I was asking the Holy Spirit what was in the heart of God that He wanted to share with the body of Christ, every time that I write I ask Him this question first, knowing fully well that He is our teacher and helper and knows exactly what He wants to share with His body.
When I heard in my spirit about this topic I was amazed because everything He desires to share about catches me by surprise, infact, i would say that every message that He writes through me always surprises me. It is actually true that no one can know the mind of God - 1 Corinthians 2:11 and I am always excited about His messages because it talks to me as well and not only to those who read the messages.
And thinking about the message as I write the mind of God. It is actually true that the eyes of the Most High is upon us at all times. God loves and cares for us so much that He desires to watch over His children and for that I am indeed grateful. That I have a father who watches me when I sleep and when I wake up., He knows my going out and coming in. He knows the time that i shed tears in secret. He knows when I am down or up. He knows all about me.
To me it is a privilege to have God watching over me. And because of this I do not need to worry or be afraid of what the enemy is planning to do or wants to do in my life. I have the God of the universe checking up on me. The word of God says to us in the book of Psalm 139: 1 - 24
Psalm 139: 1 - 24
O Lord, you have searched me [thoroughly] and have known me.
You know when I sit down and when I rise up [my entire life, everything I do];
You understand my thought from afar.
You scrutinize my path and my lying down,
And You are intimately acquainted with all my ways.
Even before there is a word on my tongue [still unspoken],
Behold, O Lord, You know it all.
You have enclosed me behind and before,
And [You have] placed Your hand upon me.
Such [infinite] knowledge is too wonderful for me;
It is too high [above me], I cannot reach it.
Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence?
If I ascend to heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in Sheol (the nether world, the place of the dead), behold, You are there.
If I take the wings of the dawn,
If I dwell in the remotest part of the sea,
Even there Your hand will lead me,
And Your right hand will take hold of me.
If I say, “Surely the darkness will cover me,
And the night will be the only light around me,”
Even the darkness is not dark to You and conceals nothing from You,
But the night shines as bright as the day;
Darkness and light are alike to You.
For You formed my innermost parts;
You knit me [together] in my mother’s womb.
I will give thanks and praise to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was being formed in secret,
And intricately and skillfully formed [as if embroidered with many colors] in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes have seen my unformed substance;
And in Your book were all written
The days that were appointed for me,
When as yet there was not one of them [even taking shape].
How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
The eyes of God is upon us.
I am also realising that as I write the mind of Christ His eyes are upon me and that is wonderful. Nothing can actually cover us from God's sight, the word records that wherever we are He is watching over us and keeping a record of what is happening in our lives.
God is Omnipresent and He is Omniscient at the same time, because He is God almighty. He is also present in our lives and lives in us - John 14:23 ;1 Corinthians 3:16 ;Ephesians 2:22. The power of God is great and since He is watching over us, we need to be mindful of what we say, what we do and where we go at all times. Whenever God looks at me I want Him to see me and to be pleased with me every time. I want Him to see me and be proud that He as a daughter who is doing things according to His will.
He said to us in His word that not one hair of our head will perish - Luke 21:18. This simply means that we are precious to Him, and nothing will ever touch us that will enable one strand of our hair to be lost, this is just the love of a Father to His children that He cares for so much. This actually gives me comfort and I can rest in the fact that i have a father who is protecting me when I am not aware of it.
There are so many dangers out there in this realm that we live in but our God is faithful and He will keep us to the end. He said so in Psalm 91, and in Psalm 23. We are to trust in His promises. He said His promises are yes and amen in Christ - 2 Corinthians 1:20.
Our God is living and sits on his throne. He is all powerful and like we said nothing is hidden from Him. His eyes are upon us and wants to bless us with all that He as. God said this in 2 Chronicles 16:9.
For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth so that He may support those whose heart is completely His.
Another translation puts it this way
The Lord is constantly watching everyone, and he gives strength to those who faithfully obey him. - CEV
When we think about this verse, we can easily say that it is quite fearful to know that the eyes of God is always watching us but if we are really obeying the word of God and living a life of righteousness then there is nothing to fear but to give thanks that we have a Father who cares for us to watch over us constantly. Like we said God is Almighty and to put our trust in Him alone.
This is simply why He said to us in His word that no weapon formed against us will prosper - Isaiah 54:17. This is true indeed, for if the eyes of God is upon us then no evil plans of the wicked ones will prevail in our lives and in our homes. What a wonderful God we have.
This is also the reason that He said to us in John 10:10 that because He is our Shepherd we can go in and out to find pasture, for He goes before us, and in this knowledge of truth we can rest in Him for provision when we are in need. In writing this I can say that I am so excited knowing I have God watching over me.
For this reason we do not fear, for what can man do to us when God's eyes are upon us - Psalm 118:6 ; Hebrews 13:6 ; 2 Timothy 1:7. God is good and we have Him watching over us.
The eyes of God is upon us.
Matthew 10: 29 - 31
Are not two little sparrows sold for a copper coin? And yet not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered [for the Father is sovereign and has complete knowledge]. So do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows.
What a promise from our Father, and it is indeed a promise that causes us to rest and lean on Him, knowing we have Him on our side is enough to live in peace with ourselves and be at peace with our enemies, for God is seeing us and will not allow the enemy to have is way in our lives. This reminds us of the book of Job, chapter 1 and at the end of it all God had His way and this is also true for us as well.
The eyes of God is upon us His children for good and not for evil. He said in his word to us that He does not slumber nor sleeps - Psalm 121:4, for He is watchman always, while we are sleeping the eyes of my Lord is upon me. Thank you Lord.
God is good and as our Father He is faithful to watch over us and to keep us safe in His hands.
Remain blessed.
