Beloved, the Greek word Paul used in this verse actually means "To be deceased or dead"."

(10) "Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church."
PREFACE SUMMARY
Dear reader, I do not know where to start to begin writing on this message for all through my life's experiences, I have either been involved in or witnessed such atrocities as church splits and people that are supposed to be examples, cause disturbances in houses of worship and with no convicting conscience, do it in front of the lost not realizing that God will take you out of this world for hurting the lost quicker than anything else you can do.
Saints, the church was borne in power and we are each chosen by God to fill the right place in the body of Christ and no one else can do what we have been chosen to do for God foreknew us before creating us in the womb therefore, the bottom line is, "he wants us to flow in the body and fulfill His call upon our life."
Beloved, one of the problems in todays society is that some have developed pride and thought they could isolate themselves from the body and build their own kingdom going so far as to call themselves "God's man or woman of the hour.
Dear reader, this mindset causes them to be isolated from their covering and leads people to associate their gifts to the person and not the body, and did you not know that God sees all of us as one body which is "the body of Christ on earth?
Beloved, because of the Luke warmness that has infiltrated many of the churches today, we have slipped into an apostasy of spiritual confusion with a darkness so thick that people have started calling good evil and evil good.
Saints, we now have people that were born in the era called the baby boomers that were involved in the protest of the Vietnam War that had a reputation for living it up on college campuses exploiting their free love and unprotected sex.
Beloved, did you know that we now have some of these same people that lived in that era of history now holding offices in our government?
Dear reader, we have teachers using books in our schools teaching evolution while denying creation telling our young people that life does not mean anything that we were merely a tadpole that came out of the ocean or the offspring from a monkey and recently did you know that they are attempting to bring drag queens in our schools right before our young children?
Beloved, the bottom line to this message is people have spent to many nights sleeping with the devil allowing MTV and other ungodly TV programs raise their young children which has helped groom the children to become rebellious teens with no respect for the life of others but sadly beloved, some of these confused people have grouped together to form their own religions they call holy which is total blasphemy in the eyes of a holy God.
Beloved, do you not know that the Holy Spirit is called Holy for a reason and God declares in his word that if you insult or grieve his Holy Spirit, you have just caused the God of creation to become your enemy? (Isaiah 63:10)
Dear reader, in this message we are going to be speaking about the six sins listed in (Proverbs 6:16-19) that the Lord hates with the seventh sin being described as an abomination to the Lord and sadly beloved, there are a lot of people guilty of this last sin calling themselves Christians while causing havoc in churches throughout the world but God strictly warns that it would be wise if they did not partake of his holy sacrament service in this condition.
Saints, our prayer should be for God to send a powerful earth shaking revival where his holiness will unmask the pretense we witness in some churches today of what people are calling worship when in reality it is nothing more than a show of worked up flesh full of pride and deceit.
Dear reader, I ask that you prayerfully have patience with me through this message and read it with an open mind as through the help of the Holy Spirit, I minister on the seven sins that God hates including one that he calls an abomination which should serve to sound a solemn warning to all who would wish to ignore them thus grieving his Holy Spirit having him become their enemy.
SINS THAT GET GOD'S ATTENTION
(Proverbs 6:16-19) (16) "These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:" (17) "A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood," (18) "An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief," (19) "A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren."
1. (A proud look) Having a high opinion of oneself or self-centered – Haughty eyes
2. (A lying tongue) The fall of man began with a lie misleading the truth
3. (Hands that shed innocent blood) Taking the life of an innocent person – The blood has a voice land will pay for the shedding of innocent blood.
(Numbers 35:33) "So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye are: for blood it defileth the land: and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it."
4. (An heart that deviseth wicked imagination) (Proverbs 15:26) "The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the LORD: but the words of the pure are pleasant words."
5. (Feet that be swift in running to mischief) (Isaiah 59:7) "Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths. A false witness shall not be unpunished, andhe that speaketh lies shall not escape."
Dear reader, did you know that when the wicked thoughts and imaginations are formed in the heart, the feet are quick to carry them out such as worldly places etc?
6. (A False witness that speaketh Lies) (Proverbs 12:22) "Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight."
(James 4:11) "Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge"
7. (He that soweth discord among brethren) Disrupting or causing a disturbance in the body of Christ which in God's eyes is declared an abomination.
Dear reader, did you know that some people just cannot see or accept any good in anything that others may do and accomplish unless it was their idea thus becoming guilty of climbing up the ladder of success at the expense of others?
Beloved Saints, while praying to write this message, my mind reminds me of the six sins listed in (Isaiah 5:8-23) that angered God so much that he caused a whole nation to go into captivity for seventy years?
Dear reader, do you remember while in captivity that the people asked the children of God to sing a song from their homeland and the people replied that we have hung our harps on the willows for how can we sing a song of Zion while in captivity?
Beloved, I often wonder if the seven sins listed in this message described in the book of (Proverbs 6:16-19) lead into the six sins mentioned in (Isaiah 5:8-23) which caused Israel to go into seventy years of captivity?
1. (Greed) (Isaiah 5:8) "Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth!" "By foreclosing mortgages, the wealthy land owners acquired adjoining land for their own gain."
2. (Pleasure Seekers - Taking Pride in Sin) (Isaiah 5:18) "Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope:"
3. (Twisted Moral Issues) (Isaiah 5:20) "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!"
4. (Accepting Bribes) (Isaiah 5:21) "Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!" "Instead of listening to God, the leaders consulted with each other and made decisions based on their own human wisdom."
5. (Drunkenness) (Isaiah 5:22) "Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:" "People were so addicted to alcohol that they begin their drinking as soon as they wake up in the morning, and continue late into the night."
6. (Perverting Justice) (Isaiah 5:23) "Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!" "The judges who were supposed to enforce the law used their authority to free the guilty and punish the innocent."
THESE MOUTHS MUST BE STOPPED!
Dear reader, the seventh sin listed in this message is a person that would sow discord or cause trouble among the brethren such as disrupting the body of Christ which God calls an abomination.
Saints, the word "abomination" is described in the dictionary as a thing (action) that causes disgust or hatred!
Beloved, did you know that this sin or transgression if not atoned for, will cause God to turn his back on an individual including severe judgment on those guilty of this sin?
Beloved, in continuing this study, we need to go to (3 John 9-10) which will give us the description of a man called Diotrephes which was used of Satan to hinder the work of the Apostle John.
(3 John 9-10) (9) "I wrote unto the church but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not." (10) "Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church."
Beloved Saints, did you know that there is an actual record in history concerning the Apostle John speaking of how he encountered trouble with this arrogant leader described as Diotrephes?
Dear reader, it is sad that a church that is supposed to be a light to a dark world has some among its leaders that have the characteristics of this trouble maker called Diotrephes.
1. Power and position were more important to him than the truth of spreading the gospel to help change the lives of others.
2. Prideful and let leadership go to his head that everything is all about him.
3. He did not acknowledge the leadership of other Godly people.
Beloved a person with characteristics like this man spend most of their time trying to convince others that they know more than the head anointing God placed over them who do not understand and realize that they are fighting against the very anointing that they are sitting under.
Dear reader, there can only be one head and the anointing flows from the head down and not from the body up to the head.
Beloved, did you know that there are people sitting in churches even in our day that are sporting the characteristics of Diotrephes and I know of one such incidence that took place when a local pastor of a good sized church was visiting some people living near a red light district which was known for its reputation for prostitution and drugs?
Dear reader, when the pastor had finished his visit and was attempting to leave, he found that his car was failing to start so he called one of his deacons to come take him home and left his car parked at the residence but did he get a surprise when he attended services in his church when everyone was looking at him funny?
Beloved, the story goes that an elderly lady from his church had noticed his car parked in that district and started making phone calls to other members that she was in the district visiting a relative and noticed the pastors car parked there and beloved, she was quick to tell them that it was way after midnight.
Dear reader, the pastor was so hurt by this woman's claims that had disrupted his whole church that he called a deacon friend to come pick him up and bring him back home which was late at night but the dear pastor had parked his car in the trouble makers driveway so she would have some explaining to do the next day and did you know that he never did have any more trouble out of this lady.
(1 Timothy 5:13) "And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not." "Those who spend much time talking about other people’s lives need to get a life of their own but the real warning is that they had better not partake of the Lord's supper if guilty of this sin for if they do, they will be dishonoring the sacred service and bring damnation upon their body.
THE SIN THAT CAUSES ABOMINATION
(Esther 7:1-2) (1) "So the king and Haman came to banquet with Esther the queen.' (2) "And the king said again unto Esther on the second day at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition, queen Esther? and it shall be granted thee: and what is thy request? and it shall be performed, even to the half of the kingdom."
(Esther 7:3-4) (3) "Then Esther the queen answered and said, If I have found favour in thy sight, O king, and if it please the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request:" (4) "For we are sold, I and my people, to be destroyed, to be slain, and to perish. But if we had been sold for bondmen and bondwomen, I had held my tongue, although the enemy could not countervail the king's damage."
(Esther 7:5-7) (5) "Then the king Ahasuerus answered and said unto Esther the queen, Who is he, and where is he, that durst presume in his heart to do so?" (6) "And Esther said, The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman. Then Haman was afraid before the king and the queen. (7) "And the king arising from the banquet of wine in his wrath went into the palace garden: and Haman stood up to make request for his life to Esther the queen; for he saw that there was evil determined against him by the king."
(Esther 7:8) "Then the king returned out of the palace garden into the place of the banquet of wine; and Haman was fallen upon the bed whereon Esther was. Then said the king, Will he force the queen also before me in the house? As the word went out of the king's mouth, they covered Haman's face."
(Esther 7:9-10) (9) "And Harbonah, one of the chamberlains, said before the king, Behold also, the gallows fifty cubits high, which Haman had made for Mordecai, who had spoken good for the king, standeth in the house of Haman. Then the king said, Hang him thereon." (10) "So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king's wrath pacified."
The Importance of The Golden Sceptre
(Esther 5: 1-2) (1) "Now it came to pass on the third day, that Esther put on her royal apparel, and stood in the inner court of the king's house, over against the king's house: and the king sat upon his royal throne in the royal house, over against the gate of the house." (2) "And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre."
Dear reader, all through the scriptures we can discover that God worked in types and shadows of things to come and we can better understand the importance of the golden sceptre by reading in (Numbers 20:8) where we find God instructing Moses the second time to speak to the rock which represented Christ because Christ would only be struck once referring to the crucifixion thus in referencing the King extending the Golden Sceptre to Esther would give us a view of God extending Jesus as that Golden Sceptre welcoming us the redeemed of the Lord into his presence and fellowship.
Beloved Saints, we have explored some of the sins that God hates because they work together to disrupt the preaching of God’s word and cause confusion among the body of Christ.
Dear reader, did you know that the writer concerning the sixth sin we studied, stated that God hates it but beloved, the last one mentioned which is a person that would sow discord among other believers is listed as abomination in the eyes of almighty God?
Beloved, did you know that the type of person practicing this sin, causes God to abhor and disgusts him to the point that mercy is on a fine line including instant death?
Dear reader, in closing I will try to reveal what his Spirit has revealed to me concerning this important message which I do not take lightly and I sure do not want to insult or grieve his Holy Spirit for he is everything to me.
Beloved, in more than (35) years of ministry, I have watched these sins disrupt, cause confusion and even to the extremity of closing the church, the ministry and even an entire organization because leaders did not try to cut the serpents head off when it first appeared through one of the members.
Beloved, this last sin declared by God to be an abomination, is described as a person (busy body) allowing the enemy to disrupt the harmony and unity in a church body something like the working of a Jezebel spirit causing confusion, division, strife, jealousy, tale-bearing including forming their own little cliques among the Saints of God.
Saints, did you know that people who behave in this manner do not have and are not led by the blessed Holy Spirit. but are declared to be a stink in the nostrils of God who will be cut off without remedy?
Dear reader, may I ask you some very important questions that I believe can shine light on this entire message concerning just how dangerous sin is to the believer and what about the scripture found in (Proverbs 6:27) "Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?"
1. What happens when God turns his back on a person guilty of the seventh sin that (Proverbs 6:16) declares to be an abomination in the eyes of God?
Beloved reader, did you know that Spontaneous Combustion happens when something is so close together like wooden poles stacked on top of one another or clothing so closely packed together that air is unable to get between the clothes which can cause heat so great that it can start a fire, and what about hay or straw that is in a closed place and without warning the heat is so hot that it starts to produce smoke which can lead to a fire?
2. What causes a person to burn up on the inside and never catch anything on fire such as burning through a chair in their home without catching the house on fire or walking down the street and suddenly something happens in their body and they begin to burn on the inside?
Beloved, I do not have all the answers or even have proof that my theories concerning someone crossing this line with God will suffer instant judgment but just like the soldiers covering wicked Haman who no longer was worthy to be in the presence of the king, there are and have been instances of people that with no reason, catch on fire with their internal organs becoming the fuel that is feeding the fire till they are consumed.
Beloved, this should give all of us a wake up call that we must reverence and respect almighty God as the standard for all things because beloved, all creation both seen and unseen are dependent upon him to sustain it but he does not need anything to sustain him, for he is not confined or restrained by time, distance or the law of physics because with just the word of his mouth, galaxies and worlds were formed.
THE JEZEBEL SPIRIT EXPOSED
Dear reader, is it not true that sometimes in life, we encounter some difficult times, causing us to get upset with those who caused our problems or we may even get angry with ourselves questioning if God truly loves us especially if we witness or encounter those who love to sow discord among the brethren?
Beloved, did you know that Asap who was one of the worship leaders for Israel, questioned God on why the ones that do evil seem to be the ones that prosper, however beloved, he changed his mind concerning the prospering of the wicked when he received the revelation from God that they will come to an unexpected end?
(Psalms 73:1-20)
Beloved it is imperative that we pray to know and experience the peace of God in everything that we attempt to do for there are many distractions the enemy will use against us to get our eyes off our assignment and one of them will be people that are either sent in by witch covens to join our church or those that do not want to pay the high price to walk where we walk, but instead give in to a jezebel spirit which actually convinces them that they are better and more prepared to lead than the one God appointed.
Dear reader, did you not know that a person operating in a Jezebel spirit, will come in and be faithful in the church attempting to be known among the members even going so far as to visit with them in their homes but the entire time they have an agenda and it will not take long for their true colors to be exposed?
Beloved, after making friends and visiting with different families in the church, they will begin to spread gossip such as telling a family that they are visiting with that one of the other families had said some bad things about them which when the next time that they are in service together, they will be acting strange toward the family that was supposed to have said bad things about them but that family that is innocent will not even know why they are starting to distance themselves from them.
Dear reader, did you know that after causing trouble in the church which causes the pastoral leadership to wonder what is going on, the ones operating in the Jezebel spirit will attempt to convince the church leadership that the pastor is the problem and they need to ditch them and put them in their place but if the church should get rid of their good pastor and vote them in, the demons controlling these evil people operating in a Jezebel spirit will cause problems for anyone that attempts to get them out of office thus the end result will be a once thriving church will now be left to its own demise.
Saints, its so sad that many churches today will fall for anything including witches that will come in and join their church and the leadership does not have enough discernment to know the difference.
These evil people will come in as faithful members to gain the trust of pastors who are so over-worked who without spending time in solitude with God, will vote them into church positions and do not know that they just voted demon led people into office until it is too late.
Beloved Saints, I cannot help but think of the movie called "The Lion King" where the uncle allowed the Hyenas to come in and ravage their food supply thus upsetting the balance of nature causing hunger until the real son of the Lion king defeated him and took back leadership gaining the trust of the kingdom.
Beloved, God states in his word that the sinner cannot sit in the congregation of the righteous and did he not say that judgment must first begin with the righteous and if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the sinner and the ungodly appear?
Beloved reader, I always like to leave a way out when writing about the calamities we face in church today and the bottom line to this complete message would be, "those who preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, must be sensitive to the timing of the Lord and have their spiritual ears tuned to what the Lord is saying by maintaining a disciplined prayer life or a set time to be alone in solitude with God."
Saints, to be successful in ministry and to properly discern those that would come into our midst with ill intentions, our prayer time must come to a place in our life that it is not what we do but who we are, and let us not be concerned about what man will think about us for man is not the one who will be signing our report card, therefore, may we come to a place where God can trust us to win the lost at any cost.
MY CONCLUSION
Dear reader, if the message has touched your heart, what would be wrong with closing your eyes and ask God to show you the plan he has for you before you were born, then ask him to forgive you for your sins and ask him to come into your heart and live his life through you?
Beloved, did you know that God is waiting for you to surrender the rights to your life unto him, believing that Jesus who knew no sin was made sin for you and if you believe that Jesus died on that Roman cross in your place, believing that God raised him from the dead, beloved you can be saved? (Romans 10:9-10)
Dear reader, right now tell the devil that you do not want him or his dressed up schemes, and pledge your allegiance to God and his kingdom, asking him to make your life count and you will find a God that is willing to forgive your sins and be a father to you like you have never known for beloved, his love is an unconditional love that never fades.
Dearly beloved, if you have once known the Lord and you feel that you would like to get back into fellowship with him, all you need to do is repent and do your first works over for he declares in his word that "He is married to the backslider."
Beloved, did you know that God states in his word that he will restore the years or time that our bad choices & decisions have caused us grief and hurt? (Joel 2:25)
Beloved reader, I want you to know that our God is a restorer of the penitent, and you have not lost anything through those years but you have received a good education which has helped mature you to be a better person.
Dear reader, did you know that if we were allowed to go back and retrieve those so called wasted years, we would get what messed them up, but if we let God retrieve them, he might had to reconstruct some things, but he can make all things new including marriages & relationships?
