Genesis 28:14
And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE DIVINELY EMPOWERED?
To be divinely empowered is to receive grace and favour of the Lord for successes in life. It is moving from a point of little begining to an overflowing blessings by the power of God.
It could mean removing devourers from attacking our resources according to Malachi 3:11 where God said:
And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.
It could mean receiving restoration for your wasted years as promised in Joel 2:25
And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you
WHO CAN GIVE DIVINE EMPOWERMENT?
1. GOD
Only God has the power to give divine empowerment.
Psalms 24:1 says The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
Then God said in
Haggai 2:8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.
2. YOURSELF
You can empower yourself or keep yourself in poverty according to:
Proverbs 6:10
Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
And
Ecclesiastes 5:12
The sleep of a labouring man is sweet, whether he eat little or much: but the abundance of the rich will not suffer him to sleep.
Hear this advise:
Proverbs 6:6-9 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest. How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?
3. YOU MUST BE READY TO SERVE
Everything in life is learned. Jesus said anyone that must be a master, should first be a servant. This is why the yahoo yahoo boys of today make billions in an hour and still end in poverty. Getting wealth and retaining wealth must be learned. Submission to authority and accepting to be taught helps one to be empowered in due time.
WHAT MUST I DO TO BE DIVINELY EMPOWERED
1. YOU MUST KNOW AND REMEMBER GOD
Deuteronomy 8:18 But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
Jabez in 1 Chronicles 4 called on the name of the Lord God of Isreal.
2. YOU MUST DO OR HAVE SOMETHING
2 Kings 4:1-2 Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.
And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil.
Very interesting. Someone said, my huaband is dead, he died in debt, creditors want to take my children to be slaves and I want you to help me, then she gets this reply; what do you have. This is the principle the banks use today. They call it equity contribution. If you invest nothing you reap nothing. The principle of empowerment is that of investing. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 9:6
But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
3. YOU MUST PAY YOUR TITHE
Malachi 3:10
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
4. YOU MUST PRAY AND COMMIT YOUR ABILITIES AND DISABILITIES INTO GOD'S HAND
Jabez asked and received of the Lord, Hannah asked and received of the Lord.
I heard someone say, a closed mouth is a closed destiny. If you dont ask how can you get? Jesus said in
John 16:24
Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
5. YOU MUST BE DILIGENT
Two major major keys to succcess in life is deligence and consistency.
Proverbs 22:29
Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.
6. YOU HAVE TO SOW IN TEARS
We are but custodians of God's gifts unto us hence when we give back to God, it must be qualitative.
Psalms 126:5 says
They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
David said
2 Samuel 24:24
And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.
2 Corinthians 9:6

Luke 6:38
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
7. CHANGE YOUR THINKING PATTERN AND CONFESS POSITIVELY
Faith is believing that what God promises must come to pass. So being positive in our thinking helps in no small way to bring about the manifestations of God's promises.
Proverbs 23:7
For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee
8. CONTACT AND CONNECTION
The right contact will bring the right result. Lot was blessed because of Abraham.
Genesis 13:5-6 And Lot also, which went with Abram, had flocks, and herds, and tents.
And the land was not able to bear them, that they might dwell together: for their substance was great, so that they could not dwell together.
9. BE AT THE RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME
2 Kings 8:5-6 And it came to pass, as he was telling the king how he had restored a dead body to life, that, behold, the woman, whose son he had restored to life, cried to the king for her house and for her land. And Gehazi said, My lord, O king, this is the woman, and this is her son, whom Elisha restored to life.
And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed unto her a certain officer, saying, Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now.
10. YOU MUST INVEST WISELY
No doubt, a wise investment with the backing and blessings of the Lord will bring about very positive empowerment for God blesses every of our labour.
Luke 8:5 say
A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.
11. YOU MUST GROW YOUR RESOURCES
Matthew 25:15-16 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.
Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.
12. YOU MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE
Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
The story of the man who caught fish worth 14 million dollars but shared it with his people only to live in abject poverty. Be a master in your field. Paul said to Timothy, Study to shew yoursef approved unto God, a workman that needed not be ashamed rightly diciding the word of truth.
13. BUILD FOR THE LORD
Building for the Lord opens doors of opportunities and wealth. In
Nehemiah 2:20,
Nehemiah said
Then answered I them, and said unto them, The God of heaven, he will prosper us; therefore we his servants will arise and build: but ye have no portion, nor right, nor memorial, in Jerusalem.
14 CONNECT TO THE MASTER KEY - JESUS
Jesus has the master key to open the doors of divine empowerment. The Bible says in Revelation 3:7
And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
You want to be empowered, invite and accept Jesus now, into your life. Today is the day of salvation.
