May the peace of the Lord be with you.
Topic: *GOD OF MERCY AND COMPASSION*
Romans 15:8-12 King James Version (KJV)
8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:
9 And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.
10 And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.
11 And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.
12 And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.
Beloved, the Apostle Paul demonstrated or painted A picture of a very merciful and compassionate God who sought not to discriminate but bring the world, Jews and Gentiles together to love Him, serve Him, praise Him and worship Him that Jesus the firstborn of God Almighty shall reign over all. He did this because He is merciful and loves all of His creation.
Beloved if you are a non Jew, know that you are not a secondary Christian or second to any child of God. You are a child just like every other person. This is how God has made it and it shall stay so, so long as our God lives.
Beloved the promise to the fathers, which is God's truth that Christ came to minister, is for the Jews but through our faith in Christ it is for all of us Jews and Gentiles alike.
Therefore don't leave somethings out of your worship and classify them as being for the Jews alone. Everything belongs to all of us through faith in Jesus. Be fully committed and go all out to worship God Almighty leaving no stone unturned.
Beloved, God has been merciful and compassionate to us all, in that what was meant to be for a few people is now for all of us and available to even the world, that if the world should believe in Jesus and come to Him they will also have a share in the promise to the fathers.
Beloved, *IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else. Jesus is merciful and compassionate. Look up to Him and live in same manner. Show mercy and be compassionate to all you meet. Don't be selective, don't be racist, don't discriminate. Be open and receptive to all and as you show mercy, Jesus shall show you mercy.
Prayer: Daddy please empower me to be merciful and show compassion always. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
