Zec 3
1 And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.
2 And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?
3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.
4 And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.
5 And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD stood by.
6 And the angel of the LORD protested unto Joshua, saying,
7 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.
The angel of the Lord was standing before Joshua because God was getting him ready to be changed and used. Much transformation needed to be done, but right from the start satan was already on hand to resist Joshua. but in the process he was also resisting the change and God who was going to male the transformation happen.
Brothers and sisters, if you feel pressure and resistance from the enemy look to the Lord and see what He may be doing to change you. You may be in the process of being prepared for a new ministry or to have the one you are enhanced as God transforms you to be fit for that ministry.
Do not be discouraged or swayed. Hang in there and let Him hang on to you. When the transformation is done you will see the fruit. The devil would not be resisting you if he did not see you as a threat or noticed things happening in the spiritual realm that would put you in a place where God will use you to do great damage to the realm of darkness.
There may be some dirty garments that have to be removed and new garments given. Confess what you know and He will forgive that and what you may not know. (1 John 1:9) Indeed, as a prince/princess in the kingdom you will be given a new headdress to denote your position. We speak of wearing many hats in our jobs, but God will give you the hat you are to wear for what He has called you to do. Embrace it. You may be surprised at what He will do and what He wants you to do, but it will be a blessed surprise! Maranatha!!!
