Today there are over 1.8 billion people on earth, different languages, different colors, different cultures but all of them are made in Gods Image. And God made each human being for the express purpose of revealing his nature in the earth. He is very clear about how he created them.
One of the saddest things that have happened to the church is what we are communicating. You are a good communicator but your information is wrong then you have been successful in contamination. Because nothing is bad as an effective communicator who communicates error.
Our only massage should be about the kingdom, the understanding and receiving of that kingdom is what will bring the other things we dedicate so much time teaching. For instance, financial breakthrough, healing, miracles should never be a teaching, because it is a natural occurrence in the kingdom. The apostles didn’t teach it, Jesus didn’t teach it. So why are we teaching them, which theology is that?
Once you get into the river, wetness will not be something to learn rather it will be natural. So lets get into the kingdom first.
The most important statement I ever saw in the bible was found in Matthew Chapter 10. There some words were spoken by Jesus to his disciples telling them to go and share some information with people.
The KINGDOM of heaven is at hand – the very same message he and john the Baptist preached.
My point is this, we have been so well educated in contaminated truth that even when truth shows up, we call it error.
The message is the KINGDOM OF GOD HERE AND NOW
Isaiah 9 vs 6. The messiah is coming with something on his shoulders. It very common in that time to carry loads on your shoulder for your master for both man and animal. They still do it in the far each today. In the time of Isaiah, a yoke is common for both male and female servants, they will calve a yoke the size of your neck and you use it to carry things for your master. This is the very concept Isaiah was talking about when he saw the messiah coming. He said and unto us a child is born and unto us a son is given, now the next statement implies two things;
1. He will be a servant, only servants carry yokes….and his shoulder shall be GOVERNMENT. So, he is coming with something on his shoulder and it is a government. Again, servants never carry loads for themselves. They carry load for someone else in most cases their master. The image I want to create in your mind now is that Jesus the messiah is coming to earth as a SERVANT with someone’s property on his shoulders and he is coming to bring it back to those to whom it belongs. He didn’t bring a religion, he didn’t bring traditions, he brought a government. And if you notice it didn’t say government(s) if you read that passage carefully. Its referring to one government, a specific kingdom. Which means that God really wants just one government on earth from the beginning and in the end, He’s gonna get it. which is why the first public statement Jesus made goes like this…the kingdom of heaven has arrived. Why is this very important?
Because as far as it is a religion you will never get the message. I am trying very hard to be delivered from religion. Once you get the religion you will miss the kingdom. That is why we practice Judaism instead just being kingdom people. I am trying to get rid of religion in my life, religion is holding me back.
Religion is man’s search for God. Its man’s attempt to reach God. that’s why religion is filled with activities, rituals because we are trying to appease God, trying to reach up to God. But this message is different. First this message is God reaching out for us, he sent his only begotten son, he was the one that reached out to us.
Secondly, he didn’t bring rituals
he brought authority,
he brought power,
He brought KINGDOM POWER
and he brought the ability for you to control your environment again.
2. Government – this is a kingdom. This is so important that it is the only things Jesus taught. He tried to convince us about the kingdom so strongly that kept on using this thing called parables. In each parable he used he tried to make it simple for people to understand. To farmers he says, the kingdom of heaven is like a seed. To fisherman he says, the kingdom of God is like a man who casts a net. To the business man he says the kingdom of God is like a man who invests in a far country. To the house wife he says, the kingdom of God is like a who woman who was looking for a pearl, He kept on and on…. meaning that everybody has to get this message.
If you get the truth of this kingdom, it will set you free.
AMBASSADORS.
What does it mean?
Noun: a diplomatic official of the highest rank, sent by one sovereign or state to another as its representative (Oxford English Dictionary).
So, and an ambassador is three things.
1. Of highest rank
2. Sent
3. A representative
REPRESENTATION.
As an ambassador there is a reason why you reside where you do: it is to see interest of your sending country expressed and extended where ever you have been deployed. In other words, you want to see the place you are look more like the place you are from.
…”thy kingdom come, and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven”
All government establishes a system for foreign relations to represent their interest.
And remember the kingdom of God is a government
The work of representatives is to influence an area in the governments interest. With this, what we should be doing in Church is a diplomatic meeting to discuss the constitution of our government to understand the mind our king so that we can go out and represent our kingdom properly. That’s what we meet every weekend for…. this should be a meeting of diplomats to discuss our government business. We need to get that into our heads.
Ambassadors are appointed.
Ambassadors are not voted in, they are appointed, they are chosen. Jesus says because I am KING, I have the right to choose my ambassadors. And guess who he decided to choose? YOU. If it were to be a voted position, most of us can’t make it. But you are chosen. Glory to God! You are the choice of the KING
The first thing after you are appointed as an ambassador of a government is,
1. You go into an intensive training (story of Moses in Exodus 1,2,3)
The first thing you are going to learn is his world, Paul said “do not be ignorant of the devices of the satan. Which means study your enemy, find out the territory that belongs to you, find out the power that belongs to you, find out the victory that belongs to you already.
So, if you an ambassador, you must understand your whole territory. That is why kingdom ambassadors are what I call “humans without borders”.
2. Recruit citizens into the kingdom of God (this recruitment in reality means to “bring to consciousness”) Dr. Myles Munroe’s analogy captures it well. Let’s say we are fighting a war, and while we are fighting in war and the generals came together, submitted to one general and agreed that the war was over. But many people are still in the jungle fighting and killing each other because the message have not gotten to us yet, so they sent out people in all the places in the jungle, where we are still fighting to give us the good news that the war is over. That’s what it is like.
Our job then is to go to all the jungles of this world to tell the people the people the war is over, He won, do not be afraid anymore. Stop fighting, the battle is finished, you can have peace.
Because through you, his intend in known to the world. Eph. 3:10 tells a little bit of our work, it says it was his intent that through the church the manifold wisdom of God would be made known to the rulers and the authorities of the heavenly realms according to his eternal purpose.
This means that through his ambassadors, he will make known his manifold wisdom.
What is Church? A group of people appointed to represent the king. In that passage it means that …through God’s ambassadors, he will show his Multiple wisdoms. This ambassador doesn’t represent the people (they are not voted in), they represent who chose you.
Once you are appointed an ambassador, you don’t give your personal opinion any more you are under what is called a “collective responsibility”. Overtime time your opinion and government opinion become one.
If you understand what I mean here, then tomorrow in your office, you will manifest the wisdom of God in any situation you find yourself because it has been shown to you.
If there is an issue in Nigeria, When the American ambassador wants to speak, he/she doesn’t speak his opinion, what ever he will say must be the position of his government in that issue.
After this meeting today, you need to go back to your local territory and be an ambassador in your home, office, community, school, any where you find your self and you need to influence that area with your governments interest.
In any government of this world, if as an ambassador, you become very emotional with an issue and gave a “piece of your mind” you will be fired instantly in worst cases killed as in Asian countries.
So, if someone askes you about #ENDSARS, you don’t give your personal opinion, you are going to give the opinion of the king, that’s how the king rules.
As an ambassador, You don’t adjust yourself to the environment, if you do, you will become very sentimental and emotional. Unfortunately, rather your only concern should be the do the will of your kingdom.
Our minds need to be renewed.
The question now is, are you in touch with your kingdom?
