PREFACE SUMMARY
Dear reader, it has been on my heart now for several days to write a message about how to experience the glory of God and the main phrase that comes to my mind is “When everything fails such as positions, fame or money in which man may glory, the foundational stones of truth, love and God's mercy will still be standing.”
Beloved we all know that one of God’s attributes besides mercy is love and we discover in (1 John 3:14) “We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.”
Saints, if we do a study on the word glory, we will discover that there is a glory of man and there is a glory of God, therefore beloved, what is the correct description that we can use to define the glory of God, and beloved, to answer that question, we need to seek him for ourselves, for the word states that "Christ's presence in us is the hope of Glory," because once his Spirit enters our life, our conscience is purged from dead works to serve the living God. (Colossians 1:27-28) (Hebrews 9:14)
(Isaiah 42:8) “I am the Lord, that is my name, I will not give my glory to another, nor my praise to graven images.”
Beloved, we can safely say that God's glory is his honor, his splendor and dignity which defined is his way of life.
Beloved reader, to catch a glimpse of God's glory, we could use our imagination and see a young girl sitting in a church workshop drawing a photo of Jesus and somebody walking by would notice her photo as it starts to take shape. They would ask her young lady, what are you attempting to draw and her innocent reply would be, “I’m drawing a picture of Jesus.” They would then respond without thinking that they were speaking to a young child who has feelings but respond anyway with, “You can’t draw a picture of Jesus because no one has ever seen him or even know what he actually looks like.” The young little innocent girl would the reply, “It don’t matter if anybody has ever seen him, when I get finished with my picture, everybody is going to know what Jesus looks like.”
Beloved, I like to look at that illustration as “seeing Jesus through the eyes of a child and Saints, we can learn from that situation that our whole life as a Christian is being lived in front of others and my sincere prayer is that when God get’s through with using my mind, my heart and the words which shall be embedded in this message, everybody is going to experience the glory of God and realize how important it is to our Christian life.
Saints, did you know there are books out about the 1906 Azusa street revival that started under William Seymour, by authors that viewed eyewitnesses speaking of the glory cloud that would fill the church so thick that the children would actually play in it?
Beloved, God's people had just come out of seventy years of captivity and we find them standing here before the man of God as he speaks of the workers laying the foundation of the second temple.
Saints, the writer in Ezra speaks that there may be some of you standing here that witnessed the glory that was in the first temple, but how do you see it now, and do you remember the day that the smoke filled the temple and the gradual decline into sin that caused the temple to be destroyed and caused us to be prisoners in a strange land?
Beloved, do you remember the people in that land asking us to sing one of our songs from Zion only to hear us reply that we cannot sing the songs of Zion in a strange land as we hung our harps upon the willow trees?
Saints, I pray this message will be used of God to help us regain our focus and realize that God will bring the next revival and not man for the word states that "Thy people shall be willing, in the day of thy power!" (Psalms 110:3)
SHOW ME THE GLORY
(Exodus 33:15-16) (15) “And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.” (16) “For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the Earth.”
(Exodus 33:17-19) (17) “And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name.” (18) “And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.” (19) “And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.”
(Exodus 33:20-23) (20) “And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.” (21) “And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:” (22) “And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:” (23) “And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.”
Beloved reader, please take not of these verses for the whole thought for this message centers around these scriptures because Moses was not content with just experiencing God’s presence but he had a desire to walk in the glory, and remember beloved, when he came down from communing with God, the people had to place a veil over his face because his face is said to have arrows of light protruding from it.
Saints of God, God instructed Moses that no man may look upon him and live but we find him in (Exodus 24:9-11) that God came down and did eat and drink with Moses and the seventy elders that had sanctified themselves before the Lord.
Dear reader, we find his successor Joshua speaking with God about going into the promised land asking him, ”what good is Canaan without your presence,” because God had informed him that the people are so rebellious that he will not go with him lest he break out with anger on the people therefore beloved, for us to catch a glimpse of the glory, we need to do a study of the valley experiences which are designed to help develop our character and to begin our study, we need to study the life of Elijah.
FROM FAME TO DEFEAT
Beloved reader, just the title of this chapter brings back many unpleasant memories but it was the education gained through those experiences is what has matured me to stand where I am today representing a world-wide ministry founded by the late A.A. Allen carried on by Apostle Don Stewart known as Miracle Life Church International as their International Evangelist.
Saints, we all remember the story found in (1Kings 18:19) & 1Kings 19:3) speaking of Jezebel's reaction after hearing of the slaughter of her prophets, angerly swearing to have Elijah killed, forcing him to flee for his life but was he fleeing for his life or was he fleeing to a place to get direction from God?
Beloved, (James 5:17) gives us a description of this once fearsome man of God stating that he was a man like us who experienced his high days and his low days but in the above scripture concerning the wrath of Jezebel, he was afraid for his life and beloved, have you ever got to a place in your life where you ran out of prayer and was it after a failure or after a successful revival?
Dear reader, did you know that it is not unusual for our prayer life to be affected when we find ourself in trouble, but what about after we have had a mighty successful revival and beloved, what do we do when we run out of faith, allowing fear to paralyze us into doubting the very God who saved us?
Saints, did you know that the way to climb the ladder in the Christian life, is to humble ourself before our God who sees all and knows all for he said in his word that he resisteth the proud, but gives grace to the humble.
(James 4:6)
Beloved Saints, we can look at our problems through God or we can look at God through our problems, therefore beloved, the important question for us would be, is God in front of us or is he behind us?
Beloved, in closing and if we were be honest with ourself, we will have to admit that if we indulge ourself without proper rest into the work of the Lord, we are going to get tired but beloved, there is a great difference in being tired and being tired of the work, therefore may we adhere the words of the apostle Paul when he instructed us to "Press toward the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:13-14)
(Philippians 3:13-14) (13) "Brethren, I count myself to have apprehended; but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before," (14) "I press (stretch) toward the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."
Saints and fellow peers, the bottom line is that we cannot draw from our future if we are still tripped up in our past therefore beloved, may we use our faith to reach into eternity and draw the plan, promises and purposes of God into our present for our destiny is running toward us as fast as we are running toward it.
THE ANGEL KNOWS THE WAY
Saints, we discover after Elijah fled from Jezebel, that he started on a long journey but during that journey, he found himself on the ground asking God to take his life thinking that he had accomplished no more in his life than his forefathers. (1Kings 19:3-9)
Beloved, after making his plea to God, Elijah lay down under the tree and went to sleep only to be awakened by an Angel requesting that he get up and eat which when he looked around, he discovered some bread over hot coals and a jar of water.
Saints, the word says that he ate and drank and lay down again, only to be awakened the second time by the Angel requesting him to eat and drink for the journey is too much for him and beloved reader, this statement found in verse seven gives us some idea that the Angel knew where he was heading which was the mountain of God called Mt. Horeb which means “The Mountain of God-glowing or heat.”
Beloved, this is the same mountain where the ten commandments were given to Moses by God and also the mountain where God placed Moses in the cleft of the rock and allowed him to see his hinder parts is the vicinity where Elijah found himself in a cave.
Dear Saints, the Angel informed him that he need his strength for the journey which was around one hundred miles to Mt. Horeb where he was heading and this beloved, this gives me assurance that he was not altogether running in fear but running to get direction because he had the mistaken idea that he was the only one left that would serve God.
Beloved, if we will do a search on his early ministry, we will discover that many times God would rain fire down from heaven and burn a captain with fifty soldiers sent to take him prisoner until one captain used wisdom and politely asked him if he would surrender to face the king and there were other times that the enemy soldiers surround him and his servant at night causing fear in his servant until God opened his eyes and let him see the invisible army of God which caused God to strike the enemy soldiers with blindness.
Saints of God, this man of God had witnessed the Lord not only protect him from harm, but feed him by the ravens near the brook during the famine therefore my argument would be that he was running to put some distance between himself and Jezebel that he might receive some clear direction from God concerning the threat on his life.
A GLIMPSE OF THE GLORY
Beloved, the story of Elijah assures us that God is waiting around the corners of our failures to bring us to a new level of praying which sometimes may be a prayer without words which is an inward plea for help.
Saints, we discover that Elijah found himself in a cave that was in the vicinity of the area where God placed Moses in the cleft of the rock which sends us a clear signal that not only did the Angel know where he was heading but he himself knew where he was heading and the next occurrences which took place while in the cave gives us a glimpse of the struggle going on in our own life in our attempt to glimpse the glory.
Beloved the word describes in verse eleven that God instructed Elijah to go and stand in the entrance of the cave and the word says that the Lord passed by and there was a strong wind that brake the rocks in pieces but the Lord was not in the wind and after the wind, there was an earthquake followed by a fire but the Lord was not in them.
Saints, after the fire, we discover that there was a still small voice asking him what he was doing there, however beloved, God knew why he was there and gave him directions on what to do before he brought him home to Heaven and beloved, through my Christian pilgrimage on this Earth, I have discovered that once we have had everything fall around us with people walking away that we have helped like we are nothing, with people slandering our name to make theirs look good and everything we have worked so hard to build being torn down by someone we trusted overnight.
Beloved, God’s word states in (Psalms 46:1-4) (1) “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble,” (2) “ Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea:” (3) “Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof selah” (4) “There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most-High.”
Dear Saints, our God is a faithful God who honors his word above his name and we can rest assured that when we face life’s many trials, we will not have to face them alone and during those trials, we will discover that God is around the corner making our bed and preparing us a meal for when we come out of this dilemma, we are going to hear his voice and have the anointing dripping off of us for like the three Hebrew children that went through the fire and came out unscathed not even smelling like smoke, we are going to discover that before we went through the fire, we had the fire in us and the glory is in the anointing.
EXPERIENCING THE GLORY
(Isaiah 42:8) “I am the Lord, that is my name, I will not give my glory to another, nor my praise to graven images.”
Beloved, we can safely say that God's glory is his honor, his splendor and dignity which defined would be God’s way of life for beloved, you do not have to go to China to be in China town because there is a place in New York City in the USA that is called China Town and if you go there, you will discover that the culture there is as if you were in China for they have brought the culture and the way of life in China to New York City.
Saints, we find in (2 Corinthians 5:19) that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them and beloved did you know we could use the word “reconsolidate here” which means, “to combine all debts into one” or the better definition of this word would be “recolonize” for man is a mirror image of God on Earth.
Beloved reader, when the Roman government would overtake a kingdom, they did not take prisoners or make slaves out of the people, but trained them in the ways of Rome making them Roman citizens and so is the Kingdom of God.
Beloved, to better understand where we are on God’s circle of time and why this message on the glory of God is so important in our day, we need to do a study of the parable speaking about the man who hired some people in different parts of the day to work to bring in his harvest which can be found in Matthew the twentieth chapter.
(Matthew 20:1-5) (1) “For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire laborers into his vineyard.” (2) “And when he had agreed with the laborers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.” (3) “And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,”(4) “And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.” (5) “Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.”
(Matthew 20:6-7) (6) “And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?” (7) “They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.”
(Matthew 20:8-9) ( 8) “So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the laborers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.” (9) “And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.”
Matthew 20:10-12) (10) “But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.” (11) “And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,” (12) “Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.”
Matthew 20:13) “But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?” (14) “Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.”
Saints, the next revival will be a revival of the glory and I believe the above scriptures give us a glimpse of the mind and plan of God which will be revealed soon.
Beloved, the above parable speaks of a man that hired workers to work in his field to bring in his harvest and notice that he paid the workers that were hired in the last hour as much as he did those that braved the heat of the day.
Saints, notice that in the parable, he made sure to pay the ones that came in on the last first in front of the ones that were hired that morning which shows us that he is attempting not only to show the greed of man but a glimpse of God’s plan for the end-time for the famous late Smith Wigglesworth made a statement that God was going to visit his people in the end time harvest of souls so great that how he used him would be nothing compared how he will manifest his glory in the end time church.
Beloved, according to this parable we can reflect back on the day in the year of 1611 when the honorable King James of England made a decree to place the word of God into the hands of the people.
Dear reader, this precious moment in history was used of God to birth forth ministries such as the Wesley’s, Charles Spurgeon, Whitfield and others in what we call the Word Revival or the Revival of the Word which we will label as Revival number one.
Saints, after the word revival era, we had Smith Wigglesworth, William Branham, Oral Roberts, Kathern Kuhlman, William Seymour, A.A. Allen, Don Stewart, T.L. Osbourne and others in what we call the Power Revival or the revival demonstrating the Power of God through signs, miracles and wonders which we will label revival number two.
Beloved, next following the signs and miracle revival, we had Kenneth Hagen, Kenneth Copeland and others lose all composure and start laughing which brought criticism from the church world.
Saints, according to the parable concerning the man hiring the workers and paying those that come in on the last in front of and paying them as much as those that braved the heat of the day.
Beloved, God is setting the stage for an outpouring of his Spirit which will usher millions into his kingdom and he will give those coming in on the last hour everything that those before us had which will demonstrate the glory anointing through the power of the preached word with signs, miracles and wonders ushering in a joyful sound as souls are delivered from trauma, hurts and depression which causes sickness as lives are touched and changed for eternity by the power of God which will be a revival walking in the glory.

2. The Revival of the Power of Faith
3. The Revival of the Joy
4. The Revival in Experiencing the Glory
MY CONCLUSION
Dear reader, many Kings, peoples and governments have attempted to bring God down to their level in an attempt to convince people that he has lowered his standard but my answer to all would be that according to how he has shown up in history and made himself known even in the founding of this republic called the United States of America, He is the standard that we must measure up to.
Beloved reader, we must not forget that we are living in his Kingdom in the here and now.
Saints, Christ has already defeated Satan and Ephesians says that all Authority has been granted unto him, and beloved, it is Delegated Authority that was given unto him by the Father and he in turn has delegated that Authority unto us.
Church, it is time to wake up to the call and the task that is now upon us and strip ourselves from the love of this world including the love of self, Yes, and turn to the Lord with our whole heart with fasting and our prayers being saturated with our tears until we hear from Heaven.
Saints, let us remember that our view of the Living God will affect our view of our fellow man and remember that the word in (1 John 4:20) says, "How can we say we love God whom we have not seen and hate our brother whom we have seen who is made in his image and likeness?
Saints, it does not matter how strong we may think we are for we all have or will face dark times but beloved, it is in our darkest hour where we will discover we need the most strength, therefore beloved, the power unleashed with the mindset of a made-up mind that will not give in to outside pressure and not give up when things get hard, will serve to strengthen and restore our faith.
Beloved, I close this message with a prayer that we the church which make up the body of Christ here on Earth, will come to the realization that we desperately need a fresh encounter with the Holiness of God which will make us become aware of how dangerous it is to play with sin.
Dear reader may I ask, "why does the world not want what we have to offer?"
Beloved, as long as we think we are right, what need is there for a change and a voice to cry out to a Living God to come and kindle us with fresh revival cleansing fire which will consume and expose sin and its wages for what it is and that beloved, is death both spiritually and physically with eternal separation from God and all that is Holy. Amen.
Beloved, we may make many mistakes, but that does not define who we are for what matters most is that we have the courage to believe (Jeremiah 29:11) "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."
Saints of God, did you know that it is always when we are at our lowest point, beloved, usually just when we are just about to give in, that the miracle happens, therefore saints of the Living God, may we hold on just a little longer for we are nearing the end of the day of grace and his coming may be sooner than we think and remember saints, "the first church had the Spirit on the outside but since the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit ( the Spirit of Jesus or the Sprit that was in Jesus) came to live in the heart of the believer with the soul purpose of conforming us to the image of Christ, that we may be presented to him spotless and without blemish in the event the bible refers to as the bride of the lamb."
