Ezekiel 47:1-5 TLB
Then he brought me back to the door of the Temple. I saw a stream flowing eastward from beneath the Temple and passing to the right of the altar, that is, on its south side. [2] Then he brought me outside the wall through the north passageway and around to the eastern entrance, where I saw the stream flowing along on the south side of the eastern passageway. [3] Measuring as he went, he took me 1,500 feet east along the stream and told me to go across. At that point the water was up to my ankles. [4] He measured off another 1,500 feet and told me to cross again. This time the water was up to my knees. [5] Fifteen hundred feet after that it was up to my waist. Another 1,500 feet and it had become a river so deep I wouldn't be able to get across unless I were to swim. It was too deep to cross on foot.
Now let's look at verses 8-9 KJV...
Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed. [9] And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh.
Sometimes people will ask, where are we at on the prophetic time table? And then you will hear people ask, can we see America in Bible prophecy?
And I thought about this, that is a good question. Some have said that they cannot find America in Bible prophecy as relates to Gods dealings with her, and her standing in these closing hours of time, before the coming of the Lord.
Wow, that is something to consider. So I asked the Lord... What about that Lord, is America in Bible prophecy, or does she somehow just fall apart as a nation, and lose credibility as a nation? To tell the truth that is not an unreasonable assumption. When you look at the state of our country right now, America is a laughing stock on the world stage. We have lost all credibility in the eyes of world leaders.
To tell you the truth, it was a little bit unsetteling to think about the possibility that we could no longer exist as a nation. So I asked the Lord about it...
Lord, is America not in Bible prophecy? And he said yes, America is in Bible prophecy.
So I said Lord, can you show me where America is in Bible prophecy? He said yes, turn to Acts Chapter 2:17-21
Acts 2:17-21 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: [18] And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: [19] And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: [20] The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: [21] And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
I said Lord, what are you talking about? I'm looking for America. The Lord said that's your problem, you're just looking for the working of my Spirit with one nation. But the prophecy is... I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh.
That's American flesh, Chinese flesh, African flesh, Indian flesh, Mexican flesh, and every other flesh. The Baptist flesh, Methodist flesh, and the Pentecostal flesh.
Then he said, your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams. And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy.
But Lord, I'm talking about America in Bible prophecy, that's when the Lord said to me, you asked about America in the last days in Bible prophecy, right here she is. In the last days my Spirit is not dealing only with individual nations as has happened in the past...This last day visitation is global. It will touch every nation of the earth. And just as you can find America in this prophecy, you can also find India, and Pakistan, and France, and Germany, and Russia. Because the last day outpouring is not about a city, a state, or even a nation, it is global.
In these last days God is not looking at borders and boundaries that define where one nation ends and another starts. But God is looking for hungry hearts, in China, in India, In Iraq, in Iran, in Russia, and America.
This last day outpouring and visitation, is going to be determined by one thing, and that is hunger. God is pouring out his Spirit on the hungry and the thirsty. Wherever there is authentic, yearning hunger and desire, there will also be an outpouring of the mighty Holy Spirit.
It doesn't matter who the President or the Prime minister, or the King or the Queen of that country is, the hunger of the people will provoke a visitation of the glory of God upon that nation.
Where are we at on God's prophetic time clock? I have to say this... I don't claim to be an expert of Biblical prophecy- In fact I really haven't studied Bible prophecy very much. But I do study the Bible.
Let me say, we are thankful for those who do study Bible prophecy, but I don't think that you have to be a great student of last day Bible prophecy, to co-operate with God in his great outpourings. But you do have to have an ear to hear what the Spirit is saying, in the here and now.
So as this question began to stir in my spirit, where is America in last day Bible prophecy? The Holy Spirit directed me to this passage of scripture. He said, there you are. America is right here, and all the nations of the earth are right here.
I believe the problem we have when we are over occupied with Bible prophecy, is we tend to look for certain things to happen, so we can see the glory, and the power of God. And we tend to be in a suspended state of waiting, as though God is not doing anything until we see certain things come to pass.
But the Holy Spirit said to me, and to us today. It's time to get out of the suspended wait zone, where we feel like we're sitting on the launching pad but we never blast off.
The Holy Spirit says, it's time to blast off. He says that acts 2:17-21, is all you need to hit blast off, and get you off the launching pad, and break this earths gravitational pull, and start operating and flowing in the might and the power of the Holy Ghost.
Yes I believe in Bible prophecy, but there is not one single prophecy that needs to be fulfilled, before we can blast off and start doing what Jesus told us to do.
Go, blast off, launch out...
That's what Jesus meant here in Mark 16:16-18... Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. [17] And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; [18] They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
The only thing that produces any hesitatation at all is this... Jesus said you've got to get powered up before you go. You've got to have some fire power.
Jesus said, in Luke 24:49 And behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
And in Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
And in Matthew 10:7-8 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. [8] Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
Where are we at in Bible prophecy? We're right here in acts 2:12-21. Were in the last day outpouring of the Holy Ghost on all flesh.
Many years ago there was a visitation of the spirit and glory of God that swept the nation. They called it the charismatic renewal.
The Holy Ghost was jumping every boundry, and tradition, and denomination. He was filling the Catholic's, the baptist's, the presbyterian's, the Lutheran's, the episcopalian's, and the methodist's. It was a great out-pouring and manifestatation of the power and the glory of God.
But if I have any prophetic insight and unction about me whatsoever, then I prophesy that, that was just a sample, a taste, and the tip of the ice burg, of what is getting ready to hit the nations of the earth, and it has already started.
Every thing that the devil has done to beat down, and push down, and oppress, and rob, and demoralize, and humiliate the people of the nations of the earth... is going to back fire. And it is going to be a catalyst that is going to ignite a world wide revival, and reformation.
History is going to record this time as the most critical and pivotal time in the history of our nations. Because this time is going to be known as the time of turning, and awakening, and reset, and reformation.
And the devil is going to realize that he pushed too hard. And that he put too much pressure upon the people. But it will be too late, because the match has already been lit, and the fire is getting bigger, and brighter, and hotter all the time.
I'm not going to say what we've said for 50-75 years. I'm not going to say, Revival is coming. I'm going to say, Revival is here, the Spirit of God is being poured out, and no crooked politician, or wicked dictator can stop the glory of God from filling the earth.
God will have his way. The nations of the earth will recognize the one true God. And multitudes will accept Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Saviour, and the church will come back to walking with God in purity, and power.
Holiness and the fear of God will once again be the earmarks of the true church, and the glory of the Lord will be seen once again, in and through his church.
I don't believe that there is any believer who disagrees with the fact that we are living in the last days. That should really encourage and excite us, because the Holy Spirit emphasizes to us that the last days are days of great out-pouring, and manifestation, of the glory and power of God.
This is one of our greatest battles right now... Staying focused on what God is doing. It seems like the devil is off the chain. It looks like evil is progressing on every side. And the devil wants our attention focused on him. He has the media preaching his demonic message of hopelessness and fear, every where.
So it is up to us, to hear what God is saying, and amplify that, and magnify that, until God becomes so big in our thoughts and our actions that the devil disappears.
It is a waste of our time and energy, to focus on the devil. The devil is like a spoiled kid who will do anything to get our attention. But the only attention we're going to give him, is enough to put him under our feet.
The River of Revival is here, it's not on God's time clock for some day in the sweet by and by. The river is here now, the glory is here, revival is now, these are the last days.
These are the days of signs and wonders and miracles. These are the days of our sons and daughters prophesying, and our young men seeing visions, and our old men dreaming dreams.
There is no question whether the river is here or not, the only question is... will you get in, or will you sit on the bank and let it flow by you?
The River is here. The River of Ezekiel 47 is the same river of Joel, and the same river of acts chapter 2.
That river started flowing on the day of Pentecost when the Spirit was poured out, and that river is still here, and it's still flowing. It hasn't made a u-turn, and it hasn't diminished in force and power. It just has to have a clean channel to flow through.
I want you to lift your hands right now, and tell him... Holy Ghost purify me, cleanse me, wash me, and make me a vessel you can flow through.
I'm closing but I have to say one more thing. What Ezekial saw first as a stream, and then a great river, was the same. In other words, what Ezekial saw as a stream was always a river. The only thing that changed was his proximity. He went from spectator to participator.
When Ezekiel started wading out into the water, his proximity changed, and then his perception changed.
Friend, the river is here, we just have get off the bank and jump in.
