TEXT: Acts 12:5-7
"Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.
And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison.
And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands".
THE PLAN OF THE ENEMY
The plan of Herod, the enemy of the church, was to kill Apostle Peter after killing James. He was doing the bidding of Satan and seeking to fulfil his mission to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10a). However, the night Peter was to be slaughtered to please the people, God took over the case. Peter was released from prison by supernatural means to the astonishment of even the praying church. The Lord will take over your case and deliver you from your strong enemies in Jesus name.
"The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them. Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters" (Exo 15:9-10). Pharaoh pursued the Israelites relentlessness and when it seemed there was no hope of escape, God took over. He overturned Pharaoh and his soldiers in the red sea and delivered the Israelites.
"Let them be horrified by their shame, for they said, “Aha! We’ve got him now!” (Ps 70:3). When the enemies say aha we have got him, the Lord will arise for you and discomfit your enemies in Jesus name.
WHEN GOD TAKES OVER
When the host of darkness descends, the light of God will shine and the powers of darkness will be confounded. In the prison, the light of God shone and God's presence filled the prison .The result was that the chains of bondage fell off and the prison gates were opened. The light of God will shine upon your situation and every chain will be broken in Jesus name. God harkened to the prayers of the church, he will harken to your prayers beyond your wildest dreams in Jesus name..
God will take over and set you free.

Father, arise and take over the battles of my life in Jesus name.
