Reflection
We read in the Acts (Acts 22:30; 23:6-11) that Paul came down and spoke as a Pharisee realising that there were two groups.
They were:
1. Pharisees, &
2. Sadducees.
Pharisee believed in resurrection, spirits and angels.
Sadducee did not believe all three.
The debate broke out between them.
There was a difference.
There was a chaotic situation.
At the same time, Jesus prayed that all may be one in the gospel (John 17:20-26).
How do we become one with all your differences?
We are created in image and likeness of God.
This creation was out of love.
We have lot of differences.
But love is our primary language.
In our community and mission, we come across different ideas, opinions, perspectives, and personalities.
Our vision and mission is to love one another.
Jesus knew about it and he prays that all may be one in love.
Love unites all.
Love appreciates the differences.
Love celebrates everything.
We too know it with our experiences.
The question is:
Are we ready to venture into mission of love rather than our differences with others?
