FOUNDATION KEYS TO JUBILEE PART 2
TEXT: DEUTERONOMY 28:1-2, LEVITICUS 25:12
INTRODUCTION
We shall continue to discuss the foundational keys to Jubilee as was spoken to us by God through His servant, these remaining keys are service and obedience;
CHRISTIAN SERVICE
We are called to please God through giving God a reasonable service - 2 Timothy 2:4. Although there is a call to special service and ministry but God has called every born again Christian to serve in different offices and anointing. Every service has a reward and God is not unjust - Hebrews 6:10, 2 Chronicles 15:7. Working for God without walking with Him will not give us the Father's honour - John 12:26. Servants are the greatest - Matthew 23:11
How best to serve:
1. Service starts from the heart - 1 Chronicles 28:9
2. Do not wait to be served, be like Jesus Christ - Mark 10:45
3. Be zealous in service - Romans 12:11
4. Render selfless service -
5. Begin your service in the household of faith - 1 Peter 4:10
OBEDIENCE
Obedience to God begins with keeping His commandment which brings blessings - Psalm 19:11. Keeping God's commandment calls for seeking them all, obeying them all - Acts 9:6, James 1:22 and delighting in doing them - Psalm 112:1. Obedience is double sacrifice - 1 Samuel 15:22-23. There is no frustration or test of life that should cause us grow deaf ears to the voice of God - Luke 5:5. There is always a spiritual contention to cause God's people to disobey but we must yield to the leading of the Holy Spirit to overcome - Galatians 5:17, knowing that obedience is for our good. Deuteronomy 11:26-28

1. Obedience is the key to long life - Proverbs 4:10
2. Obedience is the key to prosperity - Deuteronomy 5:33
3. Obedience by the parents can bless their children - Genesis 22:18
4. It gives eternal life - 1 John 2:17
5. God makes His home with the obedient - John 14:23
Disobedience leads to sin and death - Romans 5:19. Does God understand when we disobey authorities even in the church? -Romans 13:1,4-5.
CONCLUSION - Deuteronomy 28:13, The Lord will make you the head and the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom.
