It’s all in the plan
When I began to seek the Lord Jesus I asked Him, Lord what is it you want me to tell your people? Then I allowed Him to direct my path and God said tell them the truth, as long as it is the truth I will back you up. So the scripture came to me..
Jeremiah 29:11
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
First of all God said, “I know the plans I have for you..,”. What are plans I asked myself, and Webster says it like this; plans mean :design or make a plan of (something to be made or built).: "they were planning a garden". synonyms: design, draw up, sketch out, map out.
I then perceived that we are a creation of God’s, and He has designed us for a certain task. We have been built for His use and pleasure and we are yet on the Potter’s wheel. We are a building not made by man’s hands. We were design from the image of God, for God, to do the will of God. We are God's plan.
Then the scripture says,”declared The Lord”. In other words he formed a decree with this statement. He said,” plans to prosper you,” He wanted you to be successful not only in your spirituality, but also in business, marriage, family, church and the things of this world. He wanted us to be someone in the gospel as well as in our homes. He wanted you to be respected in your communities and succeed in your work to persuade souls to the kingdom. He had plans to use you, but in order for you to be used, ( I wanna be used by you, use me Lord.) we must be expurgated. In other words you must be washed in the Blood.
Yes sir you must be made whole. You must be clean. No one wants to drink water out of a dirty glass. No one wants a steak served on a garbage can lid. No one goes to church looking for a stripper, or a Harvey warbanger drink. But the plan of the church was to worship Christ.And in order to worship him you must be born again.
I got news for you baby your plans may look like cotton candy, they may taste like cotton candy, but if it's not God's plan then you're just destroying your life. Try this candy instead, for He's sweet I know. Oh taste and see that The Lord is good. He's sweeter than The honey in a honeycomb.
The bible says that the plan was not to harm you. God didn't send this preacher to harm you but to help growth continue in the church. He didn’t send His Son to harm you, but to save you from your sins. He didn't give you the ten commandments to cause you harm, but he did so that you would have a guide to the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
In 3 John 2-5
2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.
God’s plan was to give us hope and a future. Hope that one day in the future we shall walk with Christ in the new Heaven and the New Earth. This is where Jesus came in. Because in our bible’s it teaches us in John 14:6 Jesus said “That I am the way the truth and the life..”, He is our hope, our future, our plan, our way, our truth. Without Him the songs saids I can not do nothing. Why, because He knows all about you, He created you and he has a different plan for your life.
It was in the plan for Christ to go away, and to come back. It was in the plan for Judas Iscariot to betray Him, and then to regret his decision to do so. It was in the plan for Peter to follow Him and then deny Him. It was in the plan to walk this earth for 33 years, and then die for your sins and mines. I come to tell you today saints of God, that it’s all in the plan.
Jeremiah 1:5 The bible says,“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart, I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
God had a plan for your life before you were even born. He set you apart from the others. Now watch this,...you are a holy person , you’re a strange person , you are peculiar child of the king. God knew the plans He had for you. Plans to usher, plans of a deacon, plans to sing in the choir, plans to minister to children, plans to be a caregiver or to shelter the homeless.
That is why people think you are strange, weird, or funny. Because you are not like others, the plans God has for you requires a special kind of person. He said you was set apart, you belong in his assemblage. That is why we need to be careful of what we say about others, especially preachers. Moses’ sister and brother tried that and look what God did to them because they talk against the man of God. Or the bear that rip the children up. Look it up…..
There are times when things don't go according as plan . But usually it's because we have steered ourselves away from God's plan unto our own. The Prodigal Son had a plan of his own life different from God's plan. Christ had him setup to receive money, land, and cattle. A prosperous life. But he had a plan of his own….tell them about the prodigal son’s rise and fall.
See I come to tell you today Pilgrims Rest, that if you would have stuck to God's plan you wouldn't have had to hide your car behind your moma “em house. If you would have followed God's plan your lights would still be on. If you had followed God's plan you wouldn't have to disguise your voice when the bill collector called. If you would have followed His plan, the satellite bill would be in your name and not Keshun”s name. If you would have follow God’s plan you wouldn’t have backslidden into a life of drugs, alcohol, and deception. Yes, if you would have follow his plan maybe your cancer wouldn’t have came back.
These things happen because we avoid Christ plan for our lives and began to develop our own righteousness, while pretending that it is God’s will. If we stop deleting Christ instruction and start being consistent and obedient, then like the song writer say, He’ll do just what He says. Look what the scripture says;
Proverbs 16:9 9 A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.
It is because we are enticed by our own lust, that we are pulled away from God’s plan.
Often time we will try to develop our own way. We began to make our own plans for what we want from life, forgetting that we have been bought with a price. Forgetting that the very hairs upon our heads are number. Forgetting that we belong to God, for it is he that has made us and not we ourselves. And for that reason and reasons along the body of Christ begins to suffer. Just like Christ has a plan for us He also has a plan for the church. And because the church is one body, when you become stagnant, The church suffers. When you talk about me and I talk about you , the church suffers. When you pay some tithes and I pay none , the church suffers. When we fail to be chastise and don't accept God’s punishment, the church suffers. When you turn a deaf ear to the man of God, the church suffers. And when the church suffers, people leave, stop believing, don’t join, and no witness for Christ are born , no disciples are made or drawn to the church.
But it’s hard to draw people into the house of God when people in the church is sitting around all pruned face, looking mad about nothing. It is hard to draw people into the house of God when so call people of God are whispering about others in there face just loud enough for them to hear, just to discourage them. It is hard to draw people in the church, when people of the church are using four letter words that should be left in the gutter. It’s hard to draw people to Christ when homosexuald and lesbieans are leading our people. It’s hard to get Beyonce in the church when she know you're going with Mary J Blige husband. It’s hard to get people to serve and praise God when half the choir was at Ray’s boom boom room Saturday night. It’s hard to get people in the church when you’re raising hell instead of ushering. It’s hard to draw people into a church where there is no love. Even the rapper Drake knows that God has a plan and there's no love when you wishing bad things on your brother man.
Actress/songstress Tamela Mann not only knows God has a plan, but she says God has a Master Plan. The bible teaches us that God is Love, and with love and kindness is how people are drawn to Christ.
I want you to know that I love you Pilgrims Rest, and for that vindication along I must tell you the truth.
We must realize that the plan that God has for us centers around the plan that Christ Jesus died for thousands and thousands of years ago out on Calvary. It’s not by mistake that I am here today, nor you for that matter. But my steps, the deacon steps and your steps were order by the Lord.
The bible teaches that a good man's steps are ordered by the Lord.
This past Monday 15 of January 2018, I participated in MLK march there in Choctaw County, there I realized that it was all in the plan for we as a people to go through the hardship and trivial moments in our lives and that of our ancestors. So that we may cleave to the righteousness of God and look to the hills from which cometh our help knowing that all of our help comes from the Lord. I realize that the same dream that MLK had for us is the same plans that God had for our lives. God must have given him his vision. Why you say, because..
He wanted to see us as a people and people of God, walking hand in hand no matter what color or creed. He wanted every nation to serve one God which is He. He wanted us to work together as a people in the workplace, and he wanted equality for everyone. He wanted us to get to the promise land and that the whole world shall be free. Most importantly He wanted every man to love the Lord God with all his heart soul and mind and His neighbor as himself. This is God’s plan, and my life is God’s life.
But I want you to know today, God has a ultimate plan for your life. There are 3 keys that are in the plan for your life and mine. I would like you to focus on these three things as people of God.
1)*To know God’s word= 2 Timothy 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2)*To keep God’s Commandments= John 14:15-16
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever;
3)*To be witness for Jesus Christ=Acts 1:8
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
In conclusion; God has a daily blueprint for your life that He is unfolding it before you. Nobody else can fulfill your specific destiny. Trust the Holy Spirit to lead and empower you, and you will succeed in fulfilling the Lord’s mission for your life , and if you acknowledge Him in all your ways he will direct your path. It's all in the plan….
Today it’s in God’s plan for you to get saved if you do not know Christ. It’s in his plan for the backslider to come home. It's in his plan for the broken hearted to be amended. Today is your day for restoration, deliverance and healing...come. Come to Jesus, Come to Jesus , just now, just now…. He will save you...
