GOD's WORD is POWERFUL. We know it made alive in us when reading it and a verse seems to jump off the page and into our heart. That is the work of HOLY SPIRIT, but there's more to learn here. Learn to SPEAK, HEAR, WRITE and RELEASE GOD'S WORD with AUTHORITY into your life and surroundings as you increase in faith.

RELEASE YOUR FAITH BY DECLARATION

SPEAKING THE WORD is actually part of biblical meditation
Joshua 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
Joshua 1:8; the word “meditate” is actually the Hebrew word “hagah” which means to mutter or speak to oneself. “to chew on it”.
Hannah (Samuel’s Mother) was seen by Eli the priest muttering and thought to be drunk. 1 Samuel 1:12-18
DECLARE, BELIEVE, RECEIVE
Mark 11:23-24
23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
RELEASE GOD’S POWER AND LIFE
Mark 4:39 Then He (JESUS) arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.

Broad Creek Boys Scouts – Royal Rangers Camp Out
As a commander of my church’s Royal Rangers program, the ‘304’, we were on an annual camping weekend Rally (roughing it) in Broad Creek, Harford County Maryland. It was a retreat for Royal Rangers, a sort of Christian Boy Scouts, where several hundred boys from groups all over Maryland converged for an annual get together. During our time there, a Severe Thunderstorm came through the area producing fierce lightning and a mighty wind which knocked down trees in its path. When it hit us, the sky blackened as if it were night. The boys, other commanders and I were huddled under our canopy when a sudden wind picked up and tossed those holding it down. Tarps, tents, tables, chairs and even some of the boys were thrown by the force of the winds. It was a terrifying storm and we could not get to the shelter. I had the boys hunker down together in a group in the center of our camp, and the sideways rain lashed out and pelted at us by the sheer force of the winds while lightning hit trees around us, splintering them and causing branches to fall upon our camp. We needed help fast.
So I began to pray, Shouting to be heard over the storm. “LORD GOD in the Name of JESUS, Make This Storm STOP!”
And it happened…absolutely immediately…at the utterance of the word “STOP”…the thunder, the lightning, the wind and the rain all STOPPED instantly!
Within seconds, the clouds rolled back, the sun brightly beaming and the sky as blue as ever. There was not a cloud to be seen from our camp area. We were told to go to the shelters and wait out the storm for the remainder of the warning. But the skies remained clear and the sun shined on, we never saw any more of that storm. And as for myself, and all the boys and commanders, we truly realized that we had witnessed the POWER of GOD in that very moment. It is an amazing testimony of the POWER of PRAYER and the POWER OF GOD. We will never forget it.
UNDER HIS UMBRELLA, GOD REIGNS and HE ALONE, BY HIS AUTHORITY CALLS THE STORMS IN LIFE INTO SUBMISSION…THAT’s Why We Praise HIM!
Matthew 21:19 And seeing a fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, “Let no fruit grow on you ever again.” Immediately the fig tree withered away.
John 11:43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!”
Acts 9:33-34 33 There he found a certain man named Aeneas, who had been bedridden eight years and was paralyzed. 34 And Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you. Arise and make your bed.” Then he arose immediately.
Thought: A storm doesn’t have ears and the dead can’t hear, but JESUS released the POWER of GOD through the spoken word.

AUTHORITY OF GOD’s WORD
Matthew 8:8-13
8 The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. 9 For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
10 When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel! 11 And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. 12 But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” 13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that same hour.
RELEASE THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT
Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;
THE FOUNDATION OF GOD’S WORD – LOOSING AND BINDING
Matthew 16:18-19
18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
PRAY AND DECREE ACCORDING TO GOD’s WILL
1 John 5:14-15
14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
GOD’S WILL BE DONE…HERE AND NOW
Matthew 6:10
10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.
DECLARED INTO EXISTANCE FROM NOTHING
Romans 4:17 (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;
Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

NOW IS THE TIME – TODAY IS THE DAY
2 Corinthians 6:1-2
1 We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain. 2 For He says:
“In an acceptable time I have heard you,
And in the day of salvation I have helped you.”
Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
WAKE UP AND SEE GOD’S GLORY – SHINE ON!
Isaiah 60:1-2
1 Arise, shine;
For your light has come!
And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.
2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
And deep darkness the people;
But the LORD will arise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you.
REJOICE – TODAY IS THE LORD’s DAY
Psalms 118:24 This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.
