We have come to this day for many of years almost more than many we can count and when we enter the mundane shores of this place called earth in our corner of the world celebration was already in progress. We do thank God for those vitally important corner stone and pillars of our culture and our families, we are appreciative that God has decided to implement a role within the scheme of the human grouping with a name similar to the one he chooses to use for himself.
I believe that every father should recognize early on that you have an identity with the father, while you are just a father, you have been allow to be called what he has asked us to call him. And I think in just in that honor alone it ought to cause us to rise to higher levels of accountability, answerability, responsibility and liability. To know that God has given me the chance to be called what people call him.
I listen to people praying, and they pray father; you know that we need you, father you’ve been there all of the time, so fathers just as God has highly lifted you up, just as God has exalted you by giving you a name similar to his own, and with such an exalted name we must seek to live an exalted example. Where shall we find our examples? We can only find our examples in the example of the father. Because if you are going to be a father, then you need to know the father, so that you will know what kind of a father you need to be.
While many of us have decided to check-in, monitor, to measure and evaluate our roles of the secular stereo type standards, of the secular world, many have allowed our presidents to be set by them. Instead of going to church, we go to jail, instead of coming to bible study we rather go to the clubs, instead of tasting of this new wine, we rather have Wild Irish Rose, instead of having one women that we can believe in and trust in and love until the day that we die. We rather be the play boy and see how many that we can conquer, our influences are all wrong.
But I believe that men that want to have the kind of families that God intend when he joined us together, must have another approach of living.
If we are looking forward to having the best of the best, the right type of lifestyle, the best of living and to have great accomplishments then we are going to have to turn to higher examples.
I say this because I keep talking to father’s who are frustrated, aggravated, irritated, disturbed, annoyed, perturb, discourage and upset because they don’t have clarity about what it is we are too do.
We have already discovered that it is easy to become a father but it is hard to be one. It really only takes a few seconds to plant the seed but it takes a live time to nourish the seed that was planted. Yes, we appreciate the time that it takes us to perform the act, but nobody told us that we had to spend a live time after the fact.
Brethren’s, being a father requires, dedication, devotion, research, commitment, and a little time.
There are many demands and many requirement that are needed if you have any intent of being the kind of a father that is pleasing to the one who set the president for what father must be like. I believe that there is one direction that we should be able to follow when it comes down to fatherhood.
I’ve come this morning to look at this word and see how our father invites us to relate to him, how he invites us to engage him and he starts off by beginning with communication. As a father, you and I must stay in constant communication, and communication is normally 2 ways it’s not a one way thing. We speak and then we listen, and we get that example from God himself because God hears our most despairing cries,
He listen to us moan and complain, he listens to all of our nagging, nick-pick, our grumbling, and our criticizing, and God don’t mind because God never plan on being our father without us having excess to him, so our children must have excess to us.
So what Jesus was saying while he was talking to his disciples, he said here is that I want too do. He says I want to show you how to engage in conversation with the father. If God the heavenly father, if he wants to be engaged with conversation then surly we as natural fathers ought to be engaged in earthly conversation with our children.
So, Jesus says that even when you have conversation with me don’t be like the hypocrites are for they love praying in the public eye so that they can be seen. In other words, don’t be a father in the public eye, but also be a father at home.
Jesus says don’t pray like the hypocrites praying in the synagogues because they have their reward. And ladies let me throw this in since you all are so quite. Be careful about who you tell your man business to because one women junk man is another women knight and shinning amour.
So he says come and talk to me in private, let your request be known, and I promise you that once you leave my presence people will know that we have talked. Because He says what your father sees secret, he will reward you openly.
Fathers if we would just monitor the methods of the father, I promise you that we will become a master father. What I loved about the father is that before he created us he had already created a place for us. when we create our children, we should have a place for them, before you create you creature into creation you should have a place to place them, before God blew into their nostrils he had the garden already prepare.
In verse 8 he says that the father knows what things that you have need of before you even ask him. Fathers are to anticipate the need of their children, you know that they are going to need shoes; you know that they are going to need food, they are going to need somebody that will keep them on the straight and narrow pathway. We should anticipate being the priest of the family, the provider of the family and the protector of the family. And here’s a nugget for somebody that says well pastor I treat all of my children equally. Well you can’t treat all of your children equally because if you treat them all equally then you are leaving somebody out. Because all children are not equal, some are strong and some are weak, some are leaders and some are followers, some are independent and some just want to stay at home, some of them want jobs and they are others that want you to take care of them, and this is why you can’t treat them equal because some need nurture and other need to be encourage, some of them are on milk and others are on meat you can’t treat them equally or somebody will get left out. You’ve got to study them to know the differences, you’re father knows what you need before you ask. And I’m here to tell you that, children need more memory than they do money.
And here’s something for the pot and that is every good man is not a good father and every good father is not a good husband.
This is for the father’s; father are to be respected just as our heavenly father is to be so should our earthly father. They shouldn’t be tore down, they shouldn’t be down graded before their children, and ladies if you ever want a man to do something honor him and he will move mountains, men rather have respect than money, because if you respect him a man will go out and make some money.
He says our father which art in heaven (he is respected) hallowed be thy name. thine kingdom come. Every man needs his own domain, his own house, his own kingdom where he rules.
Jesus teaches us to say Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. Jesus teaches us what to ask for and God provides for us.
In other words, our heavenly father does what I earthly father cannot do, and our earthly father does what the heavenly chooses not to do. So just like we are able to ask the heavenly father for daily bread our earthly children ought to be able to ask us for daily bread.
Then he says forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. Father’s make sure that we have a forgiving heart.

Then he says lead us not into temptation, father ought to be leaders that will lead us away from devices that will destroy us. Daddy, please keep me from going into harm way, teach me, and lead me.
Lead me to not into temptation but deliver us from evil, deliver me from the games that are being played, deliver me from the snares of the one that is trying to turn me to a world of sin. I need to tell the father’s this morning that we can’t deliver if we are not there.
So, I thank God that he is a greatest example to us that we could ever have.
I thank him because he loves us in a way that we could never dreamed of.
I thank God for loving me in a way that I can understand
Yes we have a father that gave us his very best; he gave us his only begotten son that we would have life and that more abundantly.
So, I have a father that communicates with me no matter how bad that I have been. And every time that I needed him he’s always available.
In the midnight hour I can call him, it never too early in the morning, whenever I need him he’s right there. I know that I’ve been in some bad situation but my daddy always told me to call him and he will answer.
So, I encourage you to follow the example of the master father because he knows what we need and he will provide I thank him for being Jesus anybody know him?
Fellows I know sometimes the way seems dark but I’m here to tell you that he is a way maker
Yes I also know that there are times when your heart has been broken and your mind has been boggled, but he is Heart fixer mind regulator
I know that there are times being a father that the load seems so heavy but I got to tell you that he is a Heavy load sharer
And don’t you every weary and be afraid of how you are going to make it because he is a Provider
