. One who puts an end to · 3. One who completes or perfects.

The word Finisher comes from the Greek word Teleiotes (G5051) from the Strong’s concordance meaning:

1. A perfector. 2. One who has in his own person raised faith to its perfection and so set before us the highest example of faith.

- We first communicate within our hearts the faith or the hope to finish. There is a pressing in the heart to move forward through the terrain of life to finish the course that is set before us.

- THE COMMUNICATION TRAITS OF A FINISHER :

Staying the course, keeping the faith and building the Kingdom of God, sheltering the storm, wielding the sword of prayer against the enemy, contending for our promises, living in the example of Christ and keeping a steady pace being un-moveable and always abounding in the work of the Lord. These traits are communicable consistently to the Father for His grace to finish all that we are called to put our hands to.

-It takes persistence and self encouragement like King David to walk consistently in the Kingdom of God even in the face of Adversity. Finishers have the ability to communicating to oneself the courage to pursue and conquer.

-Men that communicated from the heart to the spirit of God and Finished the Mission on earth:

-Abraham – the Mission: to give up his only son as a sacrifice that he contended for, for many years, obedient unto death (a Finisher like the Father).

-Noah- The Mission: to save a heritage to the Lord from the face of the earth through the building of the Ark. (a Finisher like the Father) Through Christ many are saved.

-King David- the Mission: to worship God in spirit and in truth. To set the Key (Worship and praise) arrayed for the church to keep strengthened on the earth.

-Nehemiah- the mission: to rebuild the Temple walls. Build back the security within the church. Even the enemy communicated destruction and dispossession to the house of God. But Nehemiah spoke by the Spirit of God that the enemy has no Portion, No right and no memorial before the Lord. Just like Jesus as He rebuked Satan that spoke through Peter.

-Elijah: The Mission to drop the Mantle and live in the raptured glory of God by the prophetic utterances and power of the spirit of our God and King.

The Prophetic word and utterance by tongues are the communicated glory of the finishers. We must strive to speak prophetically of our finishing of our purposes on earth.

Jesus spoke prophetically of His finishing many times and on His completing His mission on Earth He declared that “It is Finished “John 19.

2. THE CONFIDENCE OF THE FINISHER:

Philippians 1:6 KJV Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

-Finishers are confident in the faith and hope of the Father. Because Christ Jesus has performed His purpose and finished it well. That same anointing and grace we have been given by our savoir to operate in as well.

-The Apostle Paul encounter with the Lord made him confident that Christ will perfect the work of his hand on the earth because Christ did it, we too can do it.

- Psalms 27:13-14 13 I am certain that I will see the Lord's goodness in the land of the living. 14 Wait for the Lord; be courageous and let your heart be strong. Wait for the Lord.

-Finishers are long-suffering because of their confidence in the Father to perform the word spoken over their lives.

-Finishers are confident in the Father to fulfil the end result of rewards in the mission.

-Queen Esther was confident in the end result that she will find favor with the King to make her request and petition known and not be put to death.

She declared “ If I perish I perish but I am going to see the King.”

-Ruth was confident that her life with her mother in law Naomi will has a better finishing than what she will have in her home country.

She said “Your God shall be my God and Your People shall be my people”.

-Job was confident in Jehovah Jireh the God that provided all things: he said” I know my redeemer lives”.

What a confidence a man of many troubles had in our redeemer Christ Jesus.

The Finisher breaks the barriers and limitations on their lives and work in

Christ.

3.THE COMMENDATION OF THE FINISHER

Genesis 1:3 KJV 31 And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it

was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

-The final day of the mission God the Father under took as He looked at all His created glory the

commendation that was accomplished was VERY GOOD.

-God never purpose to have us fail the mission on earth. He gives us choices to

make and even tells us what to choose to be successful.

Deuteronomy 30:19 KJV

I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you

life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may

live, you and your descendants,

Our earthly mission has the commendation of much blessings as our rewards

as a finisher.

-The Apostle Paul in Acts 20:32 AMP

And now I commend you to God [placing you in His protective, loving care] and

[I commend you] to the word of His grace [the counsel and promises of His

unmerited favor]. His grace is able to build you up and to give you the [rightful]

inheritance among all those who are sanctified [that is, among those who are

set apart for God’s purpose-all believers.

-Commendation to God the Father comes with His glorious care, Counsel and

favor.

- Finishers have the authority in their field and purpose to commend others

in the work of the kingdom.

- Finishers are blessed with much spiritual blessings on the face of the earth.

- Job was given double for his trouble, Peter was given the Holy Ghost and

power to pour on the gentile nation.

The Apostle Paul was given the Author’s anointing to write the work of Christ and align it with the

operations of the church and enforce it through the power of God the Father.

Matthew 25:21 KJV

21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been

faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into

the joy of thy lord.

- The eternal commendation of the finisher. We are given the opportunity of

eternity and rest from our purpose on earth with the entering communicated reward,

“WELL DONE, GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT”.

1 Peter 1:7 7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of

gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise

and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

-Commendation is given when we show up before God: God told Satan have

you considered my servant Job how he upholds his integrity.

-God is boasting on us when we show up in His presence.

-Commendation is given when we uphold our integrity before God and man.

The Finisher has the ability to keep His faith in spite of his down falls in life.

A finisher has the grace to show up even in the most trying of times. Pressing on to the mark of the High calling.

crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at

that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

9 Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me:

YOU ARE A FINISHER LIKE YOUR FATHER JEHOVAH GOD, CHRIST JESUS AND THE HOLY GHOST.
