THIS MESSAGE IS NOT FOR THE UNSAVED PEOPLE BUT FOR BELIEVERS, CHRISTIAN MINISTERS, YOUTH LEADERS, PASTORS, PREACHERS, CHRISTIAN LEADERS AND CHURCH LEADERS!
The Lord is righteous!
Zephaniah 3:5“The LORD is righteous within her; He will do no injustice. Every morning He brings His justice to light; He does not fail…”
If there are more than 10 challans of traffic violation, then the vehicle would be seized, Hyderabad: Violators of traffic rules can land in jail if there are more than 10 challans pending against them. Same offence repeated thrice within a calendar year would lead to cancellation of your driving license and four-time traffic offence by a particular vehicle would lead to cancellation of the vehicle registration. When a Government has the authority to punish people who violate law, why do people think that they can hoodwink God? I wonder!
Now and then, we do need to hear that God is not asleep, He is very much alert and morning by morning He brings justice to light, caveat! We treat His commandments too lightly and we are surrounded by social media and Christian networks that teach and cajole us that God’s grace will take care of all our wickedness and sins; yes, true, God forgives our sins but He never desires us to persist and continue in sin – even after knowledge of good and bad. God cannot be duped! Anybody there?
If you think you can have an extra marital relationship and still take holy communion and if you think God is blind, then the devil is a liar, he has deceived you to believe lies about God. God expects us to be holy, this message is not to scare you and point guns at you but this is to warn you about the righteousness of God that demands us to walk like Him. While you are offered ice creams to cool your senses in almost all corners of the earth, don’t you think it is my duty to tell you that there is a place called HELL and only God has the authority to throw you there, read:
Mathew 10:28“Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.”
James 4:12”God alone, who gave the law, is the Judge. He alone has the power to save or to destroy….”
There is a rampant increase of rape, corruption and other unlawful, daring activities because of delay in punishment! Can I use another phrase? Delay of enforcement of law! There is a big hue and cry for some time, procession undertaken, media goes hammer and tongs over it like wildfire, everybody is talking about it at dinner tables, street corners, parliament, colleges, hot debates are held and then???? Nothing happens. The legal procedures do take place at snail-pace and then comes the judgment followed by further appeal against the judgment. There is no end. The accused is scot-free throughout this period, while the beleaguered victims are further emotionally, financially and mentally worn out.
God’s judgment would not be so! When He comes one will be taken and the other left behind! Mathew 24:41”Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. “ Let us not take God and His mercy for granted!
PART 2 – You are the man…..
2 Samuel 11:27 “When the time of mourning was over, David sent and brought her to his house and she became his wife; then she bore him a son. But the thing that David had done was evil in the sight of the LORD.”
Above words are pretty eerie! The lust for a woman had been so fierce and ferocious that David did some unthinkable and crude things to possess that woman because his eyes had feasted on her. David after sharing his bed with Bathsheba did not stop there but plotted and got Bathsheba’s husband Uriah killed in the war, and then brought her to his palace. She now gets pregnant and also delivers a baby boy. Everything seems to be hunky dory and David is still in honeymoon mood until we read “ the thing that David had done was evil in the sight of the Lord.” I seriously don’t want to write about this incident (not nice at all) but I am pressed by God to write out facts and warn people. Listen! God sent Nathan to David, read:
2 Samuel 12:7” Nathan then said to David, "You are the man! Thus says the LORD God of Israel, 'It is I who anointed you king over Israel and it is I who delivered you from the hand of Saul.”
It was particularly not easy for Prophet Nathan because David was his friend and also a king; he did not shun from the heavenly assignment though. Nathan tactfully starts by telling a small story of a little lamb and then confronts him head-on and tells David, ‘Thou art the man!’ Nathan further goes on to say, ‘"Thus says the LORD,
• “the sword shall never depart from your house, because you have despised Me and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife.'
• Behold, I will raise up evil against you from your own household; I will even take your wives before your eyes and give them to your companion, and he will lie with your wives in broad daylight.
• 'Indeed you did it secretly, but I will do this thing before all Israel, and under the sun.'"
• the child also that is born to you shall surely die."
God was not joking but judgment was declared! Stop playing the fool and take God seriously; why were the above judgment against David so severe? God gives us the answer, read this with reverence and trembling:
• because by this deed you have given occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme.
• David was no ordinary person but a king; people blessed by God with important portfolios have a responsibility – you cannot play tricks like a child.
'Behold, I will raise up evil against you from your own household.” Boy, those are tough, harsh words, but hang on, Nathan was sent by the Lord and those words are from God. How many are humble enough to see God when reprimanded? I lost a whole bunch of teammates and a lot more people when I corrected them, people cannot handle correction. We live in an era of a bunch of rebels who rule their own life, ministries and family. They would neither listen to in-laws or the law.
I know people find my writings sound or some may call it strong or may be harsh, but friend, I’m on a mission with a prophetic mantle to write, preach, correct and build the body of Christ.
Part 3 – ELI
1 Samuel 2:28” 'Did I not choose them (family of Eli) from all the tribes of Israel to be My priests, to go up to My altar, to burn incense, to carry an ephod before Me; and did I not give to the house of your father all the fire offerings of the sons of Israel?
People working in the House of the Lord cannot be careless, reckless and mindless like the secular world, you are accountable to God for your life, caveat! Punishment would be severe!
We would be punished if we refuse to listen to His voice:
When the priest Eli and his sons rejected God and His voice, God brings in young Samuel into the temple and also to serve Him at the altar, read 1 Samuel 3:1,’.. boy Samuel ministered to the LORD before Eli’. God comes down in the quietness of the night, to speak to young Samuel and tell him all that he plans to do against the family of Eli, read: “Behold, I will do something in Israel at which both ears of everyone who hears it will tingle.”
Despite God warning Eli earlier about his sons and their sins, yet he did not restrain them and rebuke them. God was very angry with priest Eli that He preferred to talk to a young, inexperienced Samuel who had just joined His services rather than to a seasoned priest. Beware! God would stop talking if you refuse to listen to Him! Further even after the warning received through Samuel, we can see the callous negligence of Eli, read his words, "It is the LORD. Let Him do what seems good to Him." Finally we see God’s judgment on Eli and his family when they were all killed
Alas, the high priest and the Judge of Israel died disgracefully!
