1. Will I be able to do everything in Heaven?
a. The curse and limitation of the fall will be removed. You will not be unlike Adam and Eve in the Garden. Heaven is likened unto a garden (Rev. 21:23 – 22:6).
b. You will be able to do “exceedingly, abundantly, above” what you are now able to do.
c. You will not be limited by the laws of gravity and time (angels travel at the speed of thought).
2. What will I wear in Heaven?
a. The type of clothes that angels wear.
b. As Adam and Eve before the fall, we will not be ashamed.
c. Robe type of clothing?
3. Will I eat in Heaven? Drink?
a. In His resurrected body Jesus ate. “And they gave Him a piece of broiled fish, and of a honeycomb. And He took it, and did eat before them” (Luke 24:42-43).
b. You will probably be a vegetarian as were Adam and Eve before the fall. Heaven will have “a pure river” (Rev. 22:1). “Fruit trees” (Rev. 22:2).
c. Angels have incorporeal bodies, yet manifested themselves physically, and they have eaten in that state (Gen. 18:8).
d. You will eat in Heaven for enjoyment, but not of necessity, or for physical strength, or growth.
4. Will I work in Heaven?
a. Yes, you will work in Heaven but not hate it. The curse that was associated with work will be removed (Gen. 3:17-19).
b. You will work and be productive and grow because of it, and glorify God through it. “His servants shall serve Him” (Rev. 22:3).
c. Your main work will be the “service of worship” or praise. “And hast made us unto our God, kings and priest and we shall reign on the Earth” (Rev. 5:10).
5. Will I get money for work?
a. Money is barter or a medium of exchange. Money places value on work, products and time. Money is our objective standard whereby sinful selfish people can relate one to another. Where there is no standard, people steal, lie, fight and kill because of their selfish desires.
b. Money will not be the motivation of work in Heaven.
c. No sinful selfishness.
d. People will readily work.
e. Yet they will have what they need because Heaven is perfect and will have all they want.
f. No need to stockpile money.
g. Notice the negative attitudes toward money that will not be in Heaven. No need of a gate for protection, (Rev. 21:25). “There shall in no wise enter into it anything that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie” (Rev. 21:27).
6. Will I grow in Heaven?
a. Not physically. There will be no physical problems associated with disease, tumors, cancer, rotten teeth, failing eyesight, etc.
b. You will grow spiritually. You will constantly become more like Jesus, but no one will ever be exactly like Him, because He is God.
c. You will grow mentally.
d. You will grow emotionally (your personality of intellect, emotions and will).
e. The “healing of the nations” (Rev. 22:2) means “Growth.”
7. Will I retain my ethnic characteristics?
a. Yes, you will be known as you are known.
b. Heaven has “the nations (ethnic nature) of them who are saved” (Rev. 21:24). “And they sung a new song, saying, ‘Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for Thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by the blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation’” (Rev. 5:9).
8. What language will I speak?
a. You will speak God’s language.
b. The New Testament language of Greek.
c. The heavenly language of Hebrew.
d. The language that angels speak.
e. You will speak what you spoke on this earth, but you will be able to understand and be understood. “And every creature . . . heard I saying, ‘Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be to Him who sits on the throne” (Rev. 5:13).
9. Will I sleep in Heaven?
a. “No night there” (Rev. 21:25).
b. You need sleep on earth because of the curse; toil and hard work tears down the body, but sleep replenishes strength and renews stamina. You won’t need to sleep in Heaven because you will always have all the energy you need. But that doesn’t mean you won’t sleep or enjoy it.
10. Will Heaven be fun?
a. We think of fun as physical stimulation, diversion from work, dream fulfillment, self-fulfilling.
b. Heaven will not be fun as defined above, because you will not need stimulation; you will enjoy work, all aspiration will have been fulfilled and you will be complete in Jesus and need nothing.
c. The sensation we seek on Earth called “fun” will be automatically fulfilled in Heaven.
11. Where will I live?
a. You will live on Earth. “I saw a new Heaven and a new Earth, for first Heaven and the first Earth were passed away” (Rev. 21:1). Earth will not be new in substance but new in kind and sequence.
b. You will live in a city. “I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem coming down out of Heaven from God” (Rev. 21:2).
c. You will live in an apartment/condominium. “In my Father’s house are many mansions (abodes or apartments) . . . I go to prepare a place for you” (John 14:2).
12. What will my body be like in Heaven?
a. You will have a perfect body. No more results of sin and aging (i.e., false teeth, hairpiece).
b. We will appear to others with our unique personality/characteristics.
c. We will retain our physical characteristics.
13. What is not in Heaven?
a. No sin, no more death, no sorrow, no crying, no pain, no abomination, no murderers, no whoremongers, no sorcerers, no idolaters, no temple, no sun, no moon, no shut gate, no night, no cures, no candle.
14. What is in Heaven?
a. Jesus, God, the Holy Spirit, a throne, a tree of life, a pure river, God as the sun, different ethnic groups, 24 elders, angels (Michael, Gabriel), the Lamb’s bride, choir, lightning, thunders, the Lamb’s Book of Life, golden streets.

“Christ Jesus the Savior of sinners and life of the dead. I am going, going to glory! Farewell sin! Farewell death! Praise the Lord!” –Richard Newton (1753).
If you have never really accepted Jesus as your personal Savior, would you do it right now? Do not delay or put it off. If you would like to receive Christ by faith, pray this simple prayer in your heart:
Dear Lord, I acknowledge that I am a sinner. I believe Jesus died for my sins on the cross, and rose again the third day. I repent of my sins. By faith I receive the Lord Jesus as my Savior. You promised to save me, and I believe You, because You are God and cannot lie. I believe right now that the Lord Jesus is my personal Savior, and that all my sins are forgiven through His precious blood. I thank You, dear Lord, for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
