Philippians 4:19: "But my God shall supply all your need, according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
The Promise.......But my God shall supply all your need
God hasn’t promised to meet our greeds…but our needs!
Just remember, Sometimes God will give you exactly what you wanted, just to show you it's not all what you needed!
Shall-The certainty
There is no doubting, no hesitation, no apprehension.
Matthew 7:7-"Ask and it shall be given unto you,"
Matthew 21:22- "And in all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive," .
How can we be so certain?
The promise is secured by the provider.
God knows what we need, because we are inherently selfish, even our prayer requests often reflect more greed than need!
All-Not some. Not most. Not much. But all!
That is a bountiful provision.
All-God doesn't do anything half way….whether in proving needs or pouring out judgment!
The Flood Comes And The Only Ones Safe Are The Ones Within The Ark!
Genesis 7:23-So He destroyed all living things which were on the face of the ground: both man and cattle, creeping thing and bird of the air. They were destroyed from the earth. Only Noah and those who were with him in the ark remained alive.
Every Vessel That Was Borrowed, Was Filled Up And Was Able To Pay The Debt And Live Off The Rest!
2 Kings 4:1-A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the LORD. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves.”
2-So Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.”
3-Then he said, “Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbors—empty vessels; do not gather just a few.
4-“And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones.”
5-So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out.
6-Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.” And he said to her, “There is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased.
7-Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest.”
Jesus Turns 6 Waterpots Of Water To 6 Waterpots Of Wine!
John 2:1-On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.
2-Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding.
3-And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, “They have no wine.”
4-Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does your concern have to do with Me? My hour has not yet come.”
5-His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.”
6-Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of purification of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece.
7-Jesus said to them, “Fill the waterpots with water.” And they filled them up to the brim.
8-And He said to them, “Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast.” And they took it.
9-When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom.
10-And he said to him, “Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!”
