And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me. And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so. And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces. He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan; And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the Lord God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over. INTRODUCTION:
Elijah told Elisha that was a HARD THING, a double portion of the anointing is a HARD THING. 2 Kgs 2:9.
But then a Window was created for the actualisation of that request and that window is illustrated with the word "NEVERTHELESS".
It may be hard nevertheless certain things been observed would turn things around. It will change the story.
I do not know the years, months and days in this year has been. It may just simply be characterised as HARD.
What is the opposite of HARD stuff? The opposite is the stuff that is SOFT. In our contemporary understanding, hard things means difficult things, things that had been depleted, things you just have no clue about, no solution, no insight.
There are levels of hardness, some people the hardness of the hard situation will just be the doctor announcing go home and get ready to die, that is a hard stuff.
You are in some such of deal and the deal was promising and all of a sudden the deal fell apart. God gave me a word for you no matter how hard or the situation have been there is a good news and the good news is found in Luke 2:10-11.
This message may not resonate to sum up with everyone. There mighty be people who did not know harness. Weather you are going through what we described as hardness or not, this message should resonate with you it says "FEAR NOT ". This is the season of good news, it will change whatever has been. In the Name of Jesus has God changed in the physical realm so it will also align in the spiritual realm. God is transforming (amen). Even if the situation is that hard nevertheless God will make a way.
Physical Hardness can be, maybe you have been married for several years and no child. No job. So many problems in life. The word of the Lord is "FEAR NOT ".
Mark 4:35-41. Whatever nature of the hardness (situation)Jesus is about to speak to that hardness. In the name of Jesus the hardness will hear the voice of God and give way.
Genesis 18:1- This is 1st class hardness. When it does not make sense that is when it make sense. When it comes from the Lord. Abraham was in the midst of a hard situation. In spite of the promises of God and what God has said to him. God decided to un-pause what physically has had paused. Maybe, your hardness is as a result of combinations of factors but God is over what ever factor and God will deal with all of those issues in Jesus name.
1John 3:8b. For what purpose? This purpose of handling hardness, hardship. The Almighty God sent Jesus to handle the hardness, difficult you are going through and He is going to do what the Lord has assignment Him to do in your life.
For Some People am going to take you on a journey that represents the hardship and how you have been moving from one point to the other trying to find solution. 1 Sam 9:2-5, in this story Kish was a wealthy man plenty of asses. Some of our journey started at a journey. Since the journey started you have become like a rolling stone there have not been any end, you keep rolling, rolling in expectation you will run into solution.
I want to announce to you that you will come to your "Zuph". You will come to an end of the situation in the name of Jesus. The First point m where Saul consulted is Mount Ephraim in search of the asses. You probably started your journey in one place and have been to everywhere in search of help.
You are not alone, Saul also went after his Father's asses. So he graduated moved on to "Shalishah". In search of solution, they went to "Shaalim". To mount Benjamin in search of solution. Maybe, your case is a medical solution and you have consulted one medical expert but help has not come like the woman with the issue of blood for 12 years. In the name of Jesus, you will get into the land of "Zuph" is a land of '

(2) Is a land of 'Restoration'
(3) is a Land of ' Recovery.
To wrap it all Zuph is a land of honey. In the name of Jesus I do not know how it will be, I do not have to know how it will be, God did not called me to know the A. B. C. of Him, He merely called me to have faith in Him. Heb. 11:6. God can changed the people around you. He can introduced you to people whom you need to know. He can step down people who are not valuable and relevant so that people who have value in your life can come up. Whatever has been your journey in the past years. Whosever believe in God, God will glorify His name in such individual. 1 John 5:4. God will rescue us from whatever situation. No matter the hardness, God will rescue you take you out of the hardness in the name of Jesus (Amen)
Jer. 32:27, nothing too hard for the Lord. Jer, 32:17. No matter the level of hardness is not beyond the God of heaven. Is not above Him. God can deal with it and He will deal with it in the name of Jesus. (Amen).
FIRST LESSON:- 2 Kgs 2:8-15. Elijah said to Elisha ask. God is waiting on us to ask Him. Isaiah 7:11 AMP. God is asking you, putting the entire heaven, He says ask for a token, sign. Do not submit yourself to hardness. Do not give in to hardness.
Psalm 62: 11. Someone would there to ask heaven something. Whatever is it God will overcome that hardness it will not move with you to the another year. (Amen). You will drop it in this year. Have you ask the Lord, and God says is hard? No, as you are asking the Lord the underline scripture is Matt 7:7-12. The lesson in Matt 7:7-12 is that I want you to create panic in heaven if you can with your request. Whatever intimidating request you bring before God. Let there be panic in heaven over your request over the request you make and let God contradict Jer. 32:27. Ask God for an intimidating request so that heaven will say I cannot handle this. God will deal with everything that you ask Him. (Hallelujah).
SECOND LESSON:- God reserve hard situation for Himself to deal with. God will not give an apprentice to handle your situation. He would decide to handle your situation Himself. Why? Because He knows what to do. I settle for God and God will attend to me not any other person. Before this year runs out God will attend to me. Jn 6:5-6.
Jesus knows what to do. He does not need to go to Seminary to know what to do. He does not need a refresher course for understanding of what you are going through. He knows what to do and because He knows what to do He will not give you out to someone else.
He Himself will deal with the situation. You will not carry over your problem only if you will create a panic in heaven with your request. No matter what you are going through as you ask the God of heaven, He will terminate your situation in the name of Jesus.
THIRD LESSON:- after a prolonged season of darkness, comes light. Psalm 30:5 . The Joy not because of £1 billion in your account but the Joy from the Lord is our strength. God will interrupt the situation. Daniel 2:21 . Your hardness will not remain forever. He changes time and season. It is time for a change. God will change your season. The season of hardness has tarry for too long, the season for difficult remain for too long, is time for it to expire. God is about to cause it to expire and to change position for something better. God is working to do that transformation in your life. God is being the business of doing great things. God is alive and He is able. God will come through to you. Nevertheless there is a window. Come to Jesus. It is likely to address your issues from a far off. He wants to be your friend, Lord.
