The Holy Spirit has been teaching me a lot about how Jesus paid the price in full for us to enjoy life. He wants us to live in this realm as children of God and He sees us as he sees His Son Jesus Christ.
God does not in any way condemn us His children because of what His Son has done. I
believe that we are so blessed and like the prodigal son in Luke 15: 11 - 32 we can come back to the Father and in His faithfulness He welcomes us back with open arms. The story of the prodigal son shows us the love and compassion of a good father, a Father who loves us with all our short comings.
God knows everything about us and He said so in the book of Psalm 139: 1 - 23
O Lord, You have searched me and known me.
You know my sitting down and my rising up;
You understand my thought afar off.
You comprehend my path and my lying down,
And are acquainted with all my ways.
For there is not a word on my tongue,
But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether.
You have hedged me behind and before,
And laid Your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
It is high, I cannot attain it.
Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence?
If I ascend into heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.
If I take the wings of the morning,
And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
Even there Your hand shall lead me,
And Your right hand shall hold me.
If I say, “Surely the darkness shall fall on me,”
Even the night shall be light about me;
Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You,
But the night shines as the day;
The darkness and the light are both alike to You.
For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them.
How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!
How great is the sum of them!
If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand;
When I awake, I am still with You.
Oh, that You would slay the wicked, O God!
Depart from me, therefore, you bloodthirsty men.
For they speak against You wickedly;
Your enemies take Your name in vain.
Do I not hate them, O Lord, who hate You?
And do I not loathe those who rise up against You?
I hate them with perfect hatred;
I count them my enemies.
Search me, O God, and know my heart;
Try me, and know my anxieties;
And see if there is any wicked way in me,
And lead me in the way everlasting.
Isn't it beautiful that the God of the universe knows everything about us His children? and that nothing is hidden from Him. Why? because He is our Father. Look at what He says in Matthew 7:9 "Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!"
This is who our God is. A God that loves us that much, He said How much more will He our Father give to us all we ask and even more?
In Romans 8: 32 He gave us this promise
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
Whatever we are going through in life, God says in Psalms 139 that He knows everything. Nothing is hidden from Him. He sees it all and He says to us I know your ending from the beginning. I know where you are at. I know my plans for you all. I know how it will all turn out. I created and formed you before you were formed in your mother's womb. I am in you and with you and for you. All I am asking from you is to trust Me and believe that I am able to see you through it all.
Jeremiah 1: 4 - 5
Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;
Before you were born I sanctified you;
I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Isaiah 55: 8 - 9
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts."
God gave birth to us for a purpose and without limiting Him He will see to it that it will all come to manifestation. I was reading the book of Matthew about the birth of Jesus and how Herod was desperate to see Jesus not because he wanted to bless Him but he had the plan to kill Jesus even at a young age. But God protected Jesus and He was able to accomplish what He was sent to do.
And this applies to us as well. That whatever our Father has said to us will be done. The delay does not matter, the process to the manifestation is all going to work out for our good.
The book of Hebrews chapter 2 verse 10 says that God wanted many children and He created us and we are sharing in His glory. We are going to make it and it pleases God to bless us his children and that is our Father's desire. When I saw this it blew my mind. That i have a Father who loves me and wants to bless me? I was so blessed and I just gave thanks.
God as a good plan for us all, relax and enjoy Him as a Father. This is your year of abundance of joy. All is well like He said in Isaiah 3:10
“Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them,
For they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
Once you have received Jesus as your Lord then you are the righteous. So He says to us that IT IS WELL!. Not looking at ourselves but focusing on Jesus who is the Author and Finisher of our faith.
Jesus has paid the price for our freedom in full and we are to trust in the finished work of Jesus. We know that when He presented His Blood to His Father, the claims of justice was met, and this means that we have been delivered from the Kingdom of darkness into His own Kingdom and He now calls us to reign with Him here on earth as a king and priest. Wow! what a might God we serve.
It's all about Jesus!
Jesus is the only one who came to show us the right way to live.
Jesus is the One that had to die for us all.
Jesus is the door that we can go in and come out with Him as our shepherd.
Jesus is our light who took us out of darkness.
Jesus is the only one who took our place on the cross.
Jesus is the bread of Life.
Jesus is Lord Of All.
Jesus is God manifest when He came on earth.
There was a great exchange on the cross. He took our place and gave us His glory, His favour, His anointing and His blessing.
In John 17:22
He made this powerful statement
And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one.
The same glory that the Father gave to us Son is the exact glory that we have been given. Isn't Jesus good.? we are partaking of His glory and remember that Moses said to God in Exodus 33: 18 - 23
And he said, “Please, show me Your glory.”
Then He said, “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.” But He said, “You cannot see My face; for no man shall see Me, and live.” And the Lord said, “Here is a place by Me, and you shall stand on the rock. So it shall be, while My glory passes by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by. Then I will take away My hand, and you shall see My back; but My face shall not be seen.”
Now as a new creation we have this same glory because of Jesus's coming. We are a blessed generation and Jesus is our Brother who came to make a way for us to His Father's presence. He came to reconcile us back to His Father and we have a covenant relationship with God the Father.
It's all about Jesus!
Because it's all about Jesus we need Him to help us at all times, we need Him in every situation and this is why He intercedes for us according to the book of Hebrews 7:25
Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. ( NKJV )
The amplified version puts it this way.
Therefore He is able also to save forever (completely, perfectly, for eternity) those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to intercede and intervene on their behalf [with God].
Jesus is our intercessor who goes to God on our behalf and He does it as we ask Him too. He always helps us and does not look at our weaknesses, He is ever present to remind the Father of His shed Blood! We have a good God who is also our Brother in Heaven and in us.
Another very important blessing is the presence of the Holy Spirit in us.
John 14: 16 -18
And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), to be with you forever— the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive [and take to its heart] because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He (the Holy Spirit) remains with you continually and will be in you.
“I will not leave you as orphans [comfortless, bereaved, and helpless]; I will come [back] to you.
We have in us a:
- Comforter
- Advocate
- Intercessor
- Counselor
- Strengthener
- Standby
The Holy Spirit!
The Spirit of God is so powerful. And He is the same Spirit that gave Jesus life in the grave and He is now abiding in us to help us and stands by us when all hope is lost.
It's all about Jesus!
Isn't it?
Remain blessed in His presence and He promises to do great things in your lives including mine. He said He is able to do exceedingly and abundantly what we ask or think according to His power that works in us.
