PREFACE SUMMARY
(Proverbs 4:7) “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”
Dear reader, did you know that the word Principle can be best described as being foremost the first, the leading such as important city or capitol city therefore the most important or we may say dominant?
Beloved, please understand that when we seek Godly wisdom, we are seeking knowledge that can change everything including power that can turn our whole situation around. Faith is the "currency" of God's kingdom. It takes faith to receive and operate in the Godly principles that will fix your financial situation and help you eliminate debt from your balance sheet.
Beloved reader, did you know that men and women of great wealth have testified that they have conducted seminars including authoring best selling books to credit their accomplishments in their willingness to give a tithe of their increase to the work of God and even went on to state that as their faith increased, so did their wealth and financial accomplishments?
Saints, did you know that the purpose for God’s wisdom is to provide direction and instruction in all aspects of our life which helps to remind us that we need his guidance to lead us away from the path of evil?
Beloved, the primary means by which God gives his children wisdom is through instruction, and when Jesus walked this Earth, he did not talk about things that were hard to understand, nor did he use words that were over the peoples head.
Saints of God and fellow peers, did you know that Jesus taught about the common things that everyone was familiar with and used them to impart eternal and spiritual truths to his disciples?
Saints of the living God, unless we grow up, our lives will never reach the fullness that God has planned for us and beloved, this will be disappointing when compared with Eternity where our works shall be tried by fire.
Saints, may we as children of the most-high God, take a firm stand today and press toward the mark of the high calling of God which is in Christ Jesus striving to become men and women of God that are engaged in the fight of faith and not being critical of the leaders that God has chosen to lead the battle.
Beloved reader, in this hour and time, the Living God is calling us to the school of his Spirit that we may fulfill his purpose for our generation, yes saints, our God has a sincere desire for us to grow in maturity as we enjoy intimacy with him.
Beloved, the relationship with our master is an important truth which Jesus demonstrated as an example throughout his Earthly ministry, and Saints, no wonder the Apostle Paul made the statement found in the book of (Philippians 3:10) "I want to know him in the power of his resurrection."
WISDOM THROUGH INSTRUCTION
Dear reader, did you know that before you can successfully lead God’s people, you must learn to summit to the authority that he has placed over you and sadly, some people recognize the call of God on their life and immediately launch out into ministry, and do so without the proper training needed to be successful refusing to be accountable to their elders thus opening themselves up to a jezebel spirit to come in and give them what they desire thus making them very dangerous people?
Dear reader, these types of people are accountable to no one and will flare up in hot anger to anyone that will question their authority, and they do this because they think they are hearing from God but their words including their actions tear down instead of edifying (uplifting) the body, and they do not realize that they have been deceived by a Jezebel spirit.
Beloved, we need our hearts stirred with Holy Ghost anointed preaching from someone who has spent time in their prayer closet with God, yes beloved, I am talking about someone who will preach the unadulterated word of God with power warning us to re-examine ourselves before a Holy God who hates sin.
Church, the bible says in (Matthew 12:24) "for out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth will speak and we find in (Matthew 15:18) that it is the things which come out of the heart that defiles the man. (Proverbs 4:23) KJV: Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. (Proverbs 4:23) NLT: Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.
Beloved, did you know that many people today are living a self-motivated life for their own gain and sometimes at the expense of others?
Beloved reader, can we be safe in declaring with a loud voice that the sinful habits of self-will, self-gain, self-motivation, selfish desires, and selfish choices need to be uprooted by the word and the Spirit of God?
Beloved, I am talking about the secret sins of the heart which lead to gossiping, backbiting, and tale-bearing which are strictly condemned in God's holy word. (Proverbs 6:16-19)
Saints of God and fellow peers, did you know that many professing Christians today are guilty of rebelling against God's word, and are refusing to lay down (surrender) their life to him for being used by him to work in his kingdom?
Beloved, can we be safe is saying that we the church need the creases of sin broken up in our hearts asking God to bend us and place his burden in our heart for the souls of men?
Saints and fellow peers, may we this day humble ourselves in repentance asking him to help us get rid of an angry spirit that seems to arise when we least expect it, whose main goal is to overtake so many of us to dim our vision and get us off our assignment!
(Matthew 16:25) " For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it."
WISDOM ON A NEW LEVEL
Church, the time is upon us and now is to advance to the next level in our faith which will require a lot of seasoned prayer, but sadly, some of us are still in kindergarten and dear reader, how are we going to claim our children for the Kingdom of God, if we do not protect them with our prayers?
Saints, to get to the next level in our walk with God, we must maintain a disciplined intimate prayer life which will demand a disciplined habit of spending time in his word.
Beloved reader, please note that this new level in pour faith requires dedication and intimacy which will lead us to the secret place described in (Psalms 91:1) "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."
Beloved Saints, did you know that the secret place spoken of by the psalmist which no enemy can dare enter, allows us to mature and enjoy our fellowship with other believers who are in a growth cycle too because church, discover that we grow more in the things of God when we are around others that have also experienced God’s grace and forgiveness?
Dear reader, did you know that knowledge is the accumulation of learning and acquiring judgment through experience that can evolve into wisdom, and wisdom is knowing when, how, and where to use the knowledge that it has taken years to acquire?
Saints and fellow peers, please understand that it is more important to learn who we are in Christ than it is to have our emphasis on what we do because Saints, the problem God has today is not the strength of the Devil but the weakness of the church which consists of people including leaders that has neglected their bible study and prayer life, leaving us with weak leaders that need to be led.
Beloved reader, did you know that God's desire is for us to use our gifts in such a way that others can glean from them?
Beloved, some professing Christians' today have fallen to the enemy’s schemes and neglected this relationship with Christ, becoming more involved with ministry than with seeking the master about his advice, thus setting themselves up for failure as they end up on the rocks of hurt, doom and despair?
Beloved reader, it is vital that we maintain a disciplined prayer life including be held accountable to another person to keep us in line for his word declares that there is strength in numbers and beloved, we need one another to help make it another day.
Dear reader, the trucking company "Crete Carrier Corporation" out of Lincoln, Nebraska that I was privileged to work for from 2008 thru 2021, has a slogan engraved on their trailers that says, "there are no shortcuts with Crete" meaning we are a company that prioritizes safety both of our driver and our equipment above everything else on the road.
Beloved, let me tell you from experience, that there are no shortcuts with God and history itself has proven that life demands accountability.
GET UNDERSTANDING
(Psalms 119:130) "The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple."
Dear reader, the word states in Psalms 119 is informing us that we get understanding in meditating on God's word and how can we read his word with understanding except receiving imparted revelation through and by his Spirit which is our comforter and our guide?
Beloved, we might describe the word understanding to be better looked at as revelation for something is being unveiled or revealed to us gained through experiencing the many trials we encountered in our life's journey, especially the ones we were able to witness God through his insight and wisdom brought us through.
Beloved, we gained valuable knowledge through these trials which helped us not only have knowledge but develop wisdom on how, when and where to find deliverance for the next one.
Dear reader, it is through this wisdom that we get a broad understanding of the colossal war going on around us between good and evil which opens our understanding especially through God's holy word to observe, gain insight, and devise a plan to meet the problem looking through the eyes of faith instead of the eyes of flesh.
Beloved, my mentor Apostle Don Stewart called me one day and said, "Jerry my boy, you should have already been on the world stage, but you got one thing that is holding you back."
Dear reader, he said, "You tend to react to a situation instead of responding to it" to which I asked him to explain, and he said, "when something comes your way, you want to fix it right there, then and now such as filling positions etc thinking you will train the person taking the position which are not ready for the position because they have not gained the knowledge, wisdom and understanding needed to qualify them."
Beloved, this wisdom from such a seasoned man of God broke me inside and out because I was guilty and had suffered greatly from people I had placed in a position before they were ready.
Dear reader, the Apostle informed me that I should not react but respond which means that I should give it some time and during the time that I should season it with prayer, then when I make the decision, he said that I should stand firm on my decision without wavering.
Beloved, this wisdom from my mentor helped me put all the pieces together of attempting to build God's ministry my way instead of his way and beloved, this gave me clear understanding that we may have knowledge of how something works, and we may even have knowledge to fix it such as a piece of machinery when it tears up, but beloved reader, please know that we get understanding when we know how, when and where to use the machinery or ministry the right way which is called wisdom which the bible call the principal thing.
GOD'S MINISTRY PREVAILS
(Philippians 4:19) "My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
(Proverbs 8:20,21) (20) "I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:" (21) " that I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures."
(Proverbs 15: 22) "Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors, they are established.”
Dear reader, did you know that because we have been adopted by grace into God's royal family, we have been granted the blessed opportunity to sit with Christ on his throne and share in his glory?
Beloved, God's wisdom teaches that our growth is in Christ and without him, there can be no growth.
(John 1:4) "that in him is life and that life is the light of men."
Saints, the one who gives us life is also the one who gives us guidance and because of who we are in the family of God, we have rights to approach him as sons and daughters of the most-high God.
Beloved, did you know that the scriptures teach that we are never alone as long as we abide in the vine? (Christ)
(Hebrews 13:5) "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."
Church, we may be in a world filled with hungry wolves (sinful people) but we must remember that we have a watchful guardian and thank the living God that the one who sent us will also make the journey with us both as our guide and our guardian.
Beloved reader, did you know that we can say that it feels good to be in the safety of the sheep fold, but beloved, in order for sheep to put on wool, they must be allowed to get out and graze?
Beloved Saints, did you know that sheep will not follow or come to anyone but their Shepard however at night?
Beloved, the truth is that they will not come near him by just hearing his voice, and beloved, for him to gain their attention as their master, he must find a way to light his face, then beloved, upon that recognition, they will come and surround him for they have recognized their Shepard.
Beloved, God’s word tells us in (Hebrews 13: 5) that He will never leave us but go with us all the way even to the end of the world, and fellow Saints, we are not making this journey without a guide, for beloved, not only is Jesus the giver and sustainer of my life, but "he through his holy Spirit is also my guide."
(Romans 8:16-17) (16) "The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: (17) "And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
My fellow Christians, the bottom line to this entire message is, "we must remain in the vine (Jesus) and maintain a healthy relationship with our Lord, that we may bear good fruit."
Beloved, did you know that when we are called into ministry, we receive an anointing that comes with the call to be who God wants us to be, however beloved, there in an anointing which comes later in the call on our life to do what God has called us to do and this anointing comes after many trials which is what I call on the job training whose sole purpose is to strengthen and give us stability when the pressures of the world including the pressures of ministry mount against us so great that we have no one but the Lord to see us through.
Dear reader, did you know that for us to be successful in our Christian walk with Christ, we must realize that the Living God chose us before we were born and he knows the plans he has for our life. (John 15:16)
Beloved, the bottom line to this entire message is, "The process to greatness is hard, and sometimes, we will be put in situations where we cannot win.
Dear reader, we must understand that the tests in life are prepared to produce character deep within us and beloved, we may suffer through many years of hard trials and tests before God will trust us to do what we were destined to do.
Saints please remember that our whole life has been preparing us for our destiny, and we need to understand that the greater the trials we encounter, usually means the greater the task which lies ahead that God purposely chose us to complete.
Beloved Saints, please understand that our faith is secure by maintaining a close relationship with Christ and beloved, we can enter into his rest knowing that God’s Spirit is with us to help us glean valuable knowledge and wisdom through each trial which serves to give us understanding, confidence, assurance and hope that the rewarding benefits are eternal life and joy forever more
WISDOM IN DELIVERANCE MINISTRY
Saints and fellow peers, some years back, I witnessed a minister stand behind the pulpit and make jokes in the open about somebody’s personal life thus embarrassing them before the whole congregation.
Beloved reader, I might be ok with this nonsense if it were kept in the family of the family member they are joking about but beloved even then, I think they could use better judgment in their way of entertainment, because Saints, there are souls in the balance and there can absolutely be no place for this foolishness to be practiced in the house of God.
Beloved reader, did you know that one of the main problems the church is facing today is people holding leadership positions that need to be led themselves?
Beloved, I have actually had the Lord speak to me concerning the personal life of someone in the congregation and I did not know nor had I ever had the privilege of meeting the person the Lord was speaking to me about especially concerning what was taking place in their life.
Dear reader, unless instructed otherwise, I would inform the person that the Lord had revealed something about their life to me and would like to make arrangements to minister to them about it in a secure private place, which is using good sound wisdom for no one wants to be placed in an embarrassing situation before others.
Beloved, after meeting with these persons in a private place, I would proceed to tell them only what the Lord has shown me and never would I try to make sense out of it, for God knows what he is doing and does not need us to help him out.
Saints, there have been times when a person would be possessed by evil spirits and I would have to perform an exorcism in front of the church, and beloved, when this happens, I make it a point to ask the Lord to manifest his Son in me and ask him to take complete control of the situation.
Beloved reader, to begin this process, I minister to the individual prompting them of how important it is to renounce their connection with Satan and reaffirm their commitment to the Lord and his kingdom.
Saints, the next step I take is get them to ask the Lord to take any sin known or unknown that their forefathers may have committed off of their bloodline,
Beloved, after completing these first two steps, I proceed to have them ask the Lord to remove any sins or curses that they might have inherited from their ancestors.
Beloved Saints, I know this is helping somebody reading this and that is my intent for many times in evangelism, I have been blessed to witness people being set free with even the radiance of deliverance showing up in their faces as Jesus is removing the years of hurt, scars and pain from their lives.
Dear reader, please take note and understand that just because you see some improvement in the person and they declare that they are free, some stubborn spirits will try and hide on you because they want to make sure their host really wants them to go and sadly beloved, some people have gotten used to the company of those spirits.
Beloved, my next step in this process is to demand these spirits either leave or manifest themselves and state the grounds they have for not leaving, and dear Saints, there have been instances where these spirits actually manifested themselves causing fear to arise in the congregations that did not believe that these demon spirits were even real.
Saints, I will be truthful with you; it is a crying shame that some pastors are afraid to deal with demon spirits and allow people to leave their service downhearted and disappointed.
Beloved reader, the possessed people know that they want and need deliverance but sadly they went to the wrong church for help and encountered a pastor that is afraid of the devil and advises them to set up an appointment with a psychiatrist.
Dearly beloved, did you know that some people may look down on some old lady living in a housing project but Saints, there are actually some of these ladies that the devil is terrified of because they know how to put him in his place and that beloved, is under their feet through deliverance ministry.
Beloved, the Lord taught me about demon spirits at a young age and when I am involved in exorcism, I am well prepared for the service because I know who I am in Christ for I know who called me into his ministry and it certainly was not man.
Church, when I come face to face with these spirits, I take charge of the situation up front informing them that they will only speak when I give them permission and when they are allowed to speak, they will tell me the truth.
Beloved, sometimes, I like to poke fun at them and get them uneasy by asking why they chose the individual because of their looks or hair color followed by demanding that they tell me their names including who is the door keeper spirit that let all the others in to which they may say something like "they were invited in through some bad practices of their host."
Dear reader, I feel you are reading this message because you need some training and are searching for wisdom in being useful and successful in your ministry for you have a sincere desire to set people free.
Beloved, Paul informs us in the book of Ephesians that we must daily put on the armour of God and one of the requirements listed in (Ephesians 6:7) is the helmet of salvation; therefore beloved, you must know who you are in Christ to conduct a deliverance service and it is not about how many times you have missed the mark which is just target practice but beloved, your protection including your success comes from recognizing the call of God on your life realizing that you are an ambassador representing the King of Glory.
Beloved, please do not fall into the trap of spending all night arguing with these spirits which is their way of wearing you out, but call up on the Angels of God to assist you, for they are sent here by God to be ministering spirits whose sole purpose is to assist the Saints.
Church, ask the Lord to show you if there are any spirits trying to hide and call them out for Saints, you will be surprised to find out that they are afraid of you because of who you are in Christ and sometimes they will use the person’s vocal chords telling you that they are afraid of you.
Beloved Saints, please understand that they do this not for who you are, but because of the high calling of God that is upon your life and ministry.
Beloved, please take my advice and never allow anyone to try and wrestle with the person that is having the spirits manifest through them for they are very strong and even a weak person that is empowered by these spirits are known to have easily thrown grown men around especially when these entities manifest themselves.
Beloved, may we realize the sign of the times upon us and may we pray, "Lord, let there be less of me, and Lord, let there be more of you for you are the potter and we are the clay therefore dear Lord, use us for your kingdom and make our life count.
Church, the bottom line to being successful in your ministry, is to always be pliable and instead of reacting to a situation, give it some time and respond with a firm decision and stand by that decision and if you find yourself in a situation that involves someone needing deliverance, make sure that you maintain complete control of the service and know that the Living God is there to protect you as he has me.
MY CONCLUSION
Beloved, please take note that the Living God is in the process of bringing restoration to those who have been shut down by angry impatient leaders who shut them down in an embarrassing situation while they were in the process of using their gifts.
Dear reader, these pastors provoked by fear and in an attempt to guard their flock because of someone missed the mark stepped forward to close a service causing some leaders to question their calling when all they really need is more training by someone that has been successful in that calling.
Saints of God, we are entering into an era in history that the true prophetic ministries and gifts of the Spirit are being restored to the church fulfilling the prophecy of Joel which also was preached by the Apostle Peter on the day of Pentecost concerning the Spirit of God to be poured out upon all flesh.
Saints, did you know that many ministers today that are growing in the prophetic realm, are experiencing visions and dreams but fail in their interpretations because of not knowing the timing of God?
Church, we are living in the closing era of the Dispensation of Grace and the Spirit of the Lord is in the process of restoring the prophetic ministry to the body of Christ but at the same time sadly, there has been an increase in the church with many false prophets speaking perverse things to draw disciples after them fulfilling God's word concerning false prophets.
(Acts 20:28-30) (28) "Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood." (29) "For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock." (30) "Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them."
Beloved reader, did you know that false prophets have real power and if we are to avoid becoming their next victim, they must be exposed because the desperate hunger for supernatural guidance has caused men and women to rise to fill the void that the church should be filling, and the scriptures teach that this will become one of the major important issues in the end time where men's hearts will fail them for the things which are coming upon the earth?
(Luke 21:25-26) (25) "And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;" (26) "Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken."
Saints and fellow peers, please understand that those of us that have a call upon our life to represent Christ, must be men and women of integrity because the enemy is looking for weakness in our ranks and we must maintain a disciplined prayer life and do our best to bring out the best in others.
Beloved Saints, did you know that ministers have come forth today declaring that the word of God replaced the gifts of the Spirit which were prevalent in the early church stating that (Ephesians 4:11-13) is fulfilled and the church has achieved a perfect state of maturity?
Beloved reader, did you know that for them to make such statements declaring that it was good for that day and not for our day is total blasphemy in the face of a God who never changes for to say it was for that day and that it ceased with the Apostles beloved, is making a bold statement that our perfect God, gave an imperfect gift?
Beloved, I now bring this message to a close with this statement; “We can die in the bleachers or we can die on the field as a warrior of Christ,”
Beloved Saints and fellow peers, it is in this era of Grace that we realize, "it is time for us to quit being a spectator sitting on the sidelines drowning in our self-pity, and get in the fight, contending for the faith using the Authority that we have in Christ for what an embarrassment it will be to make it inside the pearly gates and see someone else for all eternity wear a crown that should have been ours.
