A Love Story For Dummies
If I were to tell you this morning, if you know Jesus you have access to it! And immediately you would begin to wonder access to what?
If I were to tell you, it was the most freely given and withdrawn thing in the whole wide world and also the most misused and abused, would that give you a clue?
Also that there is an abundance and both a lack of it, in the world today but it always gives more than it receives?
What is it? Its Love, and right along with it, stuck to it and inseparable from it, is Grace. Love is grace and grace is love!
Both definitions are very similar and even though the world may not be aware of that fact, both gifts for humankind are in super abundance.
Because God has chosen to give them endlessly, to all who will accept them with no strings attached.
No matter what, or if any response is given in return, God just keeps on giving and extending them unconditionally and staying true to His word.
Gods form of love is known as an agape love! A love that is not sexual constantly looking for gratification, but wholly selfless and spiritual, not determined by the actions or deeds of others!
This is the purest form of love known to mankind, that’s the kind of love God loves us with!
Did you know that most people (and were talking about a vast majority of all people including Christians) never fully walk in or receive all that God has for them, because they don’t really realize or accept, how much He truly loves them.
The most amazing thing about God‘s love is, He loves us solely based on that premise alone, just because!
Its kind of like getting a raise at your job, even when always clocking in late for work without an excuse and your not even related to the boss.
But they say we’ll give it to you anyways, even though you’ve done nothing to deserve it, “just because we want to!
And you say thank you, no questions asked and you immediately start to enjoy the benefits, even though you don’t deserve them at all?
It doesn’t even enter your mind, the fact that you don’t even deserve them, But yet you’re free then given an unlimited quantity! How is that possible? How’s come, that would be such an easy scenario for anyone to participate in?
But tell me why, when God has offered His wonderful Love, Grace and Favor for being on His team, mankind walks away empty handed more times than not, feeling unworthy to receive them?
Listen up, I want you to know and understand one of the most amazing things ever revealed to mankind!
God loves you enough, no matter how you may feel or if you will ever reciprocate or not, to go ahead and give His Goodness to you anyway!
Even when you don’t think you deserve it, Praise God!
You know, Hollywood has made some of the greatest love stories of all time, into movies and shared them with the world. But, all of them combined fail in comparison to the Love, God has continually shown for mankind and the Love He has for you!
John 3:16 NKJ
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Why did God give His only begotten Son? Only one reason, simple yet so complex, because He loves us!
A person will never walk in, realize and enjoy, all that God has truly given to them , until they completely understand, “How much He Loves them!”
Matt. 25:29 NKJ
29 ‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away.
Have you come across people who have little and hold it tightly in their grasp? Yet, even that little is taken away from them?
On the other hand, there are those who already have much, they freely give, yet they receive even more.
Jesus said, “To everyone who has, more will be given. From him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away.”
Notice, Jesus isn’t explicit in detail, as to saying exactly what it is we have.
He quite simply says, “But to everyone who has.”
Has what you ask? Is it something tangible?
I’m so glad you asked, Why yes, it is! Its as real as the clothes on your back, the watch on your arm, or the ring on your finger!!
I believe “It” is God’s authoritive word on the subject!
Jesus is talking about a firm belief in God’s Word that gives one the courage to say, “I have it!” and I am willing to put my faith and trust in it!
To proclaim Gods blessings and benefits over everything I have, or ever will have!
Knowing and believing this realization is powerful! It will open up doors of opportunity and allow you to start living the God sized Dreams that He has for you!! Praise God!
For past year, more than we have ever noticed in our lifetimes, death has been beating on the door! The entire world has been under the thumb of oppression, condemnation and death from the accuser. For those who do not know the word of God, or have realized and experienced the love of God, these are tumultuous times!
You will never hear the accuser, or the media, or anyone else proclaiming protection, or a blessing over your life, the way God has provided for you, or the way the word of God Proclaims for you!!
You see, in your life, what anyone else says or thinks about your situation, doesn’t matter! It only matters what “God says, and what you say” and believe” about your situation!
And were talking about God’s authoritive word here, and we know He certainly wants you to have a blessed life! Not a run for the hills oh my God its coming after me, life of fear! Or God would never have had promised deliverance in the first place!
If you say, believe and trust God you will have a blessed life, you will and more will be given to you! Now some of you might be thinking to yourselves, that comes off sounding just a little bit arrogant and confident?
Maybe so, but it’s not of an arrogant privilege of entitlement! It’s a confident privilege of entitlement!
my bible tells me in,
Ephesians 6:11&17 NKJ.
11. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
17. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God
That confidence comes from Gods word on the subject and He wants us to have great confidence in the relationship we have through His Son Jesus as the guarantor, of every promise God has ever made to us!
TBS. in Romans 8:32 NKJ
31. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
32. He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
What exactly is all things?, here is the def. of all: The core meaning is, a grammatical word used to indicate that the whole of a particular thing, amount, group, or area is involved or affected!
You see, God wants you to have confidence in and believe what His word is proclaiming to you! He wants you to have that kind of feeling about His promises and possessing them too!
God’s desire for you, is to realize His Amazing Grace and Goodness to become woven into and as a part of the fabric of your inner being, so that you know that you know that you know!
God’s Word is amazing, it’s the 8th wonder of the world, wait a minute, its not the 8th wonder of the world, it’s the wonder of all wonders of this world and what is yet to come!
It makes me wonder why more people are not fully embracing the abundant life, God has both given and provided for them to walk in and live!
Listen up church, cause you aren’t going to hear this out on the street like you would hear about a government entitled program!
The devil does not want you to walk in and despises the day when you finally realize you can have and are entitled to all of God’s blessings.
And if a person is not in agreement with God for the plan He has for their life and a life of abundance, they walk the fine line of agreeing with the world and the accuser.
TBS You got to stand for something or you’ll fall for everything!
The best advice we could ever gift the entire world, is to stop inadvertently being in agreement with the accuser! Even the accuser knows it takes two, to be in agreement and he knows how to take advantage of every situation!
When you need something, God says get in agreement with Him and what He has promised in the Word! Knowing when you ask of Him, He will deliver, what you ask!
Mark 11:22-24 MSG.
22-24. Jesus was matter-of-fact: "Embrace this God-life. Really embrace it, and nothing will be too much for you. This mountain, for instance: Just say, ’Go jump in the lake’—no shuffling or shilly-shallying—and it’s as good as done. That’s why I urge you to pray for absolutely everything, ranging from small to large. Include everything as you embrace this God-life, and you’ll get God’s everything.”
Realize and start saying you already have Gods everything, get it in your spirit and realize and grab hold of, hang on and don’t let go of the fact, that you have “it”
Even if you don’t see it in the physical immediately, remember you have Gods word on the subject and that’s all you need!
Hebrews 11:1-2 MSG.
1-2. The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It’s our handle on what we can’t see. The act of faith is what distinguished our ancestors, set them above the crowd.
Faith in God, is what made Abram, Abraham! It certainly wasn’t his actions! It was God’s love for him and God‘s promise to him, the enabled him to become the father of many nations!
Romans 4:17-18 MSG.
17-18. We call Abraham “father” not because he got God’s attention by living like a saint, but because God made something out of Abraham when he was a nobody. Isn’t that what we’ve always read in Scripture, God saying to Abraham, "I set you up as father of many peoples"? Abraham was first named "father" and then became a father because he dared to trust God to do what only God could do: raise the dead to life, with a word make something out of nothing. When everything was hopeless, Abraham believed anyway, deciding to live not on the basis of what he saw he couldn’t do but on what God said he would do. And so he was made father of a multitude of peoples. God himself said to him, "You’re going to have a big family, Abraham!"
If God says your blessed, believe it and you will be!! Its time to quit being, just another face in the crowd! It’s time, that every Christians face stood out in the crowd and their testimony of God‘s blessing on their life was the reason!
The story goes...
Ill. A father and son were raking leaves when they noticed something darting in and out of the piles. After careful effort they uncovered a chameleon .
It was difficult to see among the brown leaves. It had blended with them by turning brown, too. After catching the little creature, they put it in a jar of green grass, where it immediately turned green.
When they added some red berries, the chameleon began to take on that color. It just kept changing, to blend in with its surroundings.
Some Christians are exactly that same way, they have blended in with the crowd of the world for so long, they have become the same as their surroundings!
Acts 19:15 NKJ.
15. And the evil spirit answered and said, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?”
You can’t base your relationship with Jesus on someone else’s,
You have to seek out the word of God and what it says for yourself.
I mean think about it, if 5 different people heard the same story,
you would inevitably have 5 different versions as to what exactly happened.
The relationship that you have with Jesus and have been given, is the most beautiful love story of all time! One that is not based on your actions, deeds or indiscretions, but entirely based on His Love and the Fathers Love for you!
You might say God made it goof proof! One could easily write a book about it and call it, “a love story for dummies”

You see, God wants you to have confidence in and believe what His word is proclaiming to you,
Jesus is your “All” things,
*all your salvation,
*all your healing,
*all your prosperity,
*all your strength,
*all your wisdom,
*all your patience,
*all your everything and more, Praise God!!
When you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, He became all those things for you, providing you with unlimited and undeniable access to each and every one of them!
