Hey Pastor, What kind of sheep do you have?
Ezekiel 34
Pastor, The people who come to your church or ministry do not belong to you. They belong to The MOST HIGH and HE has strict requirements of how you are to care for them. They are not pew fillers, cash machines, wedding material, numbers in a register, social media followers, church workers or whatever other title you have given them. They are children of The M|OST HIGH. And you will give account for what you do with each and every one of them.
This sermon is written in the hope that you will make an effort to understand the people who come to your church or ministry and in the hope that you will align your service to the MOST HIGH in accordance to HIS dictates and that you will care for HIS children, these children who are so dear to HIM, HE gave HIS life for them. So, quit the theatrics , selfishness, get some love and compassion from The HOLY SPIRIT and start caring for the sheep, the ones you wounded , the ones others wounded. The ones you chewed and spat out. The ones you drove from the fold. The ones you killed and ate. You keep on behaving like a monster towards the sheep and lambs of The MOST HIGH, a David will come and pull them out of your mouth and kill you. Remember, that there is a day when you will have to account for all who came your way as HIS sheep.
I have even had the misfortune of seeing pastors who curse, threaten and pray against the people in their ministries. Maybe its lack of understanding. Maybe you were never called. Let's learn from The MASTER, JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF, HE did not pray against or curse Judas, as it was written about Judas so it became.
So, let’s get to understanding the children of GOD. It’s not hard. We will use the template of the children of GOD and some people in the Holy Bible.
Category 1- The Elishas , Elijahs, Daniels and Sarahs
? You may wonder why they are so special. Believe me, these sheep may not feel that special contrary to appearances. They have real fears (Elijah) and could lash out. (Sarah and Hagar) . But GOD loves them, uses them, favors them and is known to zealously defend them.
? The MOST HIGH is with these at all times even when they make what we may see as mistakes. Remember, The MOST HIGH does not see as man does.
? They are lone rangers but the armies of heavens and angels are always around them, hovering.
? Annoy them at your own risk
? Let them be
? Can be called for purposes of understanding “ the brats of heaven”
? When they cry, cakes are baked, fiery chariots are prepared not to mention fire and bears coming out of the sky and forests. When they laugh, know that GOD is in their house eating lunch, preparing to add to their laughter.
? Don’t be jealous of these, even you love your children differently for different reasons and purposes
? Benefit from these and their unique relationship with The MOST HIGH and their unique purposes
? They do not want anything in return from you
? They are prone to bouts of depression
? Lead them carefully
? They do not want much maybe just to be understood
? They eat strange diets, not your average pizza loving church member
? They are pillars and very reliable
? Don’t cross them or you will be lion food or The MOST HIGH HIMSELF will visit you with a message saying, “ you are dead!”
? Better restitute where you have crossed the line, maybe that’s why you are barren, like the kings who tried to take Sarah. Hmm! Just saying.
Category 2-The Peters and Joshuas
You have these , you are blessed.
? Zealous, faithful and dependable
? They abandon you when it seems like you are not delivering them and yourself
? However, when they return, wow! They will die for you
? Have a penchant for violence and will willingly carry arms and use force.
? Great impactful leaders
? Note: Both their predecessors have books in the Bible. In fact Peter has two.
Category 3- Judases
? Very handy
? Love money but work very hard not to show it, usually in the finance and serve as treasurers
? Always bright ideas that go nowhere, church bills still the same and in some cases wasted
? Suicidal
? Never ready to do their work always looking out for ‘opportunity’
? Always hanging out with strange and wicked people , sometimes people more wicked than them
? They look put together but are very likely to end up in hell
? Smooth and eloquent but with deadly bite
? Are really sorry about their actions but do not know how to repent, receive mercy and forgiveness, keep reassuring them and ask The LORD for how to deal with Judases. Remember, revenge is The LORD's alone.
With these, pray and pray for them. Be faithful with your tithe, offerings and alms. The LORD will rebuke the devourer on your behalf. Pray for them that The LORD will have mercy on their souls.
Category 3-Davids
? Praise and worshippers
? Will fight anyone against them and win maybe because The LORD inhabits their praises and as such is always with them. But they have deadly internal battles which only The LORD can reveal to you and resolve. Perhaps its due to a feeling of entitlement because of the closeness they have to GOD.
? They really love GOD
? When they pray and sing halleluYAH expect a response
? They revel and bask in the fact that they are blessed , loved and needed by GOD
? Are keen on justice
? Can easily fall into sin and bring judgment on themselves and others
? The MOST HGH loves these so much HE personally chastises them and they themselves choose HIM to punish them, they leave it to HIM to decide the punishment on themselves and their descendants. The MOSTHIGH blesses them phenomenally and calls HIMSELF ,SON of David. Amazing!
? Aren’t they poetic and lyrical? Can lament, praise and ask GOD to punish their enemies.
? Loved by all especially the opposite sex. Need to be careful in this area. Too many choir –out-of wedlock pregnancies.
Pastor, perhaps you need to call them every week and preach endlessly about immorality and idolatry.
Pastor, because of their unique gifts, the modern day Davids are like magnets to all sorts of prophets . Pray that they are not enticed, spiritually used, abused and dumped, most likely dumped back on you.
Category 4-Moses
? Stammering searchers
? The MOST HIGH will reveal HIMSELF to them and instruct them patiently
? Intercessors-give life lessons on intercession- I mean how many of you will die for your congregation. Do not raise your hands
? Look like nothing good can come from them
? Come from dysfunctional and confusing backgrounds
? Born in deadly circumstances
? Hated and criticized by almost all but they carry divine purpose and instruction and walk in The LORD
? Studied successfully in the school of affluence and affliction. Lessons come in handy
? Stand against them when in leadership at your own peril- the earth will swallow you
? Extremely Beloved and used by GOD
? Zealous for the purposes of GOD
? These go and stay with GOD for long days, people even forget they existed and think they died, are easily written off but to make things more interesting and to see what is in your heart there is always a Brother Aaron somewhere.
? Stay with Moses you may just find yourself having lunch in heaven
Category 5-Adams, Lazaruses, Abrahams
? The ones The MOST HIGH likes to visit
? Cool guys
? Minimal drama
? When they fall, they fall but The SAVIOR is their Friend, no worries, for we know there is not a FRIEND like JESUS , I don’t like the lowly part, they is nothing lowly about HIM especially at this time. Someone change the lyrics.
? Don’t be surprised to find The MOST HIGH relaxing in their presences and or houses and having a bite
Category 6-Jeremiahs, Isaiahs, Pauls and Ezekiels
? Carriers of The WORD of The MOST HIGH, always hearing from The LORD directly
? Greatly persecuted with seemingly no remedy
? Sometimes they are not aware of the call on their lives, they don’t know and walk around believing they are prayer items
? Always submitting themselves for prayers with no tangible results.
? Pastor, with these, ensure they are fed, housed, use our authority and connections to hide and protect them
? They are usually shunned, exiled, looked at with incredulity
? Taken for lunatics
? Thrown into pits
? Sawn into two,
? Killed
? Marital troubles-widowhood, singlehood- all GOD ordained
? Pastor, encourage these, stand with them, let them speak the word given them. Use discernment to determine source. To deal with these you must have The HOLY SPIRIT. Must.
Category 7-Johns
? These dear ones like being very close to The SAVIOR, always resting on HIM
? Can’t kill them, try boiling them, it wont work. They are firm and steadfast and just love the LORD and The LORD loves them and will not let you or anyone else kill them.
? Can be very annoying and are exiled frequently even by you and other church members. Yes, Pastor, go bring them back from Patmos, you will learn something .
? Keep seeing weird visions which no one understands unless they really seek to understand.
? These visions are really clear to them and they can write and describe them very well
? They need guidance about t heir gift and should be encouraged to write down their dreams and visions, to keep dates and times and places where they received the vision
? Some pastors have handed over their ministies to johns and the prophetic voices without the balance and presence of The HOLY SPIRIT with disastrous results
? Johns are revelators and writers, with maturity and support of Peters and Pauls they can serve as Pastors.
? Make sure Johns are very close to JESUS CHRIST
? Ensure they read the gospel of John daily
? They make looked spaced out and out of place ,indeed out of this world.
? They like cozying up to the pastor. Pastor, be like JESUS and love them , let them be close to you, they are greatly beloved
? If Daniel had a fraternal twin, it would be John
Johns are very loving people. They stick closer than brothers and fulfil requests. Are likely to stick with you when all hell has broken loose and all have abandoned you. John will take care of your abandoned, traumatized weeping mother, yes, that's John, and that's why you will love him , that's why you should love and treasure him and keep him close. Since you are not JESUS CHRIST our KING apply discernment first before handing over your life and kingdom.
Category 8-Thomases and Bereans
? Always questioning
? Want proof
? Easily discouraged
? Don’t worry Pastor, The LORD always shows up and lets them touch HIS wounds then they believe and go to far flung areas to tell about HIM, after all they have proof.
? In HIS time, The LORD makes all that concerns them beautiful and HE will appear to them.
? Many of these go around with the title Apostle
? Great missionaries
Category 9-Solomons
? Have everything handed to them on golden plates
? Seem to get away with anything based on their ancestry and the goodwill their fathers had with The ALMIGHTY
? Pay attention to these darlings of YAHWEH , they need help in finishing well
? Prone to making all sorts of alliances
? Very likely to compromise and backslide
? They can inspire jealousy due to their wisdom, favour, good looks and wealth
Category 10-The thieves on the cross
? Have remarkably evil pasts
? They may be dying because of their past
? May or may not be remorseful
? Usually in great torment, don’t forget The LORD is always near them waiting for them to call on HIM
? They are very likely to die and are on their death beds
? They need mercy and compassion
? Help in surrendering to CHRIST
Category 11-Balaams and Sauls
? Love and use the occult secretly or openly
? May appear to have discarded witchcraft but are likely to still fall back on it
? Very disobedient
? Will do things their own way
? Are chosen but somewhere along the line , things fall apart
? Love power and political rulers
? Cavort with haters of children of GOD and are likely to join these haters
? Will not change even if they see a miracle like a donkey speaking or even if GOD HIMSELF talks to them even if GOD lifts them, even if GOD sends them a Samuel
? Leave them in GOD’s Hands. HE will show mercy to whom HE will show mercy.
? They are masters of their own doom and destruction unless for the mercy of GOD
Well, as The LORD said, there are three thousand who have not bowed to Baal, so there may be other children of GOD not described here.
Which one are you? A mix? Look at your members, which ones are they? You don’t know? Find out and treat them right, care for them and set them on the right paths.
Let us all be careful not to break our FATHER’s heart. The LORD has trusted us with these HIS sheep. Let us exercise patience and understanding. Best guidelines, if you were that particular child, how would you want The MOST HIGH to handle you? Write it down, now go forth and do likewise.
Imagine if the Moseses interceded for Adams and Solomons. If the Joshuas stood with the Moseses, if the Johns and Peters and Jeremiahs worked without fighting. Imagine if everyone just did their part with understanding without envy or malice. For goodness sake, let’s stop the public fighting and squabbling. Beloved, The Kingdom of YAHWEH is among us.
We are all gifted and loved beyond or imagination and comprehension, let us show this love to our brethren.
Figure out who you are, master it and live it. Ask The HOLY SPIRIT to reveal HIS purposes for creating you.
May The MOST HIGH bless you and grant you understanding.
Beloved, the scripture informs us, "And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire." Revelation 20:15.
Do you want to know JESUS as your personal Lord and Savior? Your eternity is at stake! JESUS has opened the door of salvation to every person. But there is coming a day when the door will be closed. Today is the day of salvation. Choose to be in the family of GOD. JESUS died so that we can spend eternity in Heaven with HIM. Don't delay! And if you want to begin a relationship with GOD or resume a broken one, say this: O GOD, I come to YOU today. I know I am a sinner. I believe that JESUS died on the cross to save me and HE resurrected on the third day. I repent of my sins and forsake them. I confess JESUS as my LORD and SAVIOR . I invite JESUS into my heart. By this prayer, I know I am saved. Thank YOU JESUS for saving me and making me a child of GOD. Amen
