In the Tribulation the justice of God and the wrath of God is going to be poured out
there's two major reasons why God is going to bring judgment in the tribulation
#1 It’ time
In the tribulation, the wrath of God is being poured out
the bowls are being poured out
the trumpets are sounding
The Seal judgments are opening
Many people parish.
all this is happening, and God is causing it.
don't think it's the anti-Christ or the devil that's killing everybody and causing these things to come to pass
Although the Antichrist will kill a lot of people,
but understand that this is God allowing these things
and the number one main reason is, this is the time of judgment
so, the tribulation, the seven years of chaos is time for God to judge the earth
the Bible calls the tribulation
Zephaniah 1:15 (KJV) That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,
Revelation 14:7 (KJV) Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
the bottom line is that the sin of the world demands a response from God
The Bible teaches that we “reap what we sow”
so, you will reap the justice of God
God cannot be mocked
so, if you are sinful
if you're not under the blood of Jesus and you've not repented
you come under by default, the judgment of God
and God will have his way now
over and over in scripture you will see the people of God looking at the carnality
the sinfulness, abortion, murder and all horrible sins that this world brings
and you ask, Lord why is it that they can get away with this and you do nothing?
You see the wicked think they are getting away with sin, murder and everything
we say God how can you allow abortion
how can you allow murder?
how can you allow all this sin?
Don’t think that they're just getting away with it
you must understand, there's going to come a time of judgment in the tribulation
God will judge the earth
Proverbs 11:21 (KJV) Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.
God is just, and he can't let the world go and unpunished
God is slow to anger, but his power is great, and he never lets the guilty go unpunished
Jesus came to take on the wrath of God for us
you and I deserved the entire brunt of the wrath of God
Sin separates us from God,
but by the Blood of Jesus, we are brought into the Family of God!
Acts 17:31 (KJV) Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
The resurrection of Jesus is our assurance the Jesus has the Power and Authority to keep you from the wrath of God
eventually the people of the world are going to pay a price for their sin
and the tribulation is the time to do it
I know some people don't like this because they have a Foo-Foo rainbow banner Jesus
but the tribulation is the time that God has set aside to judge the world
Many of you think that the that's harsh of God and you don't understand
Proverbs 16:2 (KJV) All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.
Romans 3:10 (KJV) As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Romans 3:23 (KJV) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Ephesians 1:7 (KJV) In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
it's only by the blood of Jesus that you can be forgiven
Some have this theory that now that we're in the New Testament,
God is no longer judging people
That people no longer come under the judgment of God, that's wrong!
John 3:18 (KJV) He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
if you don't accept Jesus
if you don't remain in Jesus
you are already under the judgment of God
so the judgment of God is not gone away
but if we accept Jesus we don't come under judgment
when tribulation starts, those that haven't accepted Christ,
they by default, will come under the judgment of God
They will have to face the full brunt of the wrath of God
Romans 8:1 (KJV) There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
There is no judgment for those that remain in Christ
Because of this fact, I don't understand the Mid & Post Rapture Theory
Okay, if you all wanna be here during the tribulation then fine
pray that God will leave you here
but I'm going to take the first ticket out
I am not trying to live through the time of tribulation
I don't understand why church people wanna go through the tribulation I
They wanna be under the wrath of God
It’s as if they are saying that what Jesus did on the Cross wasn't enough
The Bible say’s, and I believe His Word that
1 Corinthians 15:52 (KJV) In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
the end times generation are going to remain under the judgment of God
they're going to reject Jesus
Revelation 16:9 (KJV) And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
they will even curse God, That’s crazy
after the tribulation
after every Seal
After every trumpet
After every bowl
they're still going to reject Jesus
2 Timothy 3:1-7 (KJV) This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
the end time generation, and I hate to say it, but it's the truth
they are going to deserve every bit of God's wrath
history also shows us that God's wrath is certain
it's not a maybe
in Noah's day God destroy the earth with the flood
God's reason for this is found in
Genesis 6:11-12 (KJV) The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
Genesis 6:5 (KJV) And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
if you think how God could kill all these people in the flood
except for Noah and his family
it’s because God was judging unrighteousness
God promised not to flood the earth again,
but God did not promise to judge the earth
because after the flood, in Genesis 19, God destroyed Sodom & Gamora also
in Jeremiah 32 God used nebuchadnezzar to bring judgment against Israel for worshipping false god’s and idols
in Daniel 5 God brought judgment on king belshazzar of Babylon
and he'll bring judgment on the end time generation
so don't think that God is not going to bring judgment
tribulation is a time of God's judgment
God is pouring out his wrath for seven years
And his primary purpose is not to destroy
his primary purpose is to save people who are lost
let me say that again
even though God for seven years is pouring out the worst wrath that the earth will ever see
He is doing this not to destroy but to save people
in the tribulation you will have one of two impacts
one of two things are going to happen
either people are going to harden their hearts
or people are going to turn to God for mercy
so if you react to the first the response, God's judgment becomes punishment
the second response is God's judgment becomes a blessing
think about this
the judgment of God in the tribulation actually becomes a blessing
because of the judgment, people are going to turn to God to escape the wrath to come
Isaiah 26:9 (KJV) With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
as God judges the earth, He brings people into salvation and righteousness
so you have to decide whether you're going to come under the judgment of God
or you're going turn to God
why is it that we have to go through all of this before we are willing to submit to God?
so, reason for the tribulation is
#1 for the judgment of God
and #2 is a time for the Lost to be saved
remember God wants everyone to be saved whether the “Jonah’s” like it or not.
John 6:39-40 (KJV) And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
2 Peter 3:9 (KJV) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
you have to understand that during the tribulation there will be the greatest revival of human history
Many, many souls are going to be saved
This is a terrible time
There will be torment and torture and death and chaos, yes
but it will be the greatest time of revival ever in human history
all the shocking events of the locust
of the 200,000,000 person army
of the blood filling the oceans and of every animal in the sea dying
of the rivers turning to blood
the great earthquake
the sun dying out
the stars (meteorites) falling from the sky
everything I described last week is exactly what the world's going to need to awaken from their slumber
God is going to use their tribulation to grab the attention of the world
how do I know this?
because everybody knows that when tragedy strikes people turn to God
look at the people of Nineveh
Jonah warned them and said God is going to destroy the city
God is going to judge Nineveh, and what happen?
the Bible says in Jonah 3:5 that the people turned from their evil ways
and instead of pouring out judgment, God released unprecedented revival
what caused the people to turn from their sin in Nineveh and turn to God?
it was the impending doom
it was the impending judgment
when times are good people forget God
and you know this when everything's going good you don't remember God
we don't need God
but the moment we experienced trial
the moment we experienced trouble we seek God out
when everything starts to crumble
when you're shaking every time something tragic happens
everyone wants to turn to God whether there's a car accident
whether it's a sickness
You say, Lord if you deliver me from this, I'll serve you
You say, Lord if you do this, I'll never do this again
I'll serve you
Jesus told the parable about the two men
he said one man built his house on solid rock the other men built his house on shifting sand
when the storm came the house on solid rock stood firm
but the house on shifting sand came crashing down
the tribulation is going to be a massive storm
everyone who lives through it that put their money and trust in people and idols and false gods are going to realize they lived their lives on sand
Revelation 7:9 (KJV) After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
it's going to be the greatest time of revival the earth has ever seen
I'm pre-Trib so I don't believe the church will be here
if you read the Book of Revelation, you're going to see the Church of Jesus Christ in Chapters 2 & 3
after the seven letters to the churches in the Book of Revelation you're not going to see the church throughout revelation any longer
you're going to see believers! You’re not going to see the Chruch!
the moment everyone disappears in the rapture
the moment we're taking up to meet with him in the air
how many people do you think are going to cry out to God?
how many millions of people are going to say Lord save me! deliver me!
because remember, these people grew up in church
they knew the stories of the rapture
I can imagine right after the rapture many are going to get saved
In the Tribulation, you do not see the Church
you don't see any churches or references to God's church
because they've already been taken
the Holy Spirit has been moved aside so that the anti-Christ can rise up in power
during the tribulation there's gonna be an explosion of signs and wonders and miracles
there's going to be the 144 thousand witnesses according to revelation 7:4
12,000 from each tribe
God is going to raise them up to preach the gospel through the tribulation
how are people going to get the gospel if the church is raptured?
there's going to be 144 thousand with a seal on their foreheads, God is going to mark them
they're going to be Jewish evangelists that are going to preach the gospel
They are not going to be by themselves
There will be also two witnesses with them also preaching, and…
Revelation 14:6 (KJV) And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
This Angel is flying through the sky
John says caring the everlasting good news to proclaim to the people
to the unsaved people “to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,”
angels are flying around broadcasting the gospel message
The two witnesses the Bible says, are going to have supernatural power to perform miraculous signs
they're going to have supernatural power
revelation 11:5 says no harm can come to them, nothing can kill
11:5 says fire will come from their mouths and destroy anyone who tries to hurt them
these two witnesses are going to have to preach the gospel with signs and wonders
the Bible says after the witnesses Complete their testimony the Antichrist is going to kill them
and this is going to happen in the middle of the tribulation
once the Antichrist kills the two witnesses the Bible says their bodies will lie unburied in the Main Street of Jerusalem, revelation 11:8
revelation 11:9 the entire world is going to look at their bodies dead
the world is going to celebrate
in revelation 11:10 they give each other gifts
think about this, the world hates God so much,
they hate the testimony of Jesus Christ so much
they hate Christians so much that when the witnesses die the people are going to celebrate and give each other gifts
because the witnesses have died, it will be a time of great jubilation
the people declare a holiday
what happens after three days of celebration
something unexpected happens
the Bible says that after three days the two men are going to rise to their feet
and it will be in the full view of the whole world, revelation 11:12
they're going to ascend into heaven
their departure is going to bring a great earthquake
Jerusalem will be destroyed according to revelation 11:13
instead of joy the people are going to be filled with terror
Come to Jesus Now while He may be found!
