From the start it looks as though Enoch fared more regrettable than the other patriarchs; he lived on earth for just 365 years. Enoch was transferred straightforwardly to heaven without dying. Then that would imply that Enoch lived longer than any patriarch, for he never saw death. So, if we think about it, Enoch is the longest-living human of all.
Hebrews 11:5, by faith Enoch was translated (taken up) that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God
Walk in God's direction:
1 John 2:6, He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
The way for us to walk is marked.
As we walk, we are to watch for obstacles.
We are to walk as Christ walked.
1 Peter 2:21, For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps.
Walk at God's pace:
Ephesians 6:15, and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace
Shoes (running, walking, stylish, orthopedic).
Spread the news.
Do not get behind.
Do not get ahead.
Walk in progress with God:
2 Corinthians 5:7, For we walk by faith and not by sight.
We first learn to crawl, then we learn to walk, and then we learn to run.
Simple first steps.
Successive steps.
Walk in intimacy with God:
Colossians 2:6, As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him.
We share our thoughts.
Look at Adam, in the beginning, in the Garden of Eden.
Walk to the destination God has for you:
Hebrews 11:5, By faith Enoch was translated (taken up) that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
Take one step at a time.
Be prepared to get outside of our comfort zone.
