Religious Hypocrites are compared to whitewashed tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but within are full of dead people’s bones and all uncleanness.
Religious People should keep themselves unstained from the world but rather they take part in the unfruitful works of darkness
If any Religious Person does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person’s religion is worthless.
A Religious Hypocrite shuts the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. For neither, they enter themselves nor permit the people who might enter to go in.
A Religious Hypocrite pretends to love his brother on the outside but truly does not love his brother whom he has seen, then how can he Love God whom he has not seen?
They love to practice their righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, but then they will not have any reward from Father who is in heaven.

In vain do they worship God, teaching the doctrines and commandments of men?
They boast about the sacrifices they have made for the Lord and trust in their own righteousness.
They are the type of people that see the speck that is in their brother’s eye, but does not notice the log that is in their own eyes!
They claim to prophesy in God’s name, cast out demons in God’s name and do many mighty works in God’s Name
Then God will say to them that He never knew them and He will command them to depart from Him, for they are the workers of lawlessness.
Not everyone who says, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of Father who is in heaven will enter.
These religious Pharisees do not keep God's commandments, they are liars and there is no truth in them.
And when they fast, they look gloomy like hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces so that their fasting may be seen by others and they don’t get a reward from God.
For they love to preach, but do not practice. They tie up heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on people’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to move them with their fingers.
They do all their deeds to be seen by others and to impress others for they make their phylacteries broad and their fringes long.
God calls this type of religious Pharisees as hypocrites and they outwardly appear righteous to others, but within them are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.
They have a form of appearance of godliness but denying its power and they are more interested in their own reputation than in saving people from sin and hell.
These Religious hypocrites love to judge others who practice sins and yet don’t judge themselves for their own sins and how can they escape the judgment of God?
With their mouth, they would destroy their neighbor, being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own righteousness.
The Religious Hypocrites who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
Walking around in long robes, and love greetings in the marketplaces and the best seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at feasts, who devour widows’ houses and for they pretend to make long prayers but God says they will receive the greater condemnation.”
because of their hard and impenitent heart, they are storing up wrath for themselves on the day of wrath when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed.
For they are the fool’s speaking folly, and their heart is busy with iniquity, to practice ungodliness, to utter error concerning the Lord, to leave the craving of the hungry unsatisfied, and to deprive the thirsty of drink.
Their speech was smooth as butter, yet war is in their heart; their words are softer than oil, yet they were drawn swords.
They claim to be Holy and not like other men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers or even like the tax collector. They claim to fast twice a week and give tithes of all that they get.
They use their freedom and legalistic attitude to justify themselves to cover up for evil, but living as servants of God walking with carnal human nature and not a divine nature.
They preach very strict rules to others but modify those rules when it comes to them and their own family members and they would accuse those who are walking in the path of truth and Godliness just as Satan the “Accuser of the brethren” accusing people “day and night” continually in Revelation 12:10.
God calls them as serpents, a brood of vipers, how can they escape being sentenced to hell?
They would love breaking the commandments of God for the sake of their tradition and persecute and excommunicate if people don’t obey their orders or don’t listen to them.
They love positions, and titles of honor, competing for power, authority, and control within the House of God.
Pharisees are jealous of those who can do miracles that they cannot do, pride and jealousy blinded them from seeing the truth of Jesus that God revealed through God's word.
They love to sit on platforms at all public functions to be recognized as Religious Leaders and would like to boast about their education, accomplishments, and achievements. Would Jesus care about any of these?
These religious hypocrites have made Preaching a business to collect plenty of money in the Name of God or tithing or sowing into ministry and be famous and live a materialistic life in private life.
Some religious hypocrites look at a woman with lustful intent and they have already committed adultery in their hearts.
These Pharisees are proud religious teachers and sticklers who love to boast about themselves being honored and elevated above others Instead of boasting in the Lord and they exploit others for their own benefit.
Pharisees are daylight robbers and thieves taking advantage of the poor, preying on innocents and weaker women.
They like those people who flatter them but hate those who rebuke them and correct them.
Their opinions and convictions are not based on God’s word but on what the people around them would think of them and they will never give a chance to hear the opinion of others.
Those who are led by the Holy Spirit and never loved the world, but these Pharisees loved the highest seats and public greetings in the market because they were selfish and wanted to be seen by people, to the point of enlarging the borders of their clothes.
Pharisees Criticize the sacrifices made by true believers and are very critical of others in small matters and they live by the religious rules of their organization.
They themselves are evil and corrupted, money changers and have made the Gods house as a den of thieves.
These religious Hypocrites instead of helping, protecting the vulnerable, the innocents, healing the wounded and exposing the truth, and caring for widows and those in need, they themselves exploit, covered up crimes, and hinder prosecution
Pharisees are easily offended, spiritually blinded, and neglect their family responsibilities in the name of religion or serving God.
Pharisees have no justice, no mercy, no truth, and no faithfulness, filled with unmerciful attitudes and they are quickly offended when you speak truth to them and persecute God's People.
Pharisees profess to know God But they deny Him by their works like the glaze covering an earthen vessel are fervent lips with an evil heart.
They are Rejecting the true way of Christ and avoiding paths of righteousness and they Only remember God in times of natural disasters
Because of the Pharisees, the house of God has been clothed with Hypocrisy, selfishness, greed, and taking advantage of weak souls.
Jesus condemned religious hypocrisy. On Judgment Day, God will punish them for their ways and for all their deeds as said in Hosea 4:9.
