The voice of a prophet, what do you see post COVID -19???
Friday night, (June 12, 2020) I was in my room doing an all-night prayer and my daughter was also praying in another room. After reading the Bible, I started intense prayer from midnight 12 am, I was weeping at His feet, I needed many answers and confirmations, around 1.30 am midnight, the Holy Spirit spoke to me crystal clear ‘Daniel 6’, immediately I opened the Bible and started meditating on the chapter, this message comes ‘ hot’ from the prayer room, now read on…..God is going to answer you deeply today. This is not for everyone, this is for people who are going through a dark period of discouragement, failure and uncertainty, bravo friend, God has got your back!
Daniel 6:16” Then the king gave orders, and Daniel was brought in and cast into the lions' den.”
Hey friend, if you are trapped in a lion's den right now here comes a word for you! Some people feel Daniel was really brave and courageous that’s why he was cool in the lion’s den, walking in the midst of lions. Even the lion tamer is brave and he trains the lion to submit, hunters bravely venture into the forest that hide multiple dangers, surrounded by wild animals, blood-thirsty predators waiting in ambush to gore them. The man who jumps from a tall building also claims to be brave, Daniel’s bravery was not based on muscle power but his strength was His God. Say Amen. I am going to talk about what God wants to do after COVID 19 also, so prepare your heart to listen. Remember, God speaks to His children who pay the price to sit and listen to Him, midnight while others were sleeping, here I am waiting on Him with tears running down my cheek.
Daniel knew His strength comes from His communication with God, he would not have been able to survive in the Babylon palace with pagan worship and gentile practices if he had not been committed in his prayer life. Yes, HIS PRAYER WAS HIS WEAPON! Say Hallelujah! Read: Daniel 6: 10”Daniel knew that the document was signed, he entered his house (now in his roof chamber he had windows open toward Jerusalem); and he continued kneeling on his knees three times a day, praying and giving thanks before his God, as he had been doing previously.” This is awesome! In the midst of his busy schedule, he separated time to be with God three times a day, not worried about the prying, snoopy eyes of his enemies.
Have your mind stayed in Him: The Lord reminded me of Isaiah 26:3 which says: “You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.”(NKJV)Stayed on God, not wandering or looking at the circumstances, are you listening?
Don’t think of your present state of being jobless, penniless or hopeless but here I am to tell you that your rewards are coming from God. Wait patiently, don’t give up! Get hooked up with prayer warriors , prayer group cells, online church services and keep your fire on, keep it flickering. It may look really dark and scary now but let me assure you that God has not forgotten you. The church may look empty, your purse may be empty, your unanswered prayers may stare daggers at you; yet, I encourage you to walk brave like Daniel. Are you listening? I heard a prophetess tell her testimony when she lost all her 7 houses and she was literally on the streets, she would write scriptures on the walls of her home and read them out loudly, such was her faith in the promises of God. Never , never allow the devil to take your faith away! No matter how sad, tired, depleted or bushed out you are, don’t you ever miss reading your Bible, that’s your tonic!
As we see dead bodies and hear news about the rapid increase of Corona virus and the position of our country keeps escalating, you need to have your mind STAYED, PARKED on His Word, Jeremiah 17:“7But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is Him. 8He is like a tree planted by the waters that sends out its roots toward the stream. It does not fear when the heat comes, and its leaves are always green. It does not worry in a year of drought, nor does it cease to produce fruit.…”
Keep your mind on God’s promises, His goodness, His mercy, His compassion and His steadfast love, say Amen. God would restore peace, health and prosperity in this world, read His promise, “'Behold, I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal them; and I will reveal to them an abundance of peace and truth.” Jeremiah 33:6
In order to keep our mind from losing sanity in the midst of such chaos, we got to trust Him. When we buy our train tickets and board the train with all our luggage and family, we immediately settle into our seats and the next thing people do is open their mobile or laptop and watch movies for several hours. They don’t do any check on the ability of the train driver, despite the enormous tracks that run zigzag, people just place their hope on the railway department and the driver to take them safely to their destination. Don’t we? Likewise friend, we got to trust our Almighty God to take us through this pandemic situation and bring us safely to our destination, even though we don’t see peace around us. Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
But get this straight, we don’t get this protection, deliverance and safety if we don’t spend time with God like Daniel.
THE BEST IS COMING:
Chapter 6 ends like this:
27 "He delivers and rescues and performs signs and wonders In heaven and on earth, Who has also delivered Daniel from the power of the lions."
28 So this Daniel enjoyed success in the reign of Darius and in the reign of Cyrus the Persian.:
Those of us who are travailing for God and waiting upon Him in this uncertain times, be assured that His name is going to be glorified after this COVID 19 passes away. Yes, it would! We are very near to deliverance, fear not saints!
Daniel 9 says: Daniel 9:4"O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments.’
I’m struggling! Should I give you three points on the above scripture? I was thinking! Three gorgeous character of God mentioned in the above scripture:
• Great and Awesome God!
• Covenant keeping God!
• God with Steadfast love!
I have talked a lot of His greatness and how He keeps His covenant with His children, the third point arrests me! His steadfast love! In this fast, quick and uncertain world, where we get our hearts broken a million times because of the callous attitude of people, without this ‘colossal love’ of God I would have gone bonkers, I would not be here writing this message to you! I would have quit writing for God, quit ministry and may be doing something else………..such have been the struggles, persecutions, uncertainty and pain. His steadfast love has kept me strong and fighting the battles head-on!
The above scripture are the words of Daniel, his revelation about God was spot on! He knew his God too well and that’s exactly why he was not scared of the lions. Lions cannot stand before the LION OF JUDAH! Hurray! I would always wonder how Daniel would have walked to the lion’s den! ‘Like a lion!’ Amen. When David Livingston, missionary who worked in Africa had come to Scotland to the University of Edinburgh, the usually noisy and raucous students, gave a silent, standing ovation to David Livingston when it was his turn to come up on stage. There Livingstone stood, one arm hanging at his side - his shoulder had been torn by a lion in the forests of Africa. There he stood, his skin like leather - because the sun had completely destroyed it. I write this portion choked with tears! Our lives have been mediocre, lacking substance for too long, when would we stretch out for God? David Livingston said: ‘people say I have sacrificed my life working in Africa but what is it compared to the sacrifice my Master Jesus did for me on the cross!’ David Livingston had a clear picture of the nature of His God! Such revelations instigate and stir us to do more for Him and help us during time of crisis! Do you hear me? His Steadfast love! How lovely!
It was my birthday and I was in a different town! It was also the most difficult period in my ministry and I was emotionally very down too, a cousin of mine, came to the place where I was staying and she took me to a church close by. I walked in without any expectation but my heart was like a full dam – any moment it would burst; none knew it though. The worship leader came forward and sang, I tell you, the words spoke to me. Why should a powerful God just bother about an emotionally weak woman like me? He did care! I wept and sobbed during the worship not because I was feeling emotionally drained but because God came down to comfort me. He remembered my birthday! What more do I need than His comfort! I speak to people who are going through pain and angst – cheer up! He is the Lion of Judah!
God bless you!
