TOPIC: AND GOD REMEMBERED ME - DIVINE SETTLEMENT
TEXT: GENESIS 30:22
Then God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb
When God remembers a man, He settles him.He changes his status of labour to favour. He prospers him and makes his enemies to be at peace with him. For there to be divine settlement, there must be divine intervention. There is always a time and season for the reign of a man - it is just a matter of time. Declare that "My time is now, in Jesus' name".
CANDIDATES FOR DIVINE SETTLEMENT
1. Those who are in the prisons of life
The first category of people that God will remember are those who might be experiencing many forms of captivity. In the plan of God, after prison experience comes the palace and glory. Genesis 41:14 "So Pharaoh sent for Joseph, and he was quickly brought from the dungeon. When he had shaved and changed his clothes, he came before Pharaoh". May God cause you to stand before kings and receive divine help in Jesus' name. AMEN. In the schedule for divine settlement, location does not stop God from doing the best for us. Rather what counts most are God's time and His presence. As pharaoh sent for Joseph, I prophesy into your life that your destiny helpers shall send for you.
2. Those that nature cannot support their miracles anymore
Are you in a situation that even nature and things around you are not working for your good? Rejoice because your season of divine remembrance has come. With God all things are possible, not some things are possible. Nature may pause you or suggest that you are written off but God has come to settle you. He is moving you forward and upward. We do not serve a static God but a dynamic God. In case they have said that you are in your menopause and you cannot conceive or get married. Men may pause you as the name implies(literally), "menopause". Trust God for that miracle and it shall be so. Imagine Sarah coming out for prayers to conceive a child, everyone would mock her and maybe the Pastor would struggle with his faith to release the anointing. But Sarah relied on God. When nature gives you a disadvantage, hold unto God, He will surely give you an advantage. Genesis 21:6-7 " Sarah said, “God has brought me laughter, and everyone who hears about this will laugh with me.” And she added, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? Yet I have borne him a son in his old age.”
3. Those whose toiling produce no fruits or evidence
Christians work by favour and mercy from God. God is in the business of ordering our paths. When He orders us, there are no pitfalls but elevations and honour. Much toiling may get you there but without grace you may not enjoy the achievement. I prophesy to you, In case you have given up, God is picking you up. Luke 5:4-7 " When He has stopped speaking, He said to simon, Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch".But Simon answered and said to Him, Master we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at your word I will let down the net. And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink."
NOTABLE THINGS THAT HAPPEN WHEN GOD COMES TO SETTLE A MAN
+ Questions are asked to favor his case
2 Samuel 9:1-4
1 David asked, “Is there anyone still left of the house of Saul to whom I can show kindness for Jonathan’s sake?” 2 Now there was a servant of Saul’s household named Ziba. They summoned him to appear before David, and the king said to him, “Are you Ziba?” “At your service,” he replied. 3 The king asked, “Is there no one still alive from the house of Saul to whom I can show God’s kindness?” Ziba answered the king, “There is still a son of Jonathan; he is lame in both feet.” 4 “Where is he?” the king asked. Ziba answered, “He is at the house of Makir son of Ammiel in Lo Debar.”
Most times when God decides to favour a man, a question is often asked. It could be a question from our enemies to mock or a friend to honour us. God put a question in the mouth of King David because the set time to favor Mephibosheth; the son of Jonathan has come. He was handicapped but God prepared a table of royalty for him to enjoy all through his life. No matter the battles in your life, God will preserve you till your day of glory and honour. The future is bright for you, do not give up now. There shall be joy tomorrow.
+ Protocols are broken
Genesis 48:17-19 "When Joseph saw his father placing his right hand on Ephraim’s head he was displeased; so he took hold of his father’s hand to move it from Ephraim’s head to Manasseh’s head. 18 Joseph said to him, “No, my father, this one is the firstborn; put your right hand on his head.”19 But his father refused and said, “I know, my son, I know. He too will become a people, and he too will become great. Nevertheless, his younger brother will be greater than he, and his descendants will become a group of nations.”
In the plan and will of God, nobody questions His decisions. Joseph was not happy that his father blessed the younger son more than the first son but the father told him that it was according to God's plan and purpose for the sons. Protocols can be broken just to favor a man because the hand of God is on him at that particular time. Every thing works to fulfill God ultimate will. One may feel unhappy about it but God who sees the end from the beginning is Lord and God over all. He qualifies the disqualified and promotes the disqualified to an enviable position. Why should a stranger from the prison rule Egypt when he was neither part of the royal blood nor in the political cycle? This is because God is involved.
+ He will meet real people - destiny helpers :
1 Samuel 10:2-5 When you leave me today, you will meet two men near Rachel’s tomb, at Zelzah on the border of Benjamin. They will say to you, ‘The donkeys you set out to look for have been found. And now your father has stopped thinking about them and is worried about you. He is asking, “What shall I do about my son?”’ 3 “Then you will go on from there until you reach the great tree of Tabor. Three men going up to worship God at Bethel will meet you there. One will be carrying three young goats, another three loaves of bread, and another a skin of wine. 4 They will greet you and offer you two loaves of bread, which you will accept from them. 5 “After that you will go to Gibeah of God, where there is a Philistine outpost. As you approach the town, you will meet a procession of prophets coming down from the high place with lyres, timbrels, pipes and harps being played before them, and they will be prophesying.
In the pursuit of destiny, everyone could be useful but in the fulfilment of your destiny everyone is not needful. King Saul was a man without anybody to assist him to the throne, in fact there was no royal throne before his time so royalty was never in his plan but suddenly God placed destiny helpers on his journey to destiny. He was anointed and elevated as the first King of Israel. God has a perfect favor plan for you, he knows how to order circumstances to bless us.Let us not be disturbed. He understands our destiny more than us and God will surely cause us to be fulfilled, God is the master planner, He knows how to keep connecting us till we achieved the success. Just trust God for everything.
