2Cor 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
There is a country song that says, "Don't call him a cowboy until you see him ride." Indeed, he may be a Coca-Cola Cowboy or a Rexall Ranger, but not a real cowboy even if has the attire and knows some terminology. Until you see him rope and ride knowing how to use those spurs, you cannot go by the hat, boots and buckle.
The same goes with preachers, teachers and other Christians. Unless, there is sound doctrine being preached, some fruit and transparency, they may not be what they present themselves to be.
While God is still in the miracle business, we know some are not of God because of Matt 7:21-25. They may have a big audience and be on TV, radio and YouTube but still not be a true angel/messenger of Light.
The devil and his minions do not look like our stereotypes. They can dress up well. Many frauds in many areas looked good, talked the talk and even appeared to walk the walk, but were later found out to be far less than they claimed.
We know the devil can quote Scripture. He is a pro at twisting it and resisting it. To an untrained eye, zirconium and pyrite look real. That is why we must study to show ourselves approved and seek wisdom and discernment so we can try the spirits as we are commanded.
Be careful where you travel and be sure of your Kool-Aid. They can have fancy titles, multiple degrees and can charm snakes, but that may only mean they are related. We have been warned that in the last days many false prophets and anti-Christ would abound so know the well that is watering you looking for mold on the bread that is served,
Be careful where you travel and be sure of your Kool-Aid. If they are not riding in accordance with the Bible then they are not on the right trail following the true Trail Boss. if they aren't, then you need to Cowboy/Cowgirl up and high tail it away from them and find a better wagon train to travel with in this life.
Happy trails!!!
