Summary: You can allow God to beautify you freely of His grace and it last forever or you can spend a huge amount of time and money on beauty that is fake and fades.

1 Peter 3:1-6

Proposition: You must beautify yourself God’s way!

Fashion passes away – I Corinthians 7:31

Psalm 90:17 – “Let the beauty of the Lord be upon us.” Beauty - also pleasantness and grace

B. You have the favor of God! 4

Psalm 45:13 “The King’s daughter is all glorious within.” Glorious – stately, courage and abundance

I Timothy 5:2 “treat as mothers and sisters in purity” easier if the ladies are walking in chaste purity

Ecclesiastes 3:11 “He has made everything beautiful in His time.” Beautiful – fair, excellent

He made you ladies so you are beautiful. Add-ons declare that He did not make you beautiful.

III. By trusting God! 5,6

A. To direct your husband! 5

Daniel followed God and exalted him before pagan rulers.

B. To remove all your fears! 6

If you are divorced, separated, widowed or single these principles work for you as God is your husband if you are saved and part of the Bride of Christ. Isaiah 54:1-5
