my YES to God is not limited to other folk opinions about me
as kingdom citizens we have to stop being distracted & taking it personal when others don’t understand what God wants you to do & is doing with you in your life…
CAN I GET AT LEAST 4 PEOPLE WHO REALIZE & UNDERST& that we don’t have time to allow God Leading opportunities to keep passing us by…
Some stuff in our personal life & spiritual life does need to change
There are some of us who are dealing with some circumstances right now & we’ve tried everything that we can try---Don’t Give UP because God is getting ready to work a special miracle in our life.
I’ve just come by here to give you a message of encouragement & hope to let you know that God is not only going to deal with our issues, but we’re going to be better in every way when God gets through Blessing you!”
Luke 8:40-50
One of the reasons we can’t praise God freely is because we don’t have peace in our mind from dealing with our embarrassing issues…I speak to every enemy, every devil, every demonic force - PEACE in the name of Jesus!
I was down, but I wasn’t out. I was in trouble, but I didn’t lose my mind, & I didn’t lose hope.
Here is a woman who is very alone. No one would have wanted to be around her. She couldn’t go out in public. She couldn’t be hugged by her family. Twelve years is a long time to be quarantined from all people! Not only was she considered unclean, but she probably felt it as well, having to deal with the logistics of trying to have clean clothes & linens for twelve years. She had gone to many doctors over the years. She spent everything she had trying to be cured. According to William Barclay’s commentary, the Talmud gave at least eleven possible cures for her ailment. I’m sure that this poor woman had tried all of them. But nothing worked & she even got worse! But check this out---she was also desperate, which can be a very good thing. Desperation keeps self-pity away.
There is a lot of people who feel that God was just not there when they needed Him. They experienced sickness…repossession…foreclosure…death of a loved one or loss…Under circumstances like these, some people begin to wonder, ‘Where is God when I need Him?’
This woman is desperate for healing. So much so that she didn’t worry about what other people would think or at least she didn’t let her worries stop her.
We as kingdom citizens must Know who he is & come boldly with any request you have.
We don’t know her name but what we do know is her issue---Some say the woman was named Veronica---but the Scripture says she was now breaking because she had spent all her money.
Jesus was her last hope so she creeped behind Jesus in the crowd, believing that if he she touched his clothes, she would receive healing.
What we pray for in private God will heal & deliver us from so that others can understand that nobody but God did it…God will allow exposure to happen to separate what is USELESS vs. what is USEFUL
He wanted to acknowledge that she didn’t have to suffer anymore. She was free. Physical healings don’t always happen right away but sometimes they do. So, ask & keep on asking with the faith & determination of the dear woman in this story.
In an instant, Jesus does what no doctor in twelve years had been able to. This proves the power of Christ
When you can see a miracle, it’s easy to believe God for another miracle.
This woman took a huge risk.
God has not moved to punish you. Sometimes God just moves because He’s God.”
Sometimes God moves to develop unexposed powers & abilities within us. He wants us to trust Him, to expand into a new area, which will give us a new testimony. Sometimes God wants to bring glory to Himself in a special way.
Despite the crowd, it seemed that no one else existed in those moments. There is no detail about how long it took for her to tell all that she had experienced. But it did not matter. This story teaches us that when God gives us His attention, he is never multitasking.
The devil always wants to remind you of your past. You are not what was done to you…Stop holding on to that pain…Stop focusing on those kinds of memories that poison your present & poison your future.”
She was isolated from her religious community. For so long she was an outcast. Ostracized. Defined by her disease. Her self-worth would have been trampled on. The isolation would have caused her to get used to being invisible in society.
But Jesus assures her that she belonged to Him. She might have had no one to cover her but now she did. She didn’t have anyone to defend her but now she did. She was unwanted but Jesus claimed her openly. When God heals, your entire life is affected because faith spans all aspects of our being.
If you really knew what God has in store for you, you’d be jumping & shouting & praising the Lord!”
Sometimes you have to push and encourage yourself until you see the change actually take place that you have been praying and believing God for…
Minister Gilstrap you’ve got some work to do…you have everything trying to come against you & block you…judgement on every hand, but God said they can’t touch you…every time they come against you God says there coming against me…they don’t need to understand what’s going on with you…if they have a problem God said tell them to come see me…some folk are worried about the wrong thing…
God said stop crying…pull yourself together…you’ve got a job to do…you see the transformation but sometimes when God’s transforming us sometimes, we don’t see where we came from but as the old song says when I look back over my life & I begin to think things over my soul looks back & wonder how I made it over…cause it was nothing that you did…it was all God…
For every trial you’ve faced, God set it up to bring you through. & when you come through, you’re going to set off a praise
Know that it’s not about what you are not or what you aren’t doing right in your life. It’s about where your heart is in your interaction with God.
JAMES 1: 2 My friends, be glad, even if you have a lot of trouble. 3 You know you learn to endure by having your faith tested. 4 But you must learn to endure everything, so you will be completely mature & not lacking in anything. 12 God will bless you, if you don't give up when your faith is being tested. He will reward you with a glorious life,[b] just as he rewards everyone who loves him.
A lot of people believe in God, a lot of people go to some sort of church & many people say they are a kingdom citizen but It’s easy to say you believe in God in the workplace, it’s another thing to say you have a personal relationship with Him through His son Jesus Christ.
Faith must be accompanied by belief. It is not enough to believe in God, we must have faith/trust in God. If we do not have faith in God, then we are not much better than the non-believer.
These testing times are meant to make us stronger, not defeat us
I can't do much without God's help.
While all of this is going on, Jairus, has requested that the Lord go to his daughter who is dying. Instead of showing a sense of urgency & running to the dying girl, the Lord is delayed & takes the time to heal & interact with the woman. Now the word comes that the girl has died, it seems like it is too late, don’t bother the Lord anymore. But what is the Lord’s reaction? He goes to the dead girl anyway. “She is not dead. She is sleeping.” When we die, it is not forever. It is not the end of all things
Here was a woman who had sorrow after sorrow & trouble on top of trouble. It is great trials that push us to God… troubles often make us complain, whine…u better keep your eyes on Jesus… She put her faith into action & was healed instantly. Her healing was both physical & spiritual. She used her feet & her fingers to exercise her faith.
None of us knows what the rest of 2022 has in store for us. We have an upcoming election in November, the economy is said to be in a recession---gas prices are still high, there is still talk of wars happening, & companies are laying people off…people still trying to get rich on the lotto & while others you seem to have it all are giving up & committing suicide…. But considering all that, there is hope through Jesus, hope in God. God still has the whole world in His hands. God knows the plans He has for us.
Some folks when asked are they going to heaven will say, “I hope so.” Where is the anticipation, expectation, & confidence in that reply? Perhaps they have not got their ticket yet because they think they must buy it… But I am so glad that Jesus has already purchased my ticket to heaven on the cross of Calvary. All I had to do is repent & receive it
If it wasn’t for Jesus, we would be some messed up people

In the beginning when we are introduced to her, all we feel for her is pity. By the time the story is over, we are rejoicing with her…
Turn to ya neighbor- your story isn’t over
Hold on to your faith, hold on to your hope & hope will keep you alive & your faith will please God & bring you through.
Be not dismayed whatever betide---God will take care of you.
When you stay focus on what’s important & tap into Jesus---
Strength to push through difficult situations to access a miracle
when they pushed you aside & forgot you Jesus didn’t
