PREFACE SUMMARY
Saints, in today's world, every day that we are blessed to live, we see the decay of morals in our weakening society with many that once stood professing their faith in Christ, now drifting away from God and His word.
Beloved Saints, no serious Christian should ever question the need for a mighty, heaven-sent soul-searching revival that will shake the present Church to its foundations because the end result will be an ushering in of a spiritual cleansing and empowering that will turn our nation around so that our present way of life will be seen as totally unacceptable to a Holy God because when the true cleansing fire of God falls, church, it will strip away anything unholy and those pretending to be something they are not. It will unmask the false, expose worked up flesh and enthrone Jesus as Lord and King.
Beloved, if we are to see a much-needed move of God especially in this end time where anything is alright, we are going to have to get real with a real God understanding that God's highest revelation can be discovered in His Son Jesus Christ for he is the express image of the invisible God and beloved, He is the radiance of God's glory and being.
Saints, we must come to realize that revival and the pursuit of holiness go hand in hand therefore when we conduct a study of revival and church history, we will discover that God always brings to light the hidden sin in the life of the believer. (James 1:15) (Psalms 119:130) (2 Samuel 12:5)
Beloved, to experience true revival which touches the heart of God causing him to forgive our sin and heal our land, we must allow him to bring us to the place of being broken over our sin and beloved, there can be no revival until we make our goal the pursuit of Jesus, and we see ourselves in the light of His image.
Saints, God is raising up people today in this time and era who will spend time with him in prayer because beloved, God's plan for this hour is for his people to turn from their worldliness, including their prayer-less lives, yes beloved, people who will humble themselves and repent of their selfish fleshly cravings for power and positions.
Beloved, our holy righteous God has a sincere desire for us as a nation to repent of our church quarrels and denominational jealousy's that our pulpits will once again thunder and burn with the power and the cleansing fire of his Holy Spirit through men and women that have made up their mind not to compromise the truth of God's Holy word for a meal ticket.
A LIGHT SHINES OUT OF THE DARKNESS
Beloved, did you know that everything we have experienced throughout our life on Earth has been preparing us for the purpose for which we are now living in as the enemy of our soul has launched an all out attack on everything that we hold sacred starting with not only the Christian morals our country was founded on but against the bedrock of our nation which is our family, therefore saints, the severe trials and persecutions we have endured for many years have worked together to give us the strength and skills needed to become the leaders God has chosen to bring in the end-time harvest of souls into his kingdom and purpose.
Beloved reader, Paul stated in (Romans 8:18) " For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." Saints, did you know that there is a divine purpose for our pain and according to (Romans 8:28), everything that happens in our lifetime, both the good and the bad work to our good.
Dear reader, it may take several years for us to realize the purpose they played in our lives, but in time beloved, we will be able to look back on the pain and smile because dear saints of God, it was a process that caused us to become unstoppable because it worked to form our character and let's face it beloved, even broken friendships including relationships do not seem to have that same appealing affect on us especially after we have had time to break the hold that they held over our life.
Church, to give this end time message some stability, I suggest you the reader do a study on the "Visions and unusual unexplained events in the life of George Washington who became the first President of the Republic of America.
Saints, I begin this message with an urgency to be a voice crying to my generation as if I were a watchman on a wall trying to warn the people that an enemy is not only near our wall but has been granted access into our country by selfish devil possessed leaders that have sold our freedoms and solidarity to finance their own gain at the expense of the American people.
Beloved, did you know that people born back in the 1950's era called the "baby boomers" generation, can reflect back and visualize men and women visiting their schools talking about the goodness of a loving God, yes beloved. they would always leave the children presents such as bibles including some nice toys that the young children could play with for several hours.
Church, I remember one toy in particular that had a monkey climbing a ladder and beloved, I would work this thing until I got him all the way to the top but saints, time sure has changed since then, especially since we the church have set back allowing one woman "Madalyn Murray O'Hair" to go before congress and have prayer taken out of our schools however church, I will step up and say that "Prayer left the home before it left the school" and isn't It amazing that God invaded this woman's home and called her son to preach,?
Beloved reader, the very one that was responsible of being an atheist and used of the devil to successfully get prayer taken out of our schools, had to live with the very fact that her Son became a chosen called man of God representing the very God she declared did not exist and in an article that was published in 1964 by Life Magazine, she became "the most hated woman" in America.
Saints, this reminds me of the resurrection of Lazarus who had been dead four days and later, we have Jesus being raised from the dead including showing himself alive to more than 500 people at one time,
Beloved saints, after the resurrection of our Lord we find that he continued to live on the earth with his disciples for forty days that he may finish training them for the ministry they would soon begin that would become an influence to the whole world even up to our day which fulfilled (John 14:3).
Church, I remember the Lord showing me in a vision a sign that read, "read Luke 25 everyday" which really bothered me because the gospel of Luke ends at chapter twenty four, however careful study reveals that Luke the physician was the writer of the book of Acts, therefor we discover that Luke 24 ends with the Lord taking the disciples to Bethany while the book of Acts in chapter one, picks up in the same place except there in Bethany we find the Lord ascending into the Heavens from the Mount of Olives.
Dear saints and fellow peers, please take note that in chapter one we have Jesus who ascended into the Heavens now absent from the Earth but look church, we still find Lazarus alive and living a full life for all to see; yes beloved, the very ones who declared that the body of Jesus had been stolen by his disciples had to face the fact that Lazarus who had been dead and buried for four days was still alive living in Bethany with Mary and Martha.
WE NEED A SPIRITUAL CLEANSING
Dear reader, I always strive to give a remedy in my messages, especially if I expose or diagnose some problems in the church that need addressing and my being an evangelist or trouble shooter which can be illustrated by "someone hiring a professional electrician to diagnoses a problem that is stopping the flow of electricity needed to run a device" and when the problem is repaired, everyone is happy because the flow of electricity is now sufficient to run the device, have been led by the Holy Spirit to write this message encouraging us to keep praying and believing God that he will bring us some spiritual help in this dark trying hour that has come upon the Earth to try everyone both the good and the bad.
Beloved, it does not take a rocket scientist to diagnose the problem that is stopping the flow of the "Power of God" needed for revival in our churches today and to properly understand our problem which is sin, we need only to reflect back in previous generations of the relaxed standards including the decline of judo-Christian morals that has brought us to the dangerous world conditions that we now live in and face everyday.
Saints, I distinctly remember a newspaper that came out in the 1960's era which had the headline in bold type letters declaring that "the Living God is dead", and saints, It was then that the Beatles came over from England with their secular music infiltrating the hearts of our young teens and I remember one of the songs titled, “The Yellow Submarine”, which was a song having lyrics referring to the high that can be reached when experimenting with hallucinating drugs, however beloved, God began to work through the Christian populace by having a songwriter come out with a song stating "If God is dead, who is this living in my Soul?"
Beloved, let's look at where we are now in a society where half the people are begging for socialism and how far the moral standards of our nation have been let down by men and women who were supposed to be watching for our souls with congress passing laws upon the people but at the same time making themselves exempt from these same laws.
Dear Saints, because of the Luke warmness that infiltrated the church, we are living in an age of spiritual confusion and darkness, for we now have people that were born in the era called "the baby boomers" lived it up on college campuses with their free love including unprotected sex, were the ones mostly involved in the protest of the Vietnam War, and sadly beloved, we now have some of these same people holding offices in our government.
Church, we have managed to lose an entire generation and today, we have teachers using books in our school teaching evolution and denying Creation telling our young people that life does not mean anything; that we were merely a tadpole that came out of the ocean or the offspring from a monkey that climbed out of a tree which is really evolution taught by Charles Darwin who on his deathbed denied his own teaching confirming nothing could exist and remain in place without a divine creator.
Saints, we have a generation including leaders holding powerful positions in government, that have come forth making bold statements passing absurd laws which deny the very God that clearly showed his protection in the founding of this republic which caused such men as Benjamin Franklin to make the statement "It is undeniable that a Sovereign Being is responsible for the founding of this Republic and it would do us good to remember this formidable friend."
Dear saints, God helped establish a Nation that would be a safe haven for his church to take his gospel of the kingdom to a lost and dying world and beloved, America has been used of God to expound the good news of the gospel throughout the world for over two hundred plus years.
Beloved, did you know that our founding father George Washington, was surrounded by the British when a mysterious fog set in allowing he and his men to escape up the Delaware River and just when they got out of gun range the fog lifted allowing the British see them escaping, and beloved, without warning, a wind arose that kept the British ships from chasing them or we would probably be flying the British flag today instead of the blessed stars and stripes.
Church, the enemy decided that since we were a strong unified republic that was protected by a mighty power that had shown himself strong in our founding, that they would have to find a way to bring us down for our God was to strong to attack us and like Daniel of old, they decided the only way to get to us would be through our strong Christian morals.
Beloved, these evil minds bent on our destruction and way of life, schemed to find a way to indoctrinate our young to the point that this Sovereign Being would have to turn his back on us and beloved, that is what they did through the occult, our music, Hollywood and MTV.
Beloved, during the end of World War II, the industrial revolution set in taking mothers away from their children to make a living in the factories that were springing up throughout our land which left our young children growing up in this unsupervised era which left their little minds open allowing such demon infested programs such as MTV to raise our children and pollute their minds.
Saints, laws were passed that legalized abortion till 1.5 million babies were aborted every year while prayer was outlawed in schools and public gatherings leading to teens shooting it out in our streets and in our schools.
Church and fellow Saints, today, student rape, teen pregnancy, drug deals, muggings and school shootings are considered to be the norm of the day while the Holy Bible is being rejected by the secular humanistic school boards allowing pornography, secular humanism, occultism and Satanism to be the regular curriculum of the day.
Dear Saints of God and fellow peers, we have entered a time in history where we must have a Spiritual cleansing that will bring a visitation of God’s power to burst forth and vanquish the darkness of sin and declare the righteousness of Jesus and his Lordship as being the true light that lighteth every man that cometh into the world. (John 1:9)
Church, the problem today is people want a neat religion that they can control from their comfort zone but saints when the real cleansing fire of God falls, it will set the atmosphere and unmask the false, lift Christ up as Lord and reveal to us that what people thought was spirit was nothing more than their worked up flesh.
Beloved, did you know that throughout the history of Christianity, God has always had a people that are hungry for his righteousness, people that are seeking for more of Him and His word, yes beloved, people that are tired of church in the norm watching people leave church meetings more entertained than elevated, people that are settling for a weekend experience without suffering the agony of the cross.
Saints, these precious pilgrims of the faith have pushed to get behind the veil and explore the meaning of spirit baptism and spiritual gifts realizing that God has chosen His church as the vehicle to expand His Kingdom in the Earth. (Matthew 9:35) (John 4:27-38)
THE I AM GOD BECAME THE WAY
Church, it may seem dark with evil lurking around every corner but please know that God loves to dwell in the darkness and remember the scriptures found in (Genesis 15:17) how God met Abraham in the darkness and walked between the pieces of sacrifices appearing as a burning lamp establishing an everlasting covenant with him that only he alone would be able to honor and keep.
(Genesis 15: 9-17) (9) "And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon." (10) "And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not." (11) "And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away." (12) And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him." (13) "And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; (14) And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance." (15) "And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age." (16) "But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full." (17) "And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces."
Notice beloved that when the evening had come, God appeared in the form of a “smoking fire pot and flaming torch [that] passed between the pieces of the sacrifices but Abraham had fallen “into a deep sleep, and a thick and dreadful darkness came over him and notice in verse (12) that God alone passed through the pieces of the dead animals, sealing the covenant as an everlasting covenant, sealed by God himself.
Saints, nothing in this covenant depended on Abraham but everything depended on God, who promised to be faithful to His covenant for when God made his promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for him to swear by, he swore by himself that he would honor and keep the newly established covenant.
Beloved, Abraham was expecting God to show up in the day time and notice how he worked to keep the fowls from eating the sacrifices but beloved did you know that birds are unable to digest a seed and beloved I thought you might like that little truth especially when we give our seed to God and later, find out that the church or ministry we gave it too may have used it for their own purpose causing us to wonder if we sowed it into bad ground but beloved the word says that God loves a cheerful giver and our money does have a voice in the courts of our God who said that if we cast our bread upon the waters, it will return after many days.
(2 Corinthians 9:6-7) (Ecclesiastes 11:1)
Beloved, the next heaven-sent revival will defy science and medicine because the time has come where the medical field has lost its power to heal us fulfilling the prophetic word by great men of God such as Smith Wigglesworth and others.
Saints of God and fellow peers, I once wrote a journal entitled Dwelling in the Secret Place, and beloved, when we abide in the secret place with God, it is in this sacred place that we are hidden from the enemy and the enemy cannot touch us for beloved saints, there is a place in God where the forces of darkness cannot prevail against us because church, it is in this secret place that we find that we can pray effectively in the power of the Holy Spirit without fear because "God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, of love and a sound mind."
(2 Timothy 1:17)
OVERCOMING THE WORKS OF DARKNESS
Dear Saints, God’s word teaches that we can overcome the works of darkness through the abiding and indwelling presence of Christ within us because beloved, it is in this special intimate place of complete surrender that God gives us an indwelling strength to meet every challenge that may befall us.
Beloved, we find throughout God's Holy word writers exclaiming "Let the kingdoms of darkness be broken."
( Daniel 11:4 ) "Let the foundations of the wicked be broken." ( Ezekiel 30:4 ) "Let the kingdoms of Babylon be broken." ( Jeremiah 51:58 ) " Let all the bows of the wicked be broken." ( Psalm 37:14 )
Saints of God, please, remember to keep prayer alive in your hearts because prayer will command the forces of hell to stand still for when we abide in the secret place with God, we are hidden from the enemy and the enemy cannot touch us therefore in that secret place where we are hidden from the enemy the forces of darkness cannot prevail against us so therefore we can pray in the power of the Holy Spirit without fear because God has given us a sound mind and strength to pray in the power of His Spirit.
Saints, praying in the Spirit is allowing the Holy Spirit to direct our prayer which will raise up a powerful defense to defeat the powers of darkness and beloved saints, this takes place in the spirit realm through the anointing and indwelling presence of Christ within us who gives us strength to be an overcomer.
Saints, I remember having an interesting phone call back in 2021, concerning the future of America.
The caller said “Jerry, they are working to close our nation down and bring in their one world order,” to which I calmly replied to the minister that I do not wish to think this way for we are no different now than we were when the Wesley brothers arrived on the scene in England.
Beloved, did you know that prayer, consecration, and dedication caused the Lord to use these two men in the seventeenth century to start a sin awakening revival that changed the course of history and beloved, did you not know that the great reformer George Whitfield that was used of God to evangelize the entire northeast coast was birthed out of their ministry.
Dear saints, , we find in (Ezekiel 22:30) that God is looking for and needs someone to stand in the gap for the land that he would not destroy it and he found none therefore beloved, we now in this time and place in history, need some gap people that will not take no for an answer.
Beloved, the scriptures state that God looked for someone among the people who would build up the wall and stand before him in the gap on behalf of the land so he would not have to destroy it, but he found none.
Beloved did you know that the “gap” mentioned here represented the danger and impending judgement facing Jerusalem.
Church, God’s in this day of the pandemic and with all the fires, earthquakes, floods and famines, God's wrath is already breaking through in judgment on this sinful world and it is a shame that God found no one who would in righteousness, intercede on behalf of their city and nation.
Beloved, if someone had been willing to “stand in the gap,” the destruction of Jerusalem could have been avoided and since no one was available or willing to defend the breach and rebuild the wall, the judgment of God fell upon the nation, therefore beloved, one righteous person could have stopped the destruction of a whole nation.
In closing church, we can go to (John 19: 5) where we find Pilot declaring to the angry mob, “behold the man" referring to Jesus. (5) "Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man!"
Saints and fellow peers, the Apostle John included this salutation in his writings by inspiration of the Holy Ghost to show us that in referring to Jesus, "God provided the man to stand in the gap" for the land and beloved, that man is Christ Jesus our Lord who paid in full the sin-debt for all mankind and now is sitting at the right hand of God making intercession for us his children. A-men.
MY CONCLUSION
Church, it is time to wake up to the call and the task that is now upon us and strip ourselves from the love of this world including the love of self, Yes, and turn to the Lord with our whole heart with fasting and our prayers being saturated with our tears until we hear from heaven.
Beloved, let us remember that our view of the Living God will affect our view of our fellow man and remember that the word in (1 John 4:20) says, "How can we say we love God whom we have not seen and hate our brother whom we have seen who is made in his image and likeness?
Saints, it does not matter how strong we may think we are for we all have or will face dark times but beloved, it is in our darkest hour where we will discover we need the most strength, therefore beloved, the power unleashed with the mindset of a made up mind that will not give in to outside pressure and not give up when things get hard, will serve to strengthen and restore our faith.
Beloved, when all hope seems lost with no good end in sight, just remember beloved, it is in our darkest hour that our true character is displayed because beloved, it is in our darkest hour with nothing but bad news coming from a thousand directions that we hold on to his promise that he will never leave us but go with us all the way even to the end of the world, yes beloved, we do like the old shipment would do in the midst of a storm which was to tie themselves to the big mast of the ship to keep from getting washed overboard, and beloved, we have his promise in (Psalms 46:1) that "God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in the time of trouble" therefore beloved, let us in these trying times with trouble on every corner, keep fighting the fight of faith as we hold on to his everlasting arms because many facing what we are facing today, lose hope and give up.
Beloved, we may make many mistakes, but that does not define who we are for what matters most is that we have the courage to believe (Jeremiah 29:11) ESV "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."
Saints of God, did you know that it is always when we are at our lowest point, beloved, usually just when we are just about to give in, that the miracle happens, therefore saints of the Living God, may we hold on just a little longer for we are nearing the end of the day of grace and his coming may be sooner than we think.
