Thanksgiving is the Will of God!
Here are four things that I believe God wants us to keep at the forefront this holiday season:
I. It is the will of God to give thanks.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NIV) “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
II. Thanks is an act of a humility.
Ist Peter 5:12 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
The enemy of gratitude is not ingratitude: it’s pride.
III. Thanks brings us closer to God.
Psalm 100:4 declares, “I will enter his gates with thanksgiving and I will come into his courts with praise.”
IV. Every day that we live unto the Lord a Thanksgiving day!”
