The times that we are living in right now is so strange and dark, that we do not understand what is happening anymore. A lot of confusion, lies , and misunderstanding is going on everywhere. people are dying from different situations more than ever before. It's like there seems to be no end to all that is going on.
But there is always a light at the end of the tunnel and that light is beckoning to us, to seek the True Light in Christ that is shinning in every circumstances and wants to always shine in our lives, and the Light wants to shine into every situation and as the light shines, every darkness must submit to the light of Christ in our lives.
The Bible rightly says that Satan is the god of this world - 2 Corinthians 4:4
The Bible says that Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy - John 10:10
The Bible also says that He disguises himself as an angel of light - 2 Corinthians 11:14
The Bible says he is the father of all lies - John 8:44
The Bible says that Satan is like a roaring lion - 1 Peter 5:8
The Bible says that Satan is the accuser of the brethren - Revelation 12: 9 - 11
Reading all this and more tells us without any shadow of doubt that Satan causes a lot of distress to the people of God and to the world. Remember that when God created the world everything was good - Genesis 1:31 and because of who God is everything is still good, it does not matter what is going on at the moment. Our God has never failed and will not fail us now even in this end times.
We have a loving God and He knows what is going on in our lives as the Light that shines in the midst of darkness. Everyone of us will always go through a dark path in our lives, but let us trust that in that time of darkness, we have Jesus in us as the light of the world.
John 8: 12 records this truth
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
This promise is powerful and glorious. Jesus simply says as we follow Him who is the light of the world we will not walk in darkness because we have the light of life. This is the truth we need to trust in and abide in as well. In this chaotic world that the darkness is hoovering at such a high speed, we have Jesus in us and his angels around us at all times - Psalm 34:7.
Jesus lives in us
Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ [that is, in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body I live by faith [by adhering to, relying on, and completely trusting] in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
John 14:20
On that day [when that time comes] you will know for yourselves that I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I am in you.
Ephesians 3: 17 - 19
So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through your faith. And may you, having been [deeply] rooted and [securely] grounded in love, be fully capable of comprehending with all the saints (God’s people) the width and length and height and depth of His love [fully experiencing that amazing, endless love]; and [that you may come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you may be filled up [throughout your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you may have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself].
Therefore, knowing that we have Christ himself living - (Dwelling ) in us as the light of the world, we can be assured that there is no room for darkness to live in us as well. The word of God rightly says to us that light and darkness cannot comprehend each other - 2 Corinthians 6:14 ; John 1:5 ;Luke 1:79 and Psalm 18:28.
Jesus is the Light of the world.
We have the true light in us and where there is light, darkness cannot defeat us as the children of light. The light of Christ it's not of this world. When Jesus appeared to me and we were walking together, we were in light and there was this love and peace around us. As we were together all I could see was this light that overshadowed everything in me and when I suddenly saw Satan in this deep darkness. I could see the difference between light and darkness.
The truth is that Jesus is the Light of the world and we have to lean on this fact always. The light will always shine in our lives as we continue in Him.
The Bible says in Him we live and move and have our being - Acts 17:28. To be in his light we are to accept that Jesus is our Lord and Savour - John 3:16
He loves us so much that He came to save us from the darkness that I saw Satan dwelling in, the darkness was so deep I could not see his face but I knew it was Satan, I remember asking Jesus if that was Satan and Jesus replied that it was Satan I was looking at and Jesus showed me what to do and say.
Jesus is the Light of the world.
We have Jesus in our lives and He is the light that shines in and through us , through faith in Him the darkness around us will have to flee , it might be sin, sickness, pain, diseases or poverty. Anything to do with darkness that is not allowing us to enter into a place of rest is not from God and will have to leave us alone as children of light.
Jesus wants his light to shine in us at all times because of where we are, He wants us to be examples of his light so that the people in darkness can see us as lights and come to know Him as the light of the world. The word says that we should let our light so shine and not to be hidden - Matthew 5:16 Ephesians 5:8 ; 1 Peter 2:9 ; Psalm 27:1.
Micah 7:8
Do not rejoice over me [amid my tragedies], O my enemy!
Though I fall, I will rise;
Though I sit in the darkness [of distress], the Lord is a light for me.
This is saying to us that in the middle of troubles, that comes from the enemy and in the darkness, the Lord is our light and this really encourages me a lot, that the Lord is around me as the Light, and I am using this to encourage myself that his light is around me and to focus on Him as the Light of the world.
I believe that as we focus on the Lord as our light, that situation will suddenly change but the one thing to do is to put our focus on Him and His word, by meditating on His promises, I see my healing manifests quickly and there is a joy in me and a hope that all will be well to his glory.
Remain blessed in Him who is the Light of the world and that dark place we are in will eventually submit to his light in us. Blessing
