I Was Made For This!
2 Kings 2:19-22 ,Matthew 5:13
“The people of the city said to Elisha, “Look, our lord, this town is well situated, as you can see, but the water is bad and the land is unproductive.” “Bring me a new bowl,” he said, “and put salt in it.” So they brought it to him. Then he went out to the spring and threw the salt into it, saying, “This is what the Lord says: ‘I have healed this water. Never again will it cause death or make the land unproductive.’ ” And the water has remained pure to this day, according to the word Elisha had spoken.”

Matthew 5:13 NIV
Salt has played a critical role in food preparation for thousands of years .. yet in the last few decades, salt has been made somewhat of a villain as its been associated with high blood pressure, hypertension and heart disease.
But I’ve discovered that salt has had some benefits connected to it.
Salt is used from birth to death to transport cells that function and operate in the body
85% of the water in your body carry’s better salt than that in the sea
Medically, it was antiseptic used to heal open wounds if you’ve been burned or whatever the case
To make it more practical:
Salt is used as seasoning to enlighten that which is bland
Used for preservation
Was used to make one thirsty... to realize something was missing out if their system.
So when you put that all together imagine what Jesus was saying in Matthew 5:13
YOU ARE THE SALT OF THE EARTH
Watch this.. he didn’t say “Like salt” “will become salt”
But in the state you are in right now, YOU ARE THE SALT
(IOW) in a Bland situation I got flavor! When you’re in a situation that’s trying to burn you up and make you feel like you lost all you got… you’ve got in you the power to persevere
Im talking to some people listening to me where people know all your history and can’t understand why you haven’t lost your mind yet after all the stuff you’ve been through
They don’t know its a preservative in you!
Because I’m salt, I realize I’m instinctively thirsty for something. So while others are satisfied with what they have, there is a hungry and thirst in me that there is more to me that what I’ve tapped into .
If I’m salt.then metaohorally speaking, anything impure or unlearn has to change when it comes in contact with me because of the contents in me.
Which means if you got a negative spirit and bad attitude and you take the risk of coming around me I’m an atmosphere shifter!
Listen, I’m Salt but I’m NOT SALTY! I’m not bitter by anything that has happened to me in my life because God allowed me to go through it and the reason why you couldn’t tell is because I’ve learned to get flavor out of a bad situation! So others who don’t operate on the same level of sodium as me always want to look at my life and say stuff like IF I WAS YOU… well newsflash, YOU AIN T ME!! You can’t tell me how to respond if you sent be through anything , YOU DONT KNOW WHAT IM MADE OF!
Cause I’m salt I was made to persevere over hell, trouble, and any situation I face…
Because God gifted me, I take a licking and keep on ticking so please don’t feel sorry for me or bad cause I remind myself everyday I get up..NO WEAPON!!
You shaking your own head and still trippin over what you’ve survived and overcame and the enemy is mad cause the situation of life made you better and now that you on the other side and have survived 100% of your worst days, you can to the field to declare IM STILL STANDING cause if GOD BE FOR ME….
In 2 Kings 2 something strange has taken place.. real quick.. Elisha has received the double portion anointing he has asked for from Elijah. And as soon as he steps into the double portion, he’s got a problem.. please hear me..
Whenever God gives you an anointing, please don’t think you won’t be faced and presented with problems.
But God allows problems just so he can who you your double portion!
If you were just operating on one level soon as you got hit you would have fell out dead, but because you have a stronger anointing on you, what whipped out weaker people, you’re able to swing through it and let the enemy know if that’s all you got I’ve been through worst !
So in vs. 19 the men express a problem.. the city is Good but the Water is bad…
In John gospel 7:36-38 water is symbolized to mean Spirit
City- beautiful, doing major things, construction all around, LOOKS GOOD BUT something is sick in the water
John said the water is spirit/ beautiful city that has a sick spirit.. the spirit of the city is so demented that there can be a murder every day Double numbers since last year and we go on like aint nothing wrong.
There has been 40 homicides to date, here in Toledo. 19 of the 40 deaths have been people under 25 years old. Spirit of the city is sick
Strong on titles, but weak on the work… the spirit of the city is sick
And Elisha says “ bring me a bowl, but not just any bowl but a new bowl!
So in order to shift the city, I gotta get a new idea, concept , principles, cause when God is getting ready to shift you can’t hold on to Old things and expect New Results!
And some of you know that’s how God is doing something different.. you being exposed to new circles, got a new job, feels like new vision and fresh anointing and ELISHA says “ after you bring me the bowl, pass the salt!
Pour salt in an empty container and I got to do that cause ( its in the text) the enemy is making the land barren… there is a lack of production.. so they busy but not accomplishing anything.
In case I just lost you , if you go to Mt 5:13 ( you are the salt)
God says I’m sending new ideas, prospectives in a bad environment and I’m throwing YOU into it!
So you’ve been up thinking its the devil that put you in it, when it was GOD cause its time to bring some flavor in a bland situation.
You do know when you put salt in something, it becomes dominant..

Cmwc you are so powerful that no matter what the environment is , they are gonna know your there, when you walk through the door they’re gonna be looking at you wondering how did you make it to the room and you can tell them FAVOR AINT FAIR!
He threw you in the situation to change the situation.. so wherever you are in, will never be the same cause YOU showed up. Whatever you are in is shifting…
Throw the salt in a bowl then in the river and the little salt is going to change the river…
You may feel like your insignificant, but God says I’m going to use you to change a whole culture
Do you know what we could do in Toledo if we used our salt and shift and change the culture
I have a confession… I didn’t come to have church, but to get some people to touch and agree that there must be an establishment of Kingdom, that whatever God has in the heavenly realm we can connect it to the earth realm… we’ve been so busy dancing over cars, clothes and cash that we missing on saving OUR CHILDREN!
The whole city can be healed if we stop trying to do church and start being the Salt he called us to be.
I desire that from this moment, when there is a murder it will be Major news because we won’t remember the last time there was one!
And if you are serious about shifting this city… declare shift this place!
Use your experience and your salt, you got more power with the Holy Ghost than the mayor and city council but we’ve been shaking it in the wrong direction!
Its time to Apply that anointing , not for tangible stuff, but use the authority that’s in you to SHIFT THE dimension!!
I DECLARE WAR !!!!!
ON EVERY DEMONIC SPIRIT IN THIS CITY THATS TRYING TO HINDER GOD FROM GETTING THE GLORY!!
SO IF YOU AREN'T READY FOR SPIRITUAL WARFARE YOU BETTER MOVE OUT OF THIS CITY!!
BUT IF YOU'RE READY TO ROLL UP YOUR SLEEVES AND FIGHT I DARE YOU TO CRY LOUD AND SPARE NOT

CAUSE ONE PERSON MADE UP IN THEIR MIND IT AINT ABOUT ME ITS ABOUT SAVING THE CITY…
