Today, I want to read from the book of Proverbs chapter 29, as I share with you the message, "Vote The Bible". With election season upon us, many of us are sorting through the list of candidates trying to determine who we will vote for. Many of us are looking at the issues at hand. Abortion, same sex marriage, and other political matters. Some of you are registered Republican, some Democrat. Most of you will vote for the candidate the represents your political party. Some of you may jump ship and vote for the other party. But if you really want to know how to vote in our local and national elections, there is only one true way to cast your vote and that is vote the bible.
Many of us have heard the phrase and wonder how we go about doing that. It's simple really. Do not vote for anyone who stands or supports anything the bible is clearly against. Proverbs 6:16-19 says,
16 These six things the Lord hates,
Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:
17 A proud look,
A lying tongue,
Hands that shed innocent blood,
18 A heart that devises wicked plans,
Feet that are swift in running to evil,
19 A false witness who speaks lies,
And one who sows discord among brethren.
The bible is crystal clear about the issues at hand this election. As it pertains to abortion, "The Lord hates hands that shed innocent blood." My friend, there is no blood on the face of this earth that is more innocent than that of an unborn baby in the womb of its mother!
Many people argue that life doesn't begin until X amount of weeks. The bible proves you dead wrong on that issue as well! Psalms 139:16, "For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb."
Jeremiah 1:5, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you;
I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”
Life begins at conception. Not so many weeks after, and certainly not once the child is born. Doctors have confirmed that before birth, a child has a heartbeat, a DNA separate from its mother, eyes, ears, lungs, legs. They eat, they sleep, they move, all of this proves beyond a doubt that the child is in fact a life separate from its mother long before its born!
The main argument against that fact among the world is there should be an exception when it comes to rape and incest. Even if the pregnancy endangers the life of the mother. James Robinson is a well-known evangelist that can be seen on Christian television all over the world. He was conceived through rape. I heard another evangelist give his testimony about how he was conceived through and extra marital affair that his mother had. She tried to abort the pregnancy 3 times before he was born! And she failed every time. He went on to testify that it wasn't until he was born, and she heard his cries that she reached out to him and welcomed her son into the world.
Statistics show that less than 2-3% of abortions in America are performed because of rape, incest, or danger to the life of the mother. In other words, more than 95% of all abortions performed in America are performed out of the vain, self-centered, selfish sin filled actions of the mother! In some cases, the mother is forced into abortion by family or the child's father citing they are not ready for a child or a grandchild. Shame on those families!
Politicians want to argue that it is the constitutional right of the mother to terminate her pregnancy if she so chooses. Many of the protestors rallying to make abortion legal and covered under healthcare love to shout, "My body! My choice!" Really? What would you say if I told you the bible proves you wrong about even that?
1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."
The bible says you are bought with a price. What price? The price Jesus paid on the cross for your sins and mine. The Blood of Christ bought us out of the very hands of death itself! And with that purchase, we belong to God. He paid the price for our redemption! And yet, He still gives us free will. The free will to choose whether we will accept His Son and go to Heaven when we leave this world or if we'll reject Him and burn in Hell forever. So, no. It is not your body. It's God's body. And He has spoken in His Word that we are not to shed innocent blood.
And those who support abortion, support cold blooded murder! And they will stand before God on the Day of Judgment and answer to God for it. And when they stand before Him on that Day, I believe they will all look down and find their hands soaked with innocent blood! And the Lord will judge them for their sins. That's why I say to those who have supported abortion and believe it's your right to choose, repent now! And be redeemed of your sins!
Lady, there is nothing in the constitution that gives you the right to abort a child. I don't care what anyone has told you or what you have been led to believe, it's a lie!!! No one has the right to commit murder and abortion is murder!!! Plain and simple!!!
Now look at what else the bible says God hates. A proud look, a lying tongue, feet that are quick to run to evil, false witnesses, hearts that conspire to do evil. These are the issues we really need to be considering before casting our votes on election day. Read along with me now Proverbs chapter 29,
1 He who is often rebuked, and hardens his neck,
Will suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.
2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice;
But when a wicked man rules, the people groan.
3 Whoever loves wisdom makes his father rejoice,
But a companion of harlots wastes his wealth.
4 The king establishes the land by justice,
But he who receives bribes overthrows it.
How do the righteous come into authority? When the righteous get up, get out and go vote! We have allowed this world to sicken us to the point that we don't even bother voting in the elections anymore. We have become so disgusted with the antics of crooked politicians that we believe our vote won't make any difference. That's exactly what the enemy wants you to believe.
But God is saying to you now, "Vote the bible". "Vote the bible". God is telling His Church that He wants us to go into the world and cast our vote and bring the Gospel our country was founded on back into this country! God wants you to vote. He wants you to make a stand for His Word. He wants you to make your voice heard! And it is our God given duty to do just that! Why? Because if we, the Church of the Living God, do not cast our votes on election day, then the enemy's crowd will be voted in! And when that happens, they will do everything in their power to silence us and evict God from not only our schools and our government buildings. Not just our court houses, but our very homes as well!
It is the mission of the enemy to shut the church down once and for all. And if he can get the politicians that will see to that in office, he will have won! Forget the promises these candidates make, forget what they say they will do, forget about being Republican or Democrat, first and foremost, we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation! We are the people of the Living God and we need to raise our voice to the powers that be in this land! "WE WILL NOT BOW TO SOCIALISM! WE WILL NOT BEND TO YOUR WILL! WE WILL NOT BE SILENT ANYMORE! JESUS IS LORD!!!"
There was a time when the bible was welcomed in our schools. There was a time when prayer was in school. And there was a time when we stood proudly and placed our hands over our hearts and recited the pledge of allegiance to our country's flag. Now, thanks to people like Madeline O'Haire, that has been stolen from not only us, but our children as well. Our children are being deprived the freedom to express their faith just so we don't offend someone else's faith. How pathetic and self-centered can you get? Just because you don't want your child reading the bible or praying or even saying, "One nation under God", does NOT give you the right to take that privilege away from our children!
Madeline O'Haire was an atheist. She claimed her son was being teased and bullied in school because he did not believe in God. And that could very well be. I was bullied in school myself when I was child so I know how cruel other kids can be. But because her son was supposedly bullied for his beliefs, O'Haire went before the school board, rallied supporters who shared her beliefs and eventually won her case and caused prayer, the ten commandments, and reading the bible taken out of our schools. She stole our children's right to worship the way they chose to worship away from them all because of her misguided beliefs!
The bible says, "The FOOL has said in their heart, there is no God!" I got news for all the Madeline O'Haire's in this world, she may not have believed in God in this life, but I promise you, she believes in Him now more than ever as she burns in Hell's everlasting fire to this day! For those of you who don't know, Madeline O'Haire, her son who was bullied in school, and one other person, I believe it was her granddaughter, were all kidnapped and brutally murdered by a former employee who robbed them. They were killed in the most sadistic methods imaginable. But, brother, that wasn't even a drop in the bucket to what they are experiencing now! Because right now, as sure as I'm sitting here writing this to you, Madeline O'Haire, her son and granddaughter are all burning like they have never burned before in Hell.
Yes, it's a sad and tragic thought, and most people would scold me for even saying it. But the bible is clear on this point. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes unto the Father except through Me." If the O'Haire's didn't believe in God and were so adamant about their beliefs that they caused the Word of God to be taken out of our schools, they caused prayer to be taken out of schools, then I seriously doubt that they changed their opinion when they died. I pray I'm wrong about that and the horror of their pending demise caused them all to repent and cry out to Jesus before it was too late. I sincerely pray that's what happened. But none of us will know until we leave this world and come home to our Jesus. Will we?
The point is, there are so many people like Madeline O'Haire in the world today. And they are running for office in our government. And these people are hell bent on driving God out of our homes, out of our schools, out of our courthouses and out of our very homes! Nothing would please them more than to shut the doors of the church once and for all. And someday, they will do just that! In the great tribulation period, the church will be raptured and we will be gone in the twinkling of an eye.
1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 says, "For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord."
Many people say that the rapture is not in the bible and is thus, a false teaching. But Paul just spelled it out plain as day. No, the world rapture is not in the bible, but the description certainly is. That day is coming. And when it that comes and we are called up to meet the Lord in the air. All the doubters, all the atheists, and all the nay sayers will believe that Jesus is Lord and they will know that the Church tried to warn them. We gave you every chance to repent and receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, but you refused the Word of the Lord. Many people have been given that same chance from God Himself and refused Him. Now, they are in Hell. In agony as the rich man who wouldn't lift a finger to help Lazarus when he was alive. Wishing they had listened when they had the chance.
My friends, we have just seen what the Lord says about those who rule in the land. We have read His Word about what happens when wicked people are voted into office. How the people will groan. Aren't we groaning right now? Aren't we suffering right now? Haven't we had enough already? Vote the bible. Vote the bible. Vote these greedy, unbelieving, self-serving heathen out of office! We have the power to fire them and bring in those who will stand up for the righteousness of God. Vote the bible! Vote the bible! Vote the bible! VOTE THE BIBLE!!!!
Psalms 33:4-22 says, "For the word of the Lord is right, and all His work is done in truth. He loves righteousness and justice; The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap; He lays up the deep in storehouses. Let all the earth fear the Lord; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast. The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect. The counsel of the Lord stands forever, The plans of His heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance. The Lord looks from heaven; He sees all the sons of men. From the place of His dwelling, He looks on all the inhabitants of the earth; He fashions their hearts individually; He considers all their works. No king is saved by the multitude of an army; A mighty man is not delivered by great strength. A horse is a vain hope for safety; Neither shall it deliver any by its great strength. Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, on those who hope in His mercy, to deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in Him, because we have trusted in His holy name. Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us, just as we hope in You."
On election day, not just this upcoming one, but all of them. Forget the politics. Forget the campaign promises. Forget what this person or that person says they will and will not do. It's not worth the paper it's printed on. Instead, look towards the morals of the candidates. Find out who is endorsing them and who is supporting them. Groups like the LGBTQ, for example. If they are supported by such a group, don't vote them into office. Keep them out! Why? Because they support what God forbids. And compromise with the world is treason in the courts of Heaven!
Paul said in Romans 12, "Do not be conformed to this world. But be transformed by the renewing of your mind." Let me say this. I don't care what anyone running for office promises. Namely because I don't believe they'll make good on it. There's people in office today whom I wouldn't believe a word out of their mouth if their tongue was notarized! I wouldn't. And for most of my life, I wouldn't have anything to do with voting. I wanted no part of it. I didn't want to hear what anyone said about it. Until the Lord dealt with me about it.
And He showed me that my vote is a big deal to Him. Because God is expecting His Church to take a stand against the ones who would disregard His Word and approve what He condemns. Like I said earlier, one of the key issues in this upcoming election is abortion. I'm going to say it as plain as I can make it. God hates abortion! Why? Because abortion is murder. It is not anyone's right to commit it. I don't care what the issue is. I don't care what the circumstances are. No one has the right to end a child's life.
The bible says, "Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward." Psalms 127:3. And we're killing it! We are putting to death a heritage from God. The reward of the womb. We're killing it. I heard about a man who prayed to God and asked Him why He didn't send us anyone to cure cancer, or aids, or diabetes, or any of the deadly diseases that are plaguing the world. And God answered him and said, "I did. You aborted them."
What is it going to take to get people to see that abortion is never a solution, it's an escape. It's a cop out. I'm going to be blunt about this. I don't care how many toes I step on. When I think of an innocent unborn baby being slaughtered in abortion mills and clinics, it makes my blood boil! I posted a question on Facebook awhile back, shortly after the news broke about Roe v Wade being overturned. It read, "My body, my choice? What if your Mom said that when she was pregnant with you?" The point I was trying to make was, you were given a chance at life. Who are you to deny your own child that same chance? And don't misunderstand me, I'm not making light of a horrible event such a rape or incest. What I am saying is that is no reason to pass a death sentence on a life that didn't do anything to you and had nothing to do with how they came to be.
I was talking with a man the other day. We were talking about the abortion issue and how people are saying there should be an exception to cases of rape or incest. I looked him in the eye, because he supported the argument, and I said, "How many rapists have been given the death penalty? How many child molesters have been given a death sentence?" I'm not saying that hasn't happened, but it's so unheard of to hear a rapist or even a child molester has been sentenced to death. Which means the cases, if any, have been very few.
And we are going to sentence an innocent child to death for something they didn't even do? Where is the justice in that? I'm going to come right out and say it, the only reason most abortions are done in this country today is for the sole benefit of the mother. No regard, no consideration, not one thought is given to the child. Not one!
Mother Theresa said, "The nation that murders its unborn children, has lost its soul!" Is that what's happened here? Have we lost our own soul? Have we gotten so full of the world that we're letting such travesties like abortion happen without the slightest hint of remorse?
If you want to really make a difference on election day, vote the bible! Stop falling for all the campaign promises and mudslinging politicians do to get ahead. Look at their morals! Look at what they support and who they support! Look at what they believe is okay and what is not okay. Then see what the bible has to say about it. The choice will be more clear than it ever was! The choice will be more obvious than it's ever been! VOTE THE BIBLE!!! VOTE THE BIBLE!!! VOTE THE BIBLE!!!!
