??Introduction:??
🟦One night, a small, ineffective church caught on fire and burned to the ground.
Several from the community, as well as the church, had gathered to fight the blaze, but to no avail!
It was a total loss.
Looking around at the people gathered there, one church member saw a local man who had always been opposed to the work of the church and who refused to attend church.
The church member said to him, “Well, I never saw you come near this church before.”
“No,” said the man, “but then, I have never seen this church on fire 🔥 either 🟦
💢We met last Sunday night right here for the sole purpose of seeking the Lord in revival.💢
Only He can sent it, I didn't bring it and I can't preach it up and we can't sing it or work it up!.
We need something today that only God can give us. We need some of the things the early church had that we are missing in our day.
Not only do we need some things we need to get rid of some things!
I want to preach a message today I have titled "FLISH IT"
??STAND ~ READ ~ PRAY??
The main person in this narriatve is A young man named Eutychus.
[If you feel out of a window 3 stories down you'da cuss too...LOL]
??? The context. Paul is in the midst of his second missionary journey in Greece. Stops at a samll town named Troas for a week. He goes to church on Sunday to preach.
Now Notice with me some truths The Holy Spirit reveled to me this week in this passage that I know can help us today.
"EVERYBODY SAY FLUSH IT!"

When we flush something we are geting rid of waste? Right?
Before I lead us in to a series of messages "I AM A SIMPLE CHURCH MEMBER."
I must teach what a church member is not. That is
a.] A stay at home attender
b.] A closed mouth congerant. {protect the gospel}
c.] Watcher { you are affirm/call out/ hold accountable}
d.] Don't Care Attitude.[Be conserned of the healt/growth/finanices]
e.] Stay alone [God created you to be together/ We are better together}
f.] Act a fool outside this huse
g.] Not to disrespect/ back bite/ starve/ no compassion for you Pastor.
These are a few trhings a church member is not.
Why Church membership.
1] Membership clarifies that Redemption creates distinction.
God stated this in Ex.11 when He sent the plagues on the Egyptians.
In fact Paul, said "Don't be unequally youked." [marriage] Paul first applied it to church membership. Paul said aging in 1Cor. "We are the temple" orginal language
2] God Himself modled membership
Two months aftwer God redeemed His people He counted them
Numbers 1:1-3
Membership turns the key to the kingdom.
Let me be clear membership will not save you or get you into heaven but it does affirm deny
the gospel proclamation.
Form the very beginning church membership the congeration affirming ones testimony and docrtine of Jesus Christ visibly what Heaven has already seen visibally
The whole idea of church membership is for it to look like Heaven Here. [we are along way from it]
How do we get to being this knid of church member? YOU FLUSH SOME THINGS!
🟣1.} FAKE WORSHIP (John 4:21-24)
Notice there was nothing fake about Eutuchus worship. He was in church at midnight
MIDNIGHT HOUR
John 4:21-24 (NKJV) ?21 Jesus said to her, "Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."
In diffirent translations s is cap in some lower case in others. When you study this out you will fing in is almost near impossible to differinate the two between mans spirit of Gods spirit.
Here is the thing - You can not worship in Spirit without the Holy Spirit being present.
You can not worship in Thruth without the Holy Ghost touching you.
Stop hindering the Holy Ghost of God ! Let Him in this place! raise your hands and open your mouth beg Him to come and sit dowen with us and WORSHIP!
FLUSH YOU FAKE WORSHIP!

🟣2.} FOOLISHNES (REVELATION 4:1-11)
Eutychus - No foolishness in him - sitting in window - focused on Paul the Preacher - Some scollars believe he fell asleep from the fumes from the lamps.
Nope! Not me! I belive he was overcome with the Holy Ghost and fell out!
Now the foolishness I am talking about is not horse play or acting some kind of crazy.
No! not at all. The foolishness I am speaking of is
? Distractions
Let me help you right here - Jesus in Gospel of John started a new woship revalution!
You see in the OT worshiped always looked like something being killed / prepared / placed on and altar and burned.
Jesus said that people meaning Jew and Gentile would worship in Spirit and Truth.
What did He mean?
He meant the foolishness of man and the foolishness of not knowing who the Lamb of God is
Some of you have such a wacked view of who the Lamb of God is you are eaisly distracted in your worship!
want raise hands / want cry out / want bring your sin to the altar of God and let Him deal with it
You cant worship b/c you thing there is a little lamb on the throne.
Listen ! I stopped by to tell you the lamb was slain for the sin of the world!
On the throne is a Lion ON the THRONE and HE is the Lion of JUDAH!!!
I have people tell me all the time why do you want smoke/fog / lights/movers/flashers and the color??? It's just a distraction!! and they roll their eyes and say or comment " YA'LL JUST WANT TO CREATE A ROCK ATMOSPHERE OR YA'LL TRYING TO MFG. THE HOLY SPIRIT. Or create excitment."
Let me tell what I tell them! "I say go read your bible [it is the book for me]
??REV.4 Tells all we need to know what the throne looks like . READ IT!
The Throne room is not Mauve carpet with blue padded pwes and a picture of on the Cross tattooed to the Bapistry!
So, To answer you question . If where I am going to worship the Lord in the end. looks like that , then you bet your biscuit I an going to eveything I can to make it look like it here.
If I have to - I will arie on the side of excitement.
I would rather calm people down than and put out wild fires [and I will and have ]
Than try to wake a valley of dead dry bones!
A person worsipping in Spirit and Truth will never be distracted by nothing b/b their focus is on the Throne and the one on it!!
??Galatians 5:16-26 (NKJV) ?16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. ?17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. ?18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. ?19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, ?20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, ?21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. ?22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ?23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. ?24 And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. ?25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. ?26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

🟣3.} FALSE PROPHECY ( Acts 20:9-10)
Eutychus - fell 30+ feet down to the cobblestone street. All the Nasayeras and eye rollers said he is dead.. But God... Paul new who he worshipped / he knew who was inside him / Paul knew who was in that room 30' feet up and waht overcome the boy. Paul knew the boys life was in him.
Listen to what God told Ezekiel to tell the false prophets.
??Ezekiel 13:1-3 (NLT2) ?1 Then this message came to me from the LORD: ?2 “Son of man, prophesy against the false prophets of Israel who are inventing their own prophecies. Say to them, ‘Listen to the word of the LORD. ?3 This is what the Sovereign LORD says: What sorrow awaits the false prophets who are following their own imaginations and have seen nothing at all!’
Just like the Prophet Elijah someone will always be wanting to pour water on your fire!
??2 Kings 1:10-12 (NKJV) ?10 So Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, "If I am a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men." And fire came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty. ?11 Then he sent to him another captain of fifty with his fifty men. And he answered and said to him: "Man of God, thus has the king said, 'Come down quickly!' " ?12 So Elijah answered and said to them, "If I am a man of God, let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men." And the fire of God came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty.
Do not let the false prophets of today who are so caught up in their tradition stop you from worshiping!!
Flush It!!!
They don't know the hell you have been through to get where you are and waht it costed.
A false prophet will always do their best to stop you from giving more than a tieth when you want to give a blessing or pour out an expensive amout of worship!
he will always make you think people are watching you so you will tahe your eyes of the throne !!
This is for all the false prophets who have given you false prophecy in your life !!!
