Summary: XIII. Exposing the Roots of Fear XIV. Pulling the Roots of Fear CONCLUSION

XIII. EXPOSING THE ROOTS OF FEAR

There are many areas in which the enemy has used to cause fear to take deep root. These strongholds can be used against a Christian to harass, oppress or depress. It could be physical, emotional, or spiritual assaults that are being made. Finding complete healing for your body, mind, and spirit requires exposing these strongholds to deliver you from the damage caused. We have learned that worry, anxiety, stress, and depression are rooted in fear. Fear has its roots in a lack of Trust. Lack of trust has its roots in PRIDE!

A. Fear is the primary weapon of the enemy.

He is a master at using our fears

1. Satan uses two common fears to cause many people never to start or try anything to make us ineffective in our witness

a. The fear of failure can cause you to put things off. You will do everything you can to avoid facing the possibility of messing up.

b. Fear of rejection will make you afraid to do anything that could draw criticism or give someone a chance to laugh at you.

Ex: What will they think of me?

What if I turn them off?

What if I mess up?

They probably won’t listen to me anyway!

You’ve failed many times, although you may not remember. You fell the first time you tried to walk. You almost drowned the first time you tried to swim, didn’t you? Did you hit the ball the first time you swung a bat? Heavy hitters, the ones who hit the most home runs, also strike out a lot.

B. Pride

1. Pride always emphasizes what you have done and fails to acknowledge all those who made it possible.

To humbly acknowledge God and others in every success will help protect you against spiritual attack. Pride is why satan was thrown out of Heaven, Adam and Eve were thrown out of the Garden, and Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed.

The Scripture solemnly warns that "pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall." (Prov 16:18 NIV) m

Jesus sent 72 disciples to go into all the towns ahead of Him to fulfill the Great Commission. They came back with great joy because they had healed the sick and cast out many demons. But Jesus warned them of the danger of becoming proud because of the authority He had given them “to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy.” He admonished them not to focus on what they have done but on worshipping God; “do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven." (Luke 10:17-20 NIV)

“Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself “ (Phil 2:3 NKJV)

2. We are to consider everyone, including those who hate us, have hurt us, know less than us, work for or under us, better than ourselves.

3. To find healing and deliverance, you must submit yourself “one another, and be clothed with humility.” (1 Peter 5:5-6 NKJV).

4. God hates “A proud look” (Prov 6:16-19)

5. God always “sets himself against the proud, but he shows favor to the humble." To “Resist the Devil” so that “ he will flee from you,” you must “humble yourselves before God” (James 4:6-7).

C. Gossip and Malicious Talk

Gossip and malicious talking are warned against in 1 Timothy 3:11, 2 Timothy 3:3, and Titus 2:3.

1. To keep demonic attacks from your life, you must avoid malicious and derogatory remarks about anyone. Solomon declared,

"A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit" (Proverbs 15:4).

2. What you say can bring either a blessing or a curse. It is very important to watch what you say and how you say it.

Jesus said, "But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned" (Matthew 12:36-37).

If you have been hurt by gossip or malicious talk and the memory is still vivid, forgiveness is the only remedy that will bring healing and deliverance.

3. Words can cause wounds that “go down into the innermost parts of the belly" (Proverbs 18:8) and be hidden from conscious memory.

4. These hidden hurts can often wreak havoc in your life without you even understanding the source.

5. You must pray for the Holy Spirit to search your heart to find “anxious thoughts.” He will show you if “there is any offensive way” that could be the root of this stronghold. (Ps 139:23-24 NIV)

D. Disobedience

1. The Bible makes it pretty clear that those who do not obey God’s commands or share His love are “children of the devil” and subject to the curses of the enemy’s control (1 John 3:10).

God declared that His people were to do all He commanded and follow all that was in His statutes. If they did not obey all, they would become subject to many curses, as described in Deuteronomy 28:15-68.

2. Disobedience will open you to enemy attacks and even shipwreck your faith.

By being obedient, you will always have “a conscience void of offense toward God, and toward men" (Acts 24:16) and be able to “Cling tightly to your faith in Christ” to “keep your conscience clear.” (1 Tim 1:19 NLT)

E. Anger

1. Holding on to hurts and not fully forgiving the offender can open the door for bitterness to take root in your life.

"Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil" (Ephesians 4:26-27).

2. Uncontrolled anger and unresolved anger have caused immense human misery.

3. Anger can diminish parts of God’s protection around your life.

4. You must never “let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold." (Eph 4:26)

a. Whenever you are angry longer than one day, you can open yourself to the enemy to make a stronghold.

"Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled" (Hebrews 12:15).

b. It can create a foothold for the enemy to attack you in other areas of your life unrelated to the events that caused your anger.

5. You can avoid and even stop the attacks by offering forgiveness.

6. In every aspect of life, both past and present, no feelings of anger should be kept overnight because they can degenerate into bitterness and resentment, and even hatred.

F. Discontentment

Solomon wrote, "Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied" (Proverbs 27:20). When you “obey and serve.”

1. Jesus promised you would spend the rest of your life in “prosperity” and “contentment.”

2. If you are unhappy with what God has given you or commanded you to do, you open yourself up to severe attack.

3. Those who are never satisfied “will perish by the sword and die without knowledge.” (Job 36:11-12 NIV)

Paul instructs Timothy how to live his life in such a way as to “have a good reputation with outsiders.”

4. Having a reputation of being content with what you have and living a clean life will keep you from falling into “disgrace and into the devil's trap” (1 Tim 3:7 NIV).

G. Ignorance

1. Lack of understanding, or ignorance, caused by not diligently studying the Bible can open you up to false doctrine.

"Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the traditions of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ" (Colossians 2:8).

2. Lack of study can give opportunity for the enemy to take away what truth you may have already heard. It is vital that your understanding increase.

Jesus told a story that illustrates this danger. “A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up.” (Matt 13:3-4 NIV)

The enemy is like a bird that takes away the Word of God (seed) from people who do not understand it. Their lack of understanding of truth is used to rob them of what they have already heard.

3. You are to “Study to shew thyself approved unto God” to clearly understand “the word of truth.”

4. Daily reading of the Bible is of utmost importance for your spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being.

5. When you study the Bible in-depth, you will be able to “shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness” (2 Tim 2:15-16 KJV),

H. Sins of the Family

1. Strongholds can be found in generations past.

Suppose there was a family history of some form of idolatry found in religions such as Buddhism, Hinduism, Shintoism, etc. Rebellion, the breaking of vows, greed, immorality, impurity, or gluttony can also create strongholds. Mind-altering alcohol or drug use, the practice or participation in such things as séances, fortune telling, astrology, Quiji Boards, Voodoo, or Astral Projection can all create strongholds difficult to detect.

Paul wrote to the Galatians, "A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump" (Galatians 5:9).

2. The enemy crouches in wait as a wild animal, ready to kill its prey when the opportunity presents itself.

“But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it." (Gen 4:7 NIV)

You need to clear your conscience from family sins of the past and personal sins committed, whether years ago or just moments ago, even if they seem small or trivial. Generational sins of the past are often a source of current demonic oppression. Even those personal little “trivial” sins are often overlooked as a foothold from which attacks can be made.

I. The Wounded Heart

a. A wounded heart occurs when someone or something brings hurt to your emotions.

"The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly." (Proverbs 26:22)

“But you, O Sovereign LORD, deal well with me for your name's sake; out of the goodness of your love, deliver me. For I am poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.” (Psalm 109:21-22 NIV)

“The human spirit can endure a sick body, but who can bear it if the spirit is crushed” (Prov 18:14 NLT)

“For I am poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.” (Psalm 109:22 KJV)

b. Sources Of Hurts:

1. Offense brought to us from others. (People say and do things to hurt us) Prov 18:8.

2. Our sinful behavior. (Psalm 25:18, Prov 17:19, 2 Sam 24:10)

3. A tragedy where the experience overcomes you. (Job 3:25-26.)

4. Sins of our forefathers. (Ex 34:6-7).

5. Drug and alcohol use. (Prov 23:29-35).

6. Occult involvement. (Lev 20:6).

c. Hurts, Never Go Away!

1. Time will not bring complete healing to them. Whenever you remember the experience, you feel the hurt.

Some people will even block out their memory so that they won't have to face feeling the hurts, but they are still there.

J. Symptoms Of A Wounded Heart

Physical (Prov 17:22) Mental (Prov 18:14) Spiritual (Matt 18:34)

Nerve disorders Depression Nightmares

Allergies Fits of anger and rage Hearing voices

Stomach problems Confusion Seeing unusual things

Heartaches Various fears Shyness

Lack of self-control Insomnia

Dominance

K. The Ways People Respond

a. Some people respond by backing away from the situation to allow time for healing.

b. They often turn inward and brood over their hurts.

The hurts become like a big sore rising, just waiting for someone to prick it with a sharp word, then out comes all the corruption of anger, bitterness, hate, revenge, and fear. The rejection they then receive brings more hurt.

Other people respond by immediately striking back, trying to balance their hurt with anger and revenge, or by trying to protect themselves from further hurt to allow time for healing. However, scar tissue (hardness of the heart) soon appears. As they enter into relationships, they are rejected for their hardness and receive more hurt.

L. God's Provision

a. God cares about your broken heart. (Psalm 34:18, 51:17).

b. God healed David's heart, and He will also heal yours. (Psalm 147:3, Heb 13:8).

c. Jesus was sent to heal the brokenhearted. (Luke 4:18).

d. Jesus suffered all the hurts that one could suffer. (Isa 53:1-12, John 1:11, Luke 22:57, 23:35-37, Matt 27:46.)

e. Through the suffering of Jesus, God has provided healing for your hurts. (Isaiah 53:5).

f. God desires to heal your hurts. (I Peter 5:7).

g. God must have control of your whole heart before He can heal it. (Jeremiah 29:13, Revelation 3:20)

M. Steps Of Preparation

a. You must give your heart to Jesus, letting Him become your Lord. (Lord = ruler) (Rom 10:9, Phil 2:9-10)

b. If you have offended someone, you must confess your offense and ask them to forgive you. (Matt 5:23-24, 1 Peter 3:16). You must forgive (release) the person who has hurt you. (Matt 6:12,14-15.)

c. You must put their judgment into God's hands and then ask God to forgive them for their offense toward you. (Luke 23:24, Acts 7:60).

d. You must yield your rights to God (possessions, respect, family, expectations). (Matt 19:21, 1 Peter 5:5-6, Luke 18:20, Mark 8:34-37, Psalm 119:165.)

WARNING: A wounded heart that doesn't receive healing is an open door for evil spirits. (Eph 4:26-27, 1 Peter 5:8, Gen 4:4-7, Matt 18:21-35)

XIV. PULLING THE ROOTS Of FEAR

A. How to Receive Healing for a Wounded Heart

1. Make a list of your hurts.

2. Begin with the greatest first.

3. Ask God to cleanse your heart of all wrong attitudes (anger, bitterness, lust, unforgiveness, hate, revenge). (Isa 1:18, 51:10, 1 John 1:9.)

4. Picture your experience of being hurt in your mind.

5. Now picture Jesus suffering the same hurt for you and overcoming it with His death and resurrection (1 Peter 2:24).

6. Next, picture in your mind the resurrected Jesus offering to heal you (Luke 4:18-19.)

7. In faith, ASK God to heal your heart in the name of Jesus. (Ez 36:26, John 16:23.)

NOTE: You should ask the Holy Spirit to reveal other hurts in your life so they may also be healed (Psalm 139:23-24).

B. Your Ministry Of Healing

As God heals your hurts, He will also give you a tender heart that will be sensitive to the hurts of others (Ez 36:26, 2 Cor 5:18; Mark 5:19).

Remember that God can change that which was meant for evil into good.

(Gen 50:20, Deut 23:5, Rom 8:28, 1 Peter 5:8-10, 2 Cor 1:6.)

1. ASK God to give, and fill you with the Holy Spirit, His love, and His grace so you can share the healing you received with others so they may be healed (Luke 11:1-13; Eph 3:17-20; Heb 4:16; John 7:37-38).

2. Claim Luke 4:18-19 for yourself.

"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor." (Luke 4:18-19 NIV)

3. Share the content of this article with a hurting friend. (Matt 10:8.)

(Note: The material in this section was adapted from Bringing Every Thought Captive, Vol.1, copyrighted, 1996, by Basil Frasure)

C. Holiness

The first and most crucial step in breaking the enemy's strongholds is to walk in holiness. Holiness comes through walking in humility.

Spiritual authority is given to those who commit to living “holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat (2 Peter 3:11-12 NIV)

"To everyone who overcomes-who to the very end keeps on doing things that please me-I will give power over the nations.” (Rev 2:26-27 TLB)

1. To break the strongholds, you must “throw off your old evil nature and your former way of life, which is rotten through and through, full of lust and deception.”

2. The Holy Spirit will renew your “thoughts and attitude’s.” and cause you to display God’s nature which is “righteous, holy, and true” (Eph 4:20-32 NLT).

D. Praise and Worship

Nothing does more to block the enemy's advancement than living each day with a thankful heart in praise and worshiping our glorious Lord. The enemy is always trying to distract and ensnare. He wants to lure us away from worshipping God. His primary method is unforgiveness.

E. Watch

“Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings.” (1 Peter 5:8-9 NIV)

Watchfulness is the first line of defense against the enemy. In daily life, situations arise that may be a direct attack of the enemy, such as a driver of a car that cuts you off and causes anger to well up in you or your spouse saying or doing something to hurt or irritate you. Being self-controlled and alert in prayer will help keep you from falling into temptation.

"Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance . . . ." (Eph 6)

F. Resist

When you feel the pressure of temptation to worry, become anxious, get stressed, or feel depressed, "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." (James 4:7 NIV)

Resisting the devil so that he will flee from you is more than just saying "no." A condition must first be met for the devil to flee from you. You must first "submit" yourself to God.

G. Repent

1. Confess your sins.

Why is confession of sin so important to your healing? Because sin kills!

"For the wages of sin is death" (Rom 6:23)

2. Thank God for forgiving you of your sins and iniquities and believe what 1 John 1:9 says – HE cleanses you from all your sins and iniquities.

3. Don't BEG for forgiveness; it was already given at the cross. Simply confess and receive forgiveness

Our job is to confess, and God's job is to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

"If my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and turn from their wicked ways and seek my face, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land." (Jer 13:27 NIV)

(Our sins destroy "things" around us, our land, homes, etc. There is a connection between sins and circumstances, sins and health (2 Chron 7:14, Deut 28, Jer 5:25).

H. Renounce

1. Turn from your sins and renounce the kingdom of darkness.

"When evening came, many who were demon possessed were brought to him and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick." (Matt 8:16 NIV)

When you read the gospels, you discover that about one-fourth of Jesus' ministry was dedicated to casting out evil spirits. He was dealing with ordinary Jewish people who lived according to the law, paid their tithes, and lived clean lives, yet they had spirits to be dealt with.

We are today in the same boat. That is why many Christians are sick. You cannot have the benefits of God and dabble in the occult, or any form of mind control, ESP, Ouiji boards, Tarot cards, or horoscopes, not to mention witchcraft and Satanism. If you have participated in any of these things at any time, you need deliverance before healing is possible. You confess this sin and receive God's forgiveness, then RENOUNCE it like any other sin.

2. Develop a perfect hatred toward the sin in you, NOT toward yourself.

“I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do-this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.” (Rom 7:18-20 NIV)

I. Take Responsibility

“But the LORD God called to the man, "Where are you?" He answered, "I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid." And he said, "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?" The man said, "The woman you put here with me--she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it." Then the LORD God said to the woman, "What is this you have done? "The woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate." (Gen 3:9-13 NIV)

1. It's time to stop blaming others for your life.

It's time to stop blaming others for how things turned out. Don't justify your sins. Simply say, “Here I am, Lord, to let you know I know what I have done, thought, or said. I have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” Name each one and what they have done to you. Admit where you are in life.

Don't run and hide in the bushes any longer. Adam ran into the bush and hid because of His sin. And because he ran and hid from God, look where he ended up? We have a loving heavenly Father who only wants to free us from everything that hinders us. But we must take responsibility for our outcomes, sins, and situations. Even if you were a victim, you must let God heal those past things, leave them there, and move on. You need to take responsibility from this day forward.

J. Submit Yourself To God

1. Submitting to God means laying aside your agendas and aspirations so that you will do His will.

By submitting, you are, in essence, surrendering all to Him. You are saying, "You know what is best for me," and, "Not my will, but Yours be done."

2. Spiritual authority is given to those who commit their lives to holiness.

“Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat.” (2 Peter 3:11-12 NIV)

It doesn't matter what someone does to you or why something happened to you. What matters is how you respond to it. Even in those times of suffering, you "should commit" yourself to your "faithful Creator and continue to do good" (1 Peter 4:17-19).

You will never be able to “resist the devil” and have complete victory unless you surrender yourself totally and completely to the will of God. Satan finds much pleasure when you don’t forgive and when there is no reconciliation with those who have hurt you or whom you have hurt.

K. Focus On The Good Report

1. Just as Joshua and Caleb declared a good report (Num 14:6-9 NIV), don’t focus on the enemy, focus on Jesus.

2. It is God who delivers us from the evil one!

3. Spiritual warfare is won through intimately knowing the Lord and ruler of the universe through worship and prayer.

a. Jesus taught in the Lord's Prayer that you are to worship Him, rely upon Him, and forgive others as He has forgiven.

b. He will deliver you from evil (Matt 6:9-13 NIV). When you focus your heart on God's love through worship, “he will make you strong and guard you from the evil one” (2 Thess 3:3-5 NLT). Jesus will “keep you from falling” and will ” present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy.” (Jude 20-24 NIV)

“Happy are those who are strong in the Lord, who want above all else to follow your steps. When they walk through the Valley of Weeping, it will become a place of springs where pools of blessing and refreshment collect after rains! They will grow constantly in strength, and each of them is invited to meet with the Lord in Zion. (Psalm 84:5-7 TLB)

L. Forgiveness Is The Strongest Weapon You Have Against The Enemy.

1. **It is absolutely mandatory that you forgive EVERY person who has hurt you, no matter what they have done to you.

You can’t expect healing and freedom from your fear if you do not forgive.

Jesus said, “if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” (Matt 6:14-15 NIV)

2. Nothing does more to block the enemy's advancement than the praise and worship of a thankful heart that is living forgiven.

a. The enemy is always trying to distract and ensnare.

b. He wants to lure us away from worshipping God.

c. His primary method is through unforgiveness.

3. You overcome the enemy “by the blood of the lamb” through forgiveness and:

4. Your “testimony” by living a life of repentance and humility, esteeming ALL others (including those who have hurt you) more highly than yourself, and laying down your life for others;

“for they did not love their lives but laid them down for him.” (Rev 12:11 TLB - See also Rev 2:4-7, 14-17)

CONCLUSION

Freedom from fear will come when you begin Living Forgiven. Letting go of ALL your cares and giving them to Jesus by dying to self will open the Flood Gates of blessings and abundant life.

You are not born with your fears; they are not who you are destined to be. The invisible scars you have carried from past experiences can only stay if you allow them to do. They cannot exist if you start Living Forgiven and let them go. Remember this great promise of Jesus:

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” (John 14:27 NIV)

The human body and its systems are indeed very complex and profoundly amazing! Human beings have indeed been fearfully and wonderfully made! The Beautiful God designed humans beautifully!

The conception and birth of every human being are miraculous and must always be protected and cherished as a gift from God. Natural marriage was intended for the procreation of the human species and the nurturing of emotionally healthy children in a loving family with a mother and father.

Christians are the temple of God - His dwelling place – the Holy of the Holies - and it requires daily maintenance to stay healthy. The enemy of God can not dwell in His temple!

Daily living and prospering in health is God's will for every Believer! Healing is indeed part of the atoning sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross! It is not God’s will for any Christian to be continually sick.

Remember this vital truth: God’s love is what energizes the entire immune system because God is love.

“Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” (1 John 4:16-18 NIV)

Healthy living, free from sickness and disease, is possible! The strongholds of stress, worry, anxiety, depression, and fear can be broken! A person doesn’t need a “faith healer” to receive a healing. They just need to walk IN faith in order to stay healthy by trusting God with every cell of their being.

Because sin entered into human DNA through the Fall in the Garden of Eden, it is now in every human being born on this planet. The sinful nature exists in EVERYONE! Christians are in fact, ‘saved’ sinners. Over time, the effects of sin will take its toll on the human body as cellular entropy takes place daily - ultimately leading to death - no matter how much faith a person has, how healthy they eat, or how much they do have to work out at the gym.

A person can help slow the process down by following God’s plan in this book and taking care of the body by eating right, getting plenty of sleep, drinking healthy liquids, and doing daily exercise. Most importantly, they can experience a joy-filled, healthy life by living in trusting-faith moment by moment with each breath taken.

Living at least 120 healthy years on this planet is possible! God’s word, the Bible, is the true nutrition for the spirit, mind, and body! Yet, when all is said and done, there will always be times when a loved one is challenged with health issues. The simple truth is that are no easy answers to the struggles of this life - except one - JESUS is the answer! Someone once told me that the best way to overcome grief and anguish is to find a joy greater than the pain. The greatest joy is JESUS!

Learning to live a healthy life is not just about how to stay healthy or when disease and sickness come, to obsess over figuring out what or who is to blame.

The best way to avoid a premature breakdown of the body is to diminish the effects of stress, anxiety, worry, and depression that are a part of living in this sin-filled world by trusting the Beautiful God with every atom of one’s being.

Ultimately, simply Jesus alone matters because it is ALL about Him. He is looking for those who will trust Him – no matter what! That is the real secret of how to live and prosper in health! I believe God’s mercies are new every morning because we must learn to trust Him every new day, breath by breath!

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” (Lam 3:22-23 ESV)
