Christians should NOT Open Demonic Doors
There are many ways to get into trouble with the demonic these days.
Today, I want to focus on the Four demonic things that will lead you astray.
1 Timothy 4:1 (KJV) Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
First, I'd like to Express how important it is to understand that Many people who called himself Christians Are not Actually Christians. Just because someone says they are, doesn't mean they are.
1 John 4:1 (KJV) Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
I say this because when you are in a conversation with someone, and they identify as Christians,
we tend to give them more slack. We tend to believe them more.
It adds weight to their argument. So, be careful and try the Spirits
Secondly, just because someone says they believe in Jesus
doesn't mean they believe in the Jesus of the Bible.
There are churches that don't recognize Jesus as Lord and Savior.
Some people believe that Jesus is a created being,
which is not consistent with what our Bible teaches us.
Some people believe Jesus is angelic, just like Gabriel and other angels.
You know that this is not consistent with Scripture.
Some believe Jesus was a good man that lived on Earth.
Jesus was not an average good man.
The Bible tells us that Jesus is God.
You must be careful not to take things at simply face value.
You must be able to see where people are coming from
What their beliefs are
That’s way I usually ask someone who is sparring doctrinal differences with me, what their denomination is.
Because I want to see where they are coming from in a general sense.
There are so many people who are being led astray by groups which give themselves a label as Christian churches.
But they are actually following doctrines of devils.
1 Timothy 4:1 “that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils”
With this in mind, there are some things that we as Christians should not engage in.
The first one is a blood covenant.
Don't let anyone deceive you that a blood covenant with another person is a way to strengthen love or the best way to seal an agreement.
Many people don't know much about blood,
we just believe it as a fluid that is in the human body flowing through our veins.
Blood is much more than that.
Blood is life.
There is life in blood, and it has the mouth of its own
blood can speak!
When Cain killed Abel in, the blood of Abel spoke out from the ground to God
Genesis 4:10 (KJV) And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.
Now, I have always thought of this as an anthropomorphism and should not be taken literally.
An anthropomorphism is attributing human traits to a non-human entity.
Like, the “hand of God” – God is Spirit and has no hand, but we get the point.
The problem with this thinking is that the Bible should be taken literally.
So, whether this be a literal physical voice or the fact that blood was spilled,
and the act of spilling that blood cried out to God in an anthropomorphic way,
Either way it still speaks to God.
And that’s the point.
There is a reason why the blood of goats and bulls are being used for cleansing in the Old Testament.
It is because blood has life in it.
The life in the blood of goats and bulls will replace the sins the OT saints have committed.
But this was a temporary arraignment to meet the requirements of sinning against God
and that is why greater blood came through the blood of Jesus Christ.
As the song goes, “The Blood will never loose it’s Power!”
So, when you make a blood covenant with another person or an object, or even a god,
demons will hijack it because they need life to operate.
You may think you were making a simplistic covenant with a person,… “no harm done”
but you are also making a covenant in the presence of demons.
When the covenant is broken, the blood will speak under the influence of demons.
This has put so many people in trouble.
The problems might not start immediately.
They might start when you have forgotten about the covenant,
a teenage boy and girl fell in love when they were in high school.
They felt nothing could come between them because they were in love.
They made different promises to each other.
One day after watching a film, they got the idea of a blood covenant.
They made the blood covenant that they will never leave each other no matter what happens.
They saw this as an ordinary covenant.
They felt they could break it anytime they wanted.
After they went to college, they broke up.
These two people died mysteriously the same way and on the same day.
Have you made this kind of covenant before?
Have you used your blood to promise someone something?
you need to break that evil covenant right now
It is a dangerous thing you have done.
It is never too late to replace the blood of an evil covenant with the blood of Jesus.
Hebrews 12:24 (KJV) And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
The second think we as Christians should stay away from is Summoning demons.
When you make a blood covenant with someone you are summoning demons.
There is no such thing as a friendly demon.
TV shows might try their best to portray demons in a lovely manner,
but demons are real, and they come to do three things according to the Bible
to kill, steal and destroy
people may summon demons for various reasons.
Maybe for money, healings, or fame.
I believe that Satan can genuinely give people what they want in this world.
Satan is the God of this world,
and we see that he can offer the kingdoms of this world.
Matthew 4:8-9 (KJV) Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
I know that this may mess up someone’s theology,
but the devil would never have offered that to Jesus if he could not do it.
As children of God, we don't summon demon!
We don't play games associated with demons.
We don't negotiate or talk with demons.
Many of these people don't know that demons will not give them something
without taking something much more in return
Many people have sold out their souls.
Trusting in demons rather than God.
Their whole attitude toward God changes and they no longer feel impressed by the Holy Spirit.
They have given the devil total control of their lives.
There are people who will go to spiritual mediators or spiritual advisors.
You may think only unbelievers do this,
but I need to let you know that Christians do this too,
but they don't want people to know.
They play with astrology and ask other people what sign they are.
That is a great test to know someone is playing around with demons.
If they ask you what sign you are, you know they are subject and open to the daemonic
whether they realize it or not.
Some people go to church, but they still summon the demons.
They still consult demons.
Some pastors are performing miracles using the powers of the demons.
Many Christians also play all these paranormal games, both video and board games,
where they summon demons, and they believe it is just a game.
These games are not ordinary, they are demonic
And if you are doing this, you are doing demonic things.
You need to stop playing these games.
You will see people with cards, and they summon the demons.
They think some of the words they have spoken are ordinary,
but the demons are present in their midst's already.
Church, I want you to know that you are not of the devil
and the only person you should be calling on is the Lord.
The Bible says call on the name of the Lord, not the devil.
What fellowship hath light with darkness?
You are the light of the world,
and you should never be part of those who summoned demons for fun, or healing,
and some other temporary benefits.
Run from these things and save your life.
Run from these things that can give demons access to your life, your family, and every area of your life.
The third thing is making evil sacrifices.
There is only one sacrifice that has been made by God and that is Jesus dying for your sins.
The sacrifices Jesus made was made from love for you.
This sacrificed covered many things.
He became poor so that you can be rich.
2 Corinthians 8:9 (KJV) For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.
If anyone is telling you to kill an animal to make sacrifices, they're not doing it for God.
God doesn't accept that.
There are no sacrifices of animals that we need to do in the Christian walk.
This may seem bizarre to some of us but, believe it or not,
there are so-called Christians in this country and around the world that are doing this
and thinking they are being obedient to God
Some may not physically kill animals, some just wash blood on their dog because, you know,
dog spelled backwards is god. Sick!
The killing of animals for your sins is a substitution that is no longer needed.
When people do this, they are saying that Jesus is not good enough.
His blood is not good enough.
So, they will find substitutions for the blood of Jesus or the presence of the Holy Spirit.
It’s shocking to see how vulnerable people are to these snake salesman preachers,
not preaching the word of God and substituting the things of God for great gain.
One example is an article intitled, “South African pastor farts on people's faces 'to heal them'”, Pastor Christ Penelope sits on the heads of people at “Seven Fold Holy Spirit Ministries” in Siyandani Village, Limpopo, South Africa. The article goes on to say, “Pastor Penelope has defended his methods, insisting that he is simply demonstrating the power of God.
"It started with Master Jesus when he stepped on Peter. It is the demonstration of God's power. Just like God made Adam go into a deep sleep, it is a similar thing. God did anything with the body of Adam while he was on the ground in deep sleep. He was not feeling anything. The Bible doesn't say anything about Adam saying 'God, you are hurting me'," the pastor told South African magazine Drum.
That is one example of people not accepting God’s sacrifice and attempting to do something on their own
to replace the blood of Jesus or the Holy Spirit.
Christians have been deceived to do things like this in many different forms, such as;
Reaping and sowing in order to shake down the congregation for money.
Alternative meditation like yoga rather than meditating on the Word of God
The misapplication of tongues and interpretations in order to show spiritual dominance
Substituting divine healing for antics such as this South African Pastor did
All of which substitute the finished work of God
All of which is denying God and therefore rejecting Jesus as your savior.
Some offer sacrifices and they are washed with some ungodly materials claiming they have been washed by God.
If it is not baptism by water, done in the biblical way, ran from it.
This is not the time to be ignorant of the vices of the devil.
This is not the time to give all these false prophets the chance to make us fall into demonic things.
We need to start running from them.
The fourth thing Christians should not participate in is, consulting sorcerers or Spiritual Advisors.
It is a pity that those who are called Christians are leaving Christ to go and consult sorcerers for help.
Some, so called Christians are also doing this because they want something,
and they feel God will not give to them.
A young lady was sharing a testimony of how she gave her life to Christ.
One thing she mentioned is that on more than one occasion when visiting a diviner for help,
she would run into a lady who was also there for help.
She found out later that this was the wife of a Pastor of a church with 10’s of thousands of members.
I don't know why it is so hard for us to trust the Word of God and wait on the Lord.
Why should you allow yourself to be scapegoats to the devil when you consult him?
Why should you allow yourself to be tossed around by the devil?
Enough is enough.
We Christians must not practice this.
Deuteronomy 18:10-13 (KJV) There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, 11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits (familiar spirits are demons that knew your deceased loved one and is acting like that person in order to win your confidence and lose your faith in God), or a wizard, or a necromancer (Magician). 12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. 13 Thou shalt be perfect (blameless) with the LORD thy God.
If you remember in 1 Samuel 28, King Saul called up Samuel through the witch of Endor
Because he became impatient with God and wanted an answer right away.
and God took Saul’s kingdom away.
I know you might have been praying for something for a long time.
That doesn't mean you should think God cannot give you what you have prayed for.
Wait on the Lord.
Psalms 27:14 (KJV) Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
