GOD HATES WICKED PEOPLE

“The LORD tests the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence” (Psalm 11:5)

The following verses were extracted from the HOLY SCRIPTURES (NKJV):

GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually (Genesis 6:5). There is no fear of God before the eyes of the wicked. He flatters himself in his own eyes, when he finds out his iniquity and when he hates. The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit; he has ceased to be wise and to do good. He devises wickedness on his bed; sets himself in a way that is not good; he does not abhor evil (Psalms 36:1-4). Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds; when the morning is light, they practice it, because it is in the power of their hand (Micah 2:1). Let none of you think evil in your heart against your neighbor; and do not love a false oath. For all these are things that I hate, ‘says the LORD” (Zechariah 8:17).

Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood (Proverbs 1:16); their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths. They have not known the way of peace, and there is no justice in their ways; they have made themselves crooked paths; whoever takes that way shall not know peace (Isaiah 59: 7-8). Destruction and misery are in their ways, there is no fear of God before their eyes (Romans 3:16-18). You have done worse than your fathers, each one follows the dictates of his own evil heart, so that no one listens to me .Therefore I will cast you out of this land into a land that you do not know, neither you nor your fathers shall serve other gods day and night, where I will not show you favor (Jeremiah 16:12) ; although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened (Romans 1:21). The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts (Psalm 10:4).

I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us but If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:10). The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:4-5). Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus (Philippians 2:5), that He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again (2 Corinthians 5:15).

God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:4-5), Therefore He says: “awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light. See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. Do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord (Ephesians 5:14-19).

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:1-2). For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be (Romans 8:6-7). If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live (Romans 8:12-13).For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God because you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” (Romans 8:15). Likewise, the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses, for we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groaning which cannot be uttered (Romans 8:26).

Likewise, you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Therefore, do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts; and do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. Sin shall not have dominion over you, because you are not under law but under grace. What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? (Romans 6:11-16). Having been set free from sin, you became servants of righteousness (Romans 6:18). I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh, just as you presented your members as servants of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as servants of righteousness for holiness (Romans 6:19). What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death (Romans 6:21).

Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh.” He who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body (1 Corinthians 6:15-18). If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth (Colossians 3:1-2). Therefore, put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry (Colossians 3:5). But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth (Colossians 3:8). Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds (Colossians 3:9), and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him (Colossians 3:10). Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service (Romans 12:1). You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you (Isaiah 26:3). Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon (Isaiah 55:6-7).
