The word of God records the truth about who God is and it is also written in the same word that it's only the fool that would say that there is no God - Psalm 14:1. God is real and alive and there is definitely no other God than our God. He alone created the universe and all that we are seeing in our world today.
God is God and there is no other God than Him. There are so many things that reveal that we have a living God and not a dead God. He sits on His throne and looks down on earth and sees everything that is going on here in our realm.
Scriptures about the might of God.
Psalm 19:1
The heavens declare the glory of God;
And the firmament shows His handiwork.
Hebrews 11:3
By faith [that is, with an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of God] we understand that the worlds (universe, ages) were framed and created [formed, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose] by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.
Isaiah 45:12
I made the earth and created man upon it.
My hands, stretched out the heavens,
And I commanded all their host.
Genesis 1:1
In the beginning God (Elohim) created [by forming from nothing] the heavens and the earth.
Nehemiah 9:6
[And Ezra said],
“You are the Lord, You alone;
You have made the heavens,
The heaven of heavens with all their host (the heavenly bodies),
The earth and everything that is on it,
The seas and everything that is in them.
You give life to all of them,
And the heavenly host is bowing down [in worship] to You.
We can see without any shadow of doubt that God is the original creator of the earth and this simply means that all power is in His hands and let's remember that He created it all for us to enjoy - Psalm 115:16.
The love that God as for us is unimaginable, for Him to create this universe for us was created out of His love for us and He put us in it to enjoy the benefits of all that He created. God is awesome and powerful, he lives in us and wants us to live as children that He abides in. We have the power of God in us and He desires us to use his power purposefully by doing His will here on earth, that will bring the kingdom of God here on earth. The plan of God is that His kingdom will be revealed here on earth through.
God is mighty!
Having God Himself living in us and doing His will here on earth will bring glory to His name, for we have a God that is full of might.
Scriptures on God living in us
Ezekiel 37:27
And then I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “See! The tabernacle of God is among men, and He will live among them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them [as their God,]
Revelation 21:3
And then I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “See! The tabernacle of God is among men, and He will live among them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them [as their God,]
John 1:14
And the Word (Christ) became flesh, and lived among us; and we [actually] saw His glory, glory as belongs to the [One and] only begotten Son of the Father, [the Son who is truly unique, the only One of His kind, who is] full of grace and truth (absolutely free of deception).
1 Corinthians 3:16
]Do you not know and understand that you [the church] are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells [permanently] in you [collectively and individually]?
The power of God is in us and as we trust in His power in us, His will will be manifested in us in every area of our lives. God in us is also His power in us. Every plan of God for our lives as been put in us from the time that He created us - Jeremiah 1: 4 - 5. And whatever we are going through now on earth will not stop the plan of God in our lives.
God Himself is mighty and as His beloved children He will use us here on earth no matter what we are seeing now or where we are. In His perfect timing His plan will bust forth and the gates of Hell will not be able to prevail against His plan for us - Matthew 16:18, because God is mighty in us and through us.
Every will or plan of God cannot but come to pass in our lives, when He is the All - powerful God, can anything stop God? I do not think so. In the book of Exodus 14 we can see the power or might of God at work.
Exodus 14
The Red Sea Crossing
Now the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: “Speak to the children of Israel, that they turn and camp before Pi Hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, opposite Baal Zephon; you shall camp before it by the sea. For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, ‘They are bewildered by the land; the wilderness has closed them in.’ Then I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, so that he will pursue them; and I will gain honor over Pharaoh and over all his army, that the Egyptians may know that I am the Lord.” And they did so.
Now it was told the king of Egypt that the people had fled, and the heart of Pharaoh and his servants was turned against the people; and they said, “Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us?” So he [a]made ready his chariot and took his people with him. Also, he took six hundred choice chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt with captains over every one of them. And the Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued the children of Israel; and the children of Israel went out with boldness. So the Egyptians pursued them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, his horsemen and his army, and overtook them camping by the sea beside Pi Hahiroth, before Baal Zephon.
And when Pharaoh drew near, the children of Israel lifted their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them. So they were very afraid, and the children of Israel cried out to the Lord. Then they said to Moses, “Because there were no graves in Egypt, have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you so dealt with us, to bring us up out of Egypt? Is this not the word that we told you in Egypt, saying, ‘Let us alone that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than that we should die in the wilderness.”
And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”
And the Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward. But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea. And I indeed will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them. So I will gain honor over Pharaoh and over all his army, his chariots, and his horsemen. Then the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I have gained honor for Myself over Pharaoh, his chariots, and his horsemen.”
And the Angel of God, who went before the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud went from before them and stood behind them. So it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel. Thus it was a cloud and darkness to the one, and it gave light by night to the other, so that the one did not come near the other all that night.
Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided. So the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left. And the Egyptians pursued and went after them into the midst of the sea, all Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.
Now it came to pass, in the morning watch, that the Lord looked down upon the army of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and cloud, and He troubled the army of the Egyptians. And He took off their chariot wheels, so that they drove them with difficulty; and the Egyptians said, “Let us flee from the face of Israel, for the Lord fights for them against the Egyptians.”
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the sea, that the waters may come back upon the Egyptians, on their chariots, and on their horsemen.” And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and when the morning appeared, the sea returned to its full depth, while the Egyptians were fleeing into it. So the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. Then the waters returned and covered the chariots, the horsemen, and all the army of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them. Not so much as one of them remained. But the children of Israel had walked on dry land in the midst of the sea, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.
So the Lord saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore. Thus Israel saw the great work which the Lord had done in Egypt; so the people feared the Lord, and believed the Lord and His servant Moses.
We can see God's power at work in the crossing at the red sea and till today if we look around us, His power is continuously at work in the earth and in our lives.
The power of God will always show up in our lives by believing in Him and having faith in who God is to us. If we see God as a God that is not able to do mighty things in our lives, then eventually because of that place where we have put Him, that is what we will always see come through in our lives, but if we see Him as the Almighty God then we will see His power in our lives, working for us because of how we decide to believe of Him.
God is mighty!
He said to us in Jeremiah 32:27 that He is the Lord, the God of mankind. Is anything too hard for me? This is God saying to us that there is nothing too hard for Him as God to do. We need to embrace this truth and see His power at work in every area of our lives. God is true and does not lie - Numbers 23:19; Hebrews 6:18. When He speaks He does what He says and nothing can stop His power in our lives if we allow His power to manifest in our lives it will.
God is who He says he is and as His children we have His authority in us to do great things here on earth that will bring His kingdom purpose to be seen here and in or lives. Every season has it's own purpose and that purpose is for God to be known here on earth.
God is mighty and in our lives we shall all see His power at work in us. Remain blessed always. Amen
